I've been a Geno supporter since Brawl and I've seen a lot of detractors saying that the obscurity of the character makes him one of the worst choices for Smash and people that support his inclusion are just "hopping on the badwagon". While watching this video you have given the most succinct, well researched, non-bias background and reasoning for mine and others' hopes for Geno in Smash. Thank you for an excellent video and level-headed approach to this amazing character from my childhood!
My big fear is that there's not much originality left to be had with the "gun for a hand" style of fighter, after Samus, Megaman, and Mii Gunner... That said, if they toyed around with the "possessed doll" thing, I think there's a lot you could do. What if Geno's could leave his wooden body to become a sort of controllable projectile? Or when he takes a fatal blow, it breaks the body, but leaves his star form behind? Any hit will KO it, but it's much faster then normal Geno. Or if we REALLY wanted to go crazy, we could make the body something that could be deposited at-will, allowing the player to swap between heavier wooden Geno and lighter star Geno. While empty, the body could function like a cross between Wario's bike and K.Rool's crown. Or perhaps star Geno can return to it at any time, meaning he could surprise-attack opponents from behind. To counter that, you'd make star-geno take extra percent when outside his protective shell. I don't really get the fan support for Geno, and wouldn't be all that interested if they just did "gun hand with timed inputs." If they did something like this, though? I'd be all for it!
I love the weird/obscure characters more than most popular ones. Pirhana Plant is probably the best example of a bizzare pick that turned out great; I love his design. Obscurity should never be a factor.
Always wondered why Geno isn’t at least playable in the Mario Kart games. That’d be a nice way of keeping him relevant and helping his chances at inclusion in Smash.
Because he ain't a Mario character fully but also a square enix one. Making him playable in another game requires the green light of square, which is, from a financial pov for the Nintendo's officials, not worth it just to "keep him relevant and helping his chances at inclusion in smash". He's a secondary protagonist of a niche Mario spinoff, who's never came out in Europe. If they choose someone as square rep, they a plenty of characters more iconic than Geno.
This is a pretty good parallel to the Geno moveset you made already. Trying to time the Action Commands with the buffer of Ultimate Online would be a nightmare.
Part of the reason I love Geno so much (and why I think he deserves to be in Smash) is because, from a story perspective, it really could be argued that he's the true protagonist of Super Mario RPG. It may be Mario's adventure, but it's Geno's quest.
Geno is nothing more but a side character in a mario game. Nobody wouldn't care about him if he was in a another game whitout mario. He piggybacking off of mario GOAT status. Geno us not interested along to have his own game other wise Square would have done something whit him. Don't ever disrespect mario again you entitled brat.
He’s entitled to his opinion dude. And honestly, he’s not wrong. Mario was originally only trying to save Peach. Geno was trying to save the world. It’s interesting because Geno acted to guide Mario in the right direction. As for why Geno was never used, it’s probably because of copyright issues. He’s connected so heavily to the Mario mythos it would be hard to do anything with the character. Plus, with that design, where would he fit besides a Kingdom Hearts game?
@@ephemeralexistence578 I think the issue is more that Kingdom Hearts is jointly owned by Disney and Square. Where as the game Geno is from is jointly owned by Square and Nintendo. It would probably be far too complicated to try to throw in Geno in a way that would make sense; not that Kingdom Hearts actually makes sense. That's not to say that I don't like Kingdom Hearts just that it would make even less sense than usual. And honestly he wouldn't fit in with anything other than a Mario game. Or Super Smash Bros.
God, I hope Geno get’s in. The action command idea would be so fun to implement into smash, though using it online would in fact be the absolute worst. Glad to see a new video from you dude!
True, but i kinda doubt it. He appeared in one game and he's overpowered. He could defeat practically almost every character in smash. Besides, the Mii Gunner is like Geno because of their great firepower.
UΠMaskΞD R then where’s the mii gunner Geno costume from Smash 4? Why is it missing? I’m not saying that confirms Geno 100% for sure, but it is weird, right? And Geno, were he added to smash, would absolutely need to have the timed hits gimmick. Otherwise he would essentially be a mii gunner clone. I would be totally fine with the costume honestly, but seeing Geno officially in Smash as his own character would be pretty cathartic.
INFERNO95 yes, actually. Maybe not the exact moveset, but the gimmick for sure. Sakurai has said before that characters are added when they will bring something new to the table in terms of play style. Even Byleth, the most similar to an existing character from the DLC, has a very unique playstyle and feels very different to play compared to other fire emblem characters. And times hits would fit right in, fighting game characters get some of their inputs, why not have a Mario RPG character use their inputs?
I think you have me sold on that concept. I like the high risk and reward with precision characters, especially when they're glass cannons to further balance them out. There's also a lot of long reaching hitboxes to trap your opponent into or use as coverage to control the stage, just the type of character I'd like to play lol
Way better than the Crusade version of Geno, where the action commands weren't just optional but more or less required. A good game, but they really didn't realize Geno's full potential.
Honestly, I absolutely dread any thought of Geno being used for Online play (if he does, in fact, get introduced to the roster). The Timed Hits mechanic seems like a nightmare to utilize with Nintendo's laggy online.
I played Mario RPG recently and I didn't understand why it was so beloved, the story is charming, the characters are great, and the visuals are beautiful, but beyond that I didn't feel that special charm a lot have with him, but I never considered the moment the game came out, if there wasn't such thing as a more before I would had fell in love with the game too, like, is the same with Banjo-Kazooie and Half Life, if you are a modern gamer and you visit those classics maybe you wouldn't understand why everyone loves them so much besides the charm, but once you understand the time they came out and how were the games of its genres before them you will understand why is so beloved. Thanks for the explanation, now I have more respect and appreciation for the game.
This game was released during the tail end of the snes lifecycle. The game is overhype due to being a mario game and was overlooked due to the system having better RPG like chrono trigger. Compare to later mario RPG games this one has not age well. Most who think it a good never played it and is hopping on the hype just to bring attention to themselves.
@@INFERNO95 I've never understood this claim that Geno/Mario RPG fans never played Mario RPG, it's fine if you personally don't like the game, but for a lot of people it's still a blast to go back and play even today, it holds up remarkably well as an early rpg and put enough spins on the genre to make it stand out. There's a reason most Mario RPG games are fun, The baseline that SMRPG set for Paper Mario and the Mario & Luigi series was solid. And honestly, for a solid rpg experience, I'd say Mario RPG actually pulled of some things better than it's followers, especially considering the modern day state of the Paper Mario series. Obviously this is all just my opinion as someone that played Mario RPG as a kid and replayed it recently, but I'm fairly certain the insistence of Geno fans still pushing for him in Smash goes to show that this sentiment isn't a rare one.
@@psicopato2460 Yeah, INFERNO95 is confusing his opinions for facts. And he's also making some pretty broad assumptions about both the fans of Mario RPG and the game itself. Sadly, there's a lot of this sort of thing going on out there.
Imagine a game where Ridley, King K. Rool, Banjo&Kazooie and Geno are all playable, the 4 Horsemen of Decade Long Requests, Smash Ultimate is the only game we could see that becoming a reality. Let’s pray to the Star Road and cross our fingers for our beloved Star Warrior to make his long awaited return, the same way K. Rool and Banjo did. ua-cam.com/video/44xuI4AXRo0/v-deo.html
TomGyroid Yes I would count Isaac too but he’s been done dirty of any character. They cut him altogether in Smash 4 only to bring him back as an Assist yet again. Bomberman is another character I would say that was done dirty.
Aside from the fact that commitment aspect you mention for all his moves in this revision are very fitting for our old friend, I think it is even more beautiful given the parallel this aspect of the play style has to the commitment Geno’s fans have held steady over the years. I love this revision a lot. I’d like a way for him to fast fall a fair amount to combat his floatiness but other then that this is near perfect. Well done. Fingers crossed for our ♡♪!? 🙏🏼❤️⭐️
I would like to make two more critiques: I would rather his up air not be offensive but rather actually give tenpoarary buffs like in the game and the action command providing the defense buff as well. This would not be stack able most likely. I also would like to see the red arrows but honestly, only if it was used on the ground with a small hop up motion which wouldn’t provide any mobility more than the hop, but also allow it if there is more intent placed on it. Secondly, I would like the down B to me able to be moved, like change the lines location while charging so you can place it, similarly but not quite the same as Snake’s valkyrie rocket (side B). To make this not OP, I think the blasts within the moves range radiating around the places line, though should be powers up in quantity of beams and quality of their power, should be random so that there is still an aspect of chance to it and it isn’t completely foolproof. Let me know your thoughts :)
And I didn't knew he already made a video about this and I was thinking "Mmm, that guy of the loveseats for Smash, has he done something for Geno?" Lol
These comment section is so boring, people are going crazy over this character, I think he'd be fun and unique, that's what he needs to be, if he'd be a "rep" of something doesn't matter. "He's overpowered" like Ridley, "it's a Mario character that was only important in one game" like Daisy and Rosa, "hasn't been important for 20 years" like K. Rool, "if it wasn't because of Smash no one would know him" like the Icies, "he's from an overhyped game" like Mario, from MarioKart, Mario Odyssey, etc... Go live a life and stop hating on things that are so simple
I never imagined Geno would have variations of Byleth's neutral special, Mii Swordfighter's Chakram side special, Hero's up special without a windbox and XP, and Palutena's up smash + custom move down special from SSB4 as down special!
For the alt colors you can mix bot ideas tbh, the 7 stars colors can be used in the eyes and on the "sparkles" he can have in his animations, while the colors of his clothes and maybe the body representing other party members. I never thought about the stars as a reference but now that you mention it I just love it!
1:37 kinda dissapointed BK aren't shown here oh cool yoshiller helped w/ this! I like this moveset, really well-thought-out. I'd play him often as a Paper Mario fan!
Good moveset :) Only thing I’d add is that up until now all dlc fighters have cinematic final smashes, so Geno would be no different (although the idea of the final smash remains the same)
Love this video, one tweak I'd like to suggest Take one of his Throws (Let's say his Back Throw) and instead of just flinging the opponent in that direction, He points the arm holding the opponent in that direction, then fires off a fist rocket while they're still being held. You could make it explode on its own after some travel, Or you could be cheeky and give it the properties of Kappin's bus
I just realized how much of this is just Mii Gunner with an Action Command Gimmick in Places. Guess Sakurai wasnt 100% Wrong when saying Mii Gunner is kind of like Geno.
If possible, I'd love to see a revisit to your Elma (Xenoblade Chronicles X) concept. Seeing as she's being more talked about since Min Min killed the Spirit fan-rule.
l'd love to hear your take on Rayman, as he has both a decent chance of getting in as well as a lot of potential for a cool and unique moveset l feel :]
Geno will come 100% playable in Smash. Hopefully as character #77. Stage will be Forest Maze or Vista Hill. Some spirits with him like Smithy and some epic bosses. The CGI trailer will be perfection every second, starring Mario, Kirby and Rosalina, and some epic remixes of Forest Maze and Armes Boss by Yoko Shimomura herself. It will be the most epic return along with other legends such as Mega Man and Banjo-Kazooie. Geno will be playable again after 24 years. One heavily requested character during two decades. His moveset and design will be so good and beautiful. Sakurai and his Team will do an amazing job as always. GENO LANDS INTO SMASH! GENO VISITS FROM ABOVE! GENO JOINS THE PARTY! GENO GETS THE SHOW ON THE ROAD! GENO GETS POSSESSED AGAIN! GENO FLASHES IN! Just wait and see. :)
I just hope you don't get mad if you're wrong. Getting yourself so hyped up like this and assuming he'll get in just because you want him to isn't good for you or the fan base.
This aged extremely poorly on two different levels. Not only did Geno get a Mii Costume yet again, but even before Sephiroth happened, character #77 was actually Steve.
I know this might sound like a joke suggestion, but... Rosie Mayfield Styles on the Competition! Background: Rosie Mayfield is one of the protagonists from the Style Savvy series (the same series that gave us the iconic Ring a Ding). The series is a 1st party Nintendo franchise with 4 entries, the newest one was in 2017, and it has 3 tracks in Ultimate (Final Fantasy only has 2). So, clearly it's an IP Nintendo cares about, but how would a character from the very relaxed and easy-going series translate to Smash? Appearance: Rosie would appear as she does in Style Savvy 3. Her alts have a ton of possibilities, since she comes from a fashion sim game. They could have outfits inspired by other characters across the series, or have alts that straight up are the other characters in the series in a Bowser Jr type situation. Attributes: Playstyle: Stylish, but requires thought Just like in her home series, Rosie is all about flair and style. However, she also needs to manage her options and pick the right one for the job, just like in her home series. Stats: Weight: 85 Walk Speed: 1.259 (as an aside, this HAS to be a catwalk strut, similar to Bayonetta) Initial Dash: 1.78 Dash Speed: 1.866 Air Speed: 1.18 Fall Speed: 1.46 Neutral attacks: Jab combo consists of hitting the opponent 3 times before transitioning into the infinite, similar to Bayonetta's jab. The first hit strike the opponent with a shampoo bottle, then a conditioner bottle, the a shower-head, before transitioning to the infinite jab hairdryer. Forward tilt is a forceful palm strike with a powder puff. She takes a step forward while performing it, giving a decent amount of horizontal range, and can be angled in different directions. It leaves the opponent a bit pale-faced after the attack, though unlike Inkling's ink, this is is purely visual and goes away almost immediately. Up tilt has her spray the air above her with a bottle of perfume. Down tilt is a sweeping attack with a broom. Got to keep that floor clear of hair, after all. Has a trip percentage. Grab: Her grab would trap the opponent in a perm heater machine (I don't know the name). Because of the size of the machine, it'd have above average horizontal range, and surprisingly great vertical range. Her pummel would have her snip at the opponent with a pair of scissors. I'm not sure you could realistically do for throws, but the developers of Style Savvy did develop a bunch of wrestling titles prior to the series creation, so you could sneak some wrestling throws in as a joke(?) Aerials: Neutral aerial would have her twirl around, showing off her dress before a final launcher hit, similar to Zelda's neutral air. Good for drag down combos and general combo extending. For forward aerial , she strikes in front of her with a two-hit combo. The first hit is done with a hairbrush, the second with a set of hair straighteners. The straighteners have high knockback and set the opponent on fire. Back aerial is a backwards, short-range slice with a lipstick, similar to Joker or Roy's back air. The lipstick will change colour depending on the player number (red if player 1, blue if player 2, etc.). Up aerial has her swing above her with a coat hanger. Disjointed and relatively quick, but low in power and knockback. A decent combo extender. Has a sweet spot on the hook that deals more damage. For her down aerial, she does a graceful flip into a stomp with both feet, complete with a set of high heels. This'll be your standard meteor smash down air, similar to Captain Falcon or Dr Mario, but it'd have a smaller hitbox to line up with her more lithe build compared to the others. The meteor effect will be made stronger to compensate, though it isn't dethroning Ganondorf or Byleth anytime soon. Smash Attacks: Taking a note out of Wii Fit Trainers book, her Smash attacks would have her aggressively pose into the opponent, albeit in this case they would be fashion poses rather than fitness ones. For her side smash, she stomps one foot forward while also striking forward with her elbow, with her hand making a peace sign over her eye, similar to one of Daisy's victory animations. For her down smash, she lies on the ground before striking a "French girls" kick upwards. Similar to down smashes like Mewtwo and Terry, which only hit one side. For her up smash, she swings overhead with a handbag, It's a small disjointed hitbox, but a disjoint nonetheless, and a decent anti-air option. Sort of a shorter range, slightly weaker Ganondorf up smash, but faster to compensate. Specials: Her side special is called Hair Play. The move behaves differently depending on if you tap the button or press and hold it. Tapping it lightly has her spill hair gel on the ground, making it sticky and reducing the jump height and run speed of anyone caught in it by half. By holding the button, you instead spray a can of hairspray, which covers a large area, deals like damage, and temporarily increases an opponents traction. It also causes the opponent to take more damage from fire and explosion attacks. Her neutral special is called Dress to Impress. This allows her to change her accessories, with each accessory having different effects. Fancy gloves increases the power of her physical moves, hard hat reduces damage and knockback temporarily, earrings slowly restore her health over time (though will go away after a certain amount of time), etc. There's a lot of different possibilities here. Her up special is called High and Dry. A chargeable up special, she aims two hair dryers downward and uses them to propel her through the air. The move doesn't deal damage, but does have a strong vertical windbox beneath her, especially if fully charged. Her down special is called Follow the Trend. By using this move, Rosie pulls out a camera and takes a photo of the opponent (its hitbox indicated by the camera flash). This move can be angled up or down slightly, and can be cancelled before taking the photograph. The move deals light damage and stuns opponents, making it a good combo starter. What makes the move unique, however, is that if the opponent was under the effects of a character-exclusive buff (Incineroar's Revenge, Hero's Acceleratle, WFT's Deep Breathing, etc.) when Rosie takes the photograph, she can copy the boost for herself. She can also take buffs from teammates in a Team Battle. I know some might say the move is very matchup-dependent, but Ness and Lucas PSI Magnet only absorbs energy projectiles, so it's clearly not been an issue before. To balance this out, she can take only one buff at a time, and the new buff always replaces the old one. However, buffs from her neutral special and buffs stolen from the opponent can stack together. Final Smash: Taunts: Her down taunt has her look through the photographs, replacing the film reel as she does so. Performing this taunt also cancels whatever buff she's acquire from Follow the Trend. Her side taunt has her sip from a teacup. Her up taunt has her sing into a microphone. Miscellaneous: The particle effects on her attacks could change colour depending on the alternate costume, or the player number. I know some things, like the blast K.O. change, but I'm talking more along the line of the particle effects with Mii Swordfighters Persona costumes. Overview: +Good combo tools and combo starters +Follow the Trend and Dress to Impress, while situational, can steal opponents strengths for herself, potentially fixing her shortcomings +Her wide range of equipment gives her noticeable disjoints on all of her moves -Can get camped out easily by zoners -Outside of her mediocre Smash attacks and brutal down air, has a tough time actually closing stocks -Relatively light weight makes her easy to KO I put way too much thought into this. I feel like I could say more here, but I think that's enough for now. What do you think?
I was genuinely surprised that Geno was not playable in Ultimate. After having witnessed both Ridley and King K Rool, I was sure Geno would follow, but alas. Unfortunately I think it's Square Enix fault. I wish Nintendo would just buy all the Mario RPG rights from them already and then make Geno a mainstay of the Mario spinoffs.
Yeah, this comment did not age well. But back then, there was so much evidence supporting Geno's inclusion, him not being playable seemed impossible and when I was proven wrong I felt so devastated. I'm making a video where I'll go more in depth with my feelings for these experiences.
I absolutely want a taunt where the Star Spirit leaves the Doll and sparkles around it then goes back into the Doll, would be on par with Ridley’s Stand Up Taunt imo.
Remember the Sakurai Golden Rule for developing DLC characters for Smash Ultimate: the charactes are chosen solely by Nintendo. They propose them and Sakurai and his team develop the character and moveset. He has clearly stated that what truly matters when picking a character is his/her playstyle, not how relevant he/she is to the current gaming scene (that's why Terry Bogard was chosen instead of so many other popular choices, same goes for Byleth, who, despite being a widely controversial choice for a vast majority of the community, his/her moveset is quite unique compared to other sworides/FE chars). That's the only golden rule, afaik. So Geno fits perfectly within such parameters. Mario RPG introduced timing and timed hits in the RPG genre, so that's very promising for Sakurai and his team to develop him. Also, remember, there's a pretty strong evidence in favor of Geno: Nintendo just recently shut down the Brawl mod where Geno is playable. Like a couple of weeks ago. They haven't done anything to the mod ever since it got released, back in Brawl, but, why, all of the sudden, out of the blue, they shut it down? It couldn't be a coincidence, imo.
I have an awesome idea for a reveal but I doubt it would happen but what if along side geno mallow also joined the roster, it is a large stretch but it would blow my mind

Do you think it's rather arbitrary that Geno supporters think he's gonna be Fighter 7 and be revealed this month (July is the 7th month) because of how 7 is part of his character?
Even back then it sounded super unrealistic. Some Geno Fans were literally expecting/hoping Geno would be revealed on the 7th of July as the 7th Challenger Pack, and 77th character overall, PURELY because the 7s matched with the _American_ subtitle of the game (not even the fact that the main plot is about collecting the seven Star Pieces; JUST the subtitle - which wasn't even in the original Japanese title)... DESPITE the fact that we JUST got Min Min released on the 29th of June, which is only a little over a week apart?!
Locks for Mii Costumes? Yeah sure, we already got Rex as the Fighter's Pass 1 bonus content, Geno's been revealed a month ago to go with Sephiroth, and both Geno and Lloyd had Mii Costumes in Smash 4. _And every character-based Mii Costumes from Smash 4 seems to be returning..._

@@MrLegendofLP true
I think you have me sold on that concept. I like the high risk and reward with precision characters, especially when they're glass cannons to further balance them out.
There's also a lot of long reaching hitboxes to trap your opponent into or use as coverage to control the stage, just the type of character I'd like to play lol
I hope you like the new visual style for this series. Any feedback is welcomed.
Some crazy lucky timing you got there
yeah so lucky
Wouldn't it be fitting if he was the next fighter, Since it'd be the 7th DLC fighter and 77th fighter altogether. I guess we can just hope.
Steve rocks the block, and the hopes of mine
@@INFERNO95 you like to waste your time hating on kids games don't ya?
@@psicopato2460 Yeah, INFERNO95 is confusing his opinions for facts. And he's also making some pretty broad assumptions about both the fans of Mario RPG and the game itself. Sadly, there's a lot of this sort of thing going on out there.

Damn I didn't know Geno was this badass! Nice Video!
This is super appropriate considering the GameStop leak (even though nothing is confirmed). Really cool video!!
I would like to make two more critiques:
I would rather his up air not be offensive but rather actually give tenpoarary buffs like in the game and the action command providing the defense buff as well.
I was literally just watching this video, what a coincidence!

For the alt colors you can mix bot ideas tbh, the 7 stars colors can be used in the eyes and on the "sparkles" he can have in his animations, while the colors of his clothes and maybe the body representing other party members. I never thought about the stars as a reference but now that you mention it I just love it!

Shucks, I thought you were making another Paper Mario move set. But this is cool too. I hope that Geno fans get their wish soon!
Good moveset :) Only thing I’d add is that up until now all dlc fighters have cinematic final smashes, so Geno would be no different (although the idea of the final smash remains the same)
Pirahna Plant, though.
Love this video, one tweak I'd like to suggest
Take one of his Throws (Let's say his Back Throw) and instead of just flinging the opponent in that direction,
He points the arm holding the opponent in that direction, then fires off a fist rocket while they're still being held.
You could make it explode on its own after some travel,
Or you could be cheeky and give it the properties of Kappin's bus
This guy is so darn cute! He'd be fun to play as in Smash!
But I have a question: do you think you can do a Challenger Approaching video on Shantae?

I know this might sound like a joke suggestion, but...
Rosie Mayfield Styles on the Competition!
Background:
Rosie Mayfield is one of the protagonists from the Style Savvy series (the same series that gave us the iconic Ring a Ding).
Appearance:
Rosie would appear as she does in Style Savvy 3. Her alts have a ton of possibilities, since she comes from a fashion sim game. They could have outfits inspired by other characters across the series, or have alts that straight up are the other characters in the series in a Bowser Jr type situation.
Attributes:
Playstyle: Stylish, but requires thought
Just like in her home series, Rosie is all about flair and style. However, she also needs to manage her options and pick the right one for the job, just like in her home series.
Stats:
Weight: 85
Walk Speed: 1.259 (as an aside, this HAS to be a catwalk strut, similar to Bayonetta)
Initial Dash: 1.78
Dash Speed: 1.866
Air Speed: 1.18
Fall Speed: 1.46
Neutral attacks:
Jab combo consists of hitting the opponent 3 times before transitioning into the infinite, similar to Bayonetta's jab.
Grab:
Her grab would trap the opponent in a perm heater machine (I don't know the name). Because of the size of the machine, it'd have above average horizontal range, and surprisingly great vertical range.
Her pummel would have her snip at the opponent with a pair of scissors.
I'm not sure you could realistically do for throws, but the developers of Style Savvy did develop a bunch of wrestling titles prior to the series creation, so you could sneak some wrestling throws in as a joke(?)
Aerials:
Neutral aerial would have her twirl around, showing off her dress before a final launcher hit, similar to Zelda's neutral air.
Smash Attacks:
Taking a note out of Wii Fit Trainers book, her Smash attacks would have her aggressively pose into the opponent, albeit in this case they would be fashion poses rather than fitness ones.
Specials:
Her side special is called Hair Play.
Final Smash:
Taunts:
Her down taunt has her look through the photographs, replacing the film reel as she does so. Performing this taunt also cancels whatever buff she's acquire from Follow the Trend.
Her side taunt has her sip from a teacup.
Her up taunt has her sing into a microphone.
Miscellaneous:
The particle effects on her attacks could change colour depending on the alternate costume, or the player number. I know some things, like the blast K.O. change, but I'm talking more along the line of the particle effects with Mii Swordfighters Persona costumes.
Overview:
+Good combo tools and combo starters
+Follow the Trend and Dress to Impress, while situational, can steal opponents strengths for herself, potentially fixing her shortcomings
+Her wide range of equipment gives her noticeable disjoints on all of her moves
-Can get camped out easily by zoners
-Outside of her mediocre Smash attacks and brutal down air, has a tough time actually closing stocks
-Relatively light weight makes her easy to KO

@@INFERNO95 While I agree Walugi doesn't have a chance at Smash, your argument for that is beyond stupid
i actually believe that geno will finally get the invitation to join smash ultimate's roster as a dlc fighter in fighter's pass 2, also it could be revealed that geno is actually a warrior luma
