I think till 2021 it was not that hard to get this scholarship as not a lot of people knew about this, all you need to do was fulfil all the eligibility criteria and submit the documents properly but now the competition is too hard I just read in an article that if a student is applying for masters they should have more than 90% in their graduation.

NO the criteria is still same u have to score 80% or more.
@@Arjusingh26 I am not talking about the criteria I am talking about demand and competition. Imagine 20 students applying after fulfilling basic criteria but 10 students scored 90% while 10 scored 80%, who will be going to get the preference?
@@garimaduralya410marks don't get the preference except in India.😂... They will select you on Personal Statement+LOR +extracurriculars (optional ). ; For UG student & + Reaseach plan + work experience for students persuing masters
Competition for the gks scholarship has been increased from recent years..i think i have to apply through other scholarship since everyone is applying from gks.
If the document has both languages i.e. English and Hindi then what to do?

This is very kind of you to share all your experiences and solutions to the loopholes. Could you please elaborate that What you said is that to take colour copy and get apostille on that copy... But in embassy track we have to submit 4 allotment of each pack of documents than I have to take the apostille stamp on each 4 copy of each documents? Like 4 copy of apostilled brith certificate!???
Btw I'm currently in my fourth year so what to submit for degree certificate if I wanna apply for this year GKS? Also are 6 semester marks sufficient for transcripts?

I am applying for gks university track whose deadline is 12th April 2024 and my apostille documents have not come yet hence I was thinking to send the application ackee by tomorrow and when the appostille documents will come I will post it as soon as possible will it be acceptable

So I wish to ask you that with 64 percentile in Msc, am i eligible for GKS even though I know that the criteria is 80% or one should comes under top 20 students of your class but if that doesn't meet still can I apply? Is there any chances of selection?
My major concern is that my time and money must not get waste. Also if there is any suggestion regarding any other fully funded scholarship/college for PhD in microbiology please let me know.

Your NEET score might not be a great help, but still you can write about it in your PS and SOP. Your board's marks are important,

May I know where and how did you get the apostille services? It's the police clearance certificate right? Do PCC apostille documents are considered in GKS?

@@avilashaprasad9717 no, i watched a video of a gks scholar and she mentioned that she didn't submit the birth certificate and only submitted the passport copy so it could be the reason for her not getting selected in gks even in round 1 so she highly preferred the birth certificate actually

First take a colour Xerox of your original document and Apostile that…for other 3 sets, just take 3 Xerox of the Apostile

@@bthecat_9121 ikr and like the last date to give the marksheet is Feb and board's are starting in Feb so... But the thing is that the UG document submission will start in September and the Indian colleges will already start in aug.... So idk if i should take risk and don't take admission in the Indian college and apply for the scholarship and if i don't make it then i will have to apply in 2024 for Indian colleges.. and I'd have a one year unnecessary gap
@@pooh133 i believe that the possible gap can be used in self development, like you can try to learn a new language in that or you can do any course, I'm also unsure when to apply because honestly i don't have any problem in gap but i just hope that my parents don't misunderstand that I'm done with studies :')

hello di i was having a doubt that in gks scholarship we can apply for any courses like i want to become a data analyst so will they will apply for any uni for a data analyst and i was having a one more doubt that after apostilling all the documents where we have to send those documents ??? i want to apply for undergraduate
Check if the language that your course would be taught in will be English. If you're doing embassy track you'd submit to the Korean embassy in your country but if you're doing university track then you'd send it by post to the university you choose. Hope this helps

But the track are free of cost, the only money you will need is to Apostile the documents
