So you stayed in Pasacap. Such great views there. I love the Mayan nose hike also. There is so much more to do in San Marcos and in Tzununa. I hope you felt the magic of the lake. That is what draws many of us immigrants here. I have been coming for 18 years and always find more to do. Oh the list I could give you of fun and unique things to do on the lake. Well, here is one, if you go to Santiago Atitlan you can get guided tours into the jungle to see the Quetsals, the most beautiful birds. Enjoy Guatemala!

I called them "All Terrain" people, because they adapt and take everything with a great attitude. If you're still in "Guate", i hope you enjoy every place and moment of your stay. What a beautiful couple you are. (The dog seems cool, too).

Lake Atitlan is one of my favorite places in Guate. It’s so peaceful and refreshing. The beauty just pours from everywhere. Best time of the year to visit the lake is January. I remember when I was a kid it was easy to get there now it takes way more time to get there. Looks to me you’re enjoying the country like champs. You guys look so happy.

Awesome!! It was an adjustment for Evie and us to have her in this part of the world, but it has been so rewarding in many ways. The tricky part was finding safe places to let her run around and be her playful self as the country isn't really set up for having your pet out and about. However, she is allowed to be in way more places than we can bring her in Canada, which was amazing!
If you guys are still here in Guatemala, I can help you getting a tour to hike a volcano next to an active volcano... or hike to that active volcano. The experience is beautiful! Glad you liked my country
