I am not ashamed to say I wept the first time I heard your rendition of Elgar’s Lux Aeterna (and many times thereafter..). Please continue to share your wonderful talent with this world. Not sure if I misunderstand or miss something ... I dont think I have ever heard of any commandment in scripture, from our Lord, about the quality of beauty, in man, or in woman. Our commandment from Jesus is to love the Lord our God with all our hearts, our minds, our souls, and thus love our brothers and sisters, beautiful or not so beautiful. God is all mighty, all holy, all righteous, all love. I have not heard or read anywhere in the Bible saying beauty is one of the attributes of God.
There is only one true God, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, the only trinity being, that deserves us singing hymn to praise Him. No other human beings nor any saints, nor any spirits, nor any other entities elsewhere in this universe and beyond, deserve our worshipping nor praying to.
A lovely piece from several years ago. Four of these singers are no longer with the group. I’m not complaining; I’m sure they’re running out of new videos to release. It’s always a pleasure.

The reason they are appearing here is because we have now made these videos available across all digital platforms so that, for example, Apple Music subscribers can view them on the iTunes platform. We hope this will increase the amount of viewers who are able to enjoy them.
Generally this is a work for full choir and a quartet of soloists performed from a distance. I think they’re emulated this effect by having half of the group face away from the recording device! 🙂
Benjamin Britten was only sixteen when he wrote this mini-masterpiece.
Praised be God Most High who has given such gifts to men.
Britten seemingly crafts his harmonies out of glass. They are so beautiful, clear, and crisp. It doesn't even feel of this world.
