Here's what I did to keep them from fall over..1st dill a hole in the center of each pot then take rebarb (I used the full length) hammer in the ground about a foot then put pot over Barb and stack up .. I did 6 pots high.. blessings 💞
That's awesome! I did see a lot of people do that to strengthen their planters. I always wondered if it broke more than you wanted while trying to make the initial hole
Greetings from my channel to yours!! I purchased a bunch of the dollar tree stackables last year and never used them. I need to pull them out and stack them and get to planting something!!! Thanks for sharing Dom!! Have a BLESSED Day!!!
Great job, I really like your attitude and that you are putting in the hard work at the start, your Garden is starting to look fantastic, Every $worth of food you grow is like Saving $2 because you didn’t spend the dollar in the first place to get food. Money dose Grow on Trees, looking heaps forward to seeing you Food Forest fully up and going.❤😎👍👍👍
Hey beautiful... I just started without gloves and it felt GREAT....lol...I forgot to label a few... and something is sprouting... I am excited to be educated and accept my harvest
New to the channel and what made me subscribe were the use of the stackables and strawberry and the bush beans. W will follow you. Thank you for you great teaching and speaking skills.
Hi beautiful Queen, thank you for sharing your journey. I am a beginner and learning as much as I can before I get started. I ended up catching the greenstalk Mother's Day sale this past Monday and purchased both the original and the leaf one in Evergreen. I can't wait to get started when they arrive. Just subscribed:) Continue to stay safe, healthy, and blessed!
How did your tomatoes and peppers do in the stackable planters? What variety of tomatoes and peppers did you use? Thank you for sharing your journey with the stackable planters. This is my first year trying them.
I didn't move them around because the sun went directly across them. I would imagine depending on the direction of the sun and placement of the containers you would need to worry about not enough sun
These were great if I remembered to water them, haha, and for the price. Now they make them wayyyy smaller, and I wouldn't buy them because of the size. Also, compared to the greenstalk the plastic is obviously thinner, you have to water each section as opposed to just watering the top, you can't stack them too high or they'll fall over which happened a bunch to me. Overall on a budget and at the time it worked
I love seeing the dirt under your fingernails. A girl after my own heart. I love playing in the dirt in my garden.
Yesss

Oh cool, super close
I am revisiting this video. I'm going to plant out my dollar tree stackers and I remembered that you had a video on them.
That's awesome! What will you be planting in yours?
@@faithfamilyhomestead I wanted to see what you planted. I don't have strawberries. So I think some kind of beans.
I have herbs, bush beans, bush cucumber and strawberries
@@faithfamilyhomestead Ou ... bush cucumber sounds interesting! I'll look for that
I found Spacemaster Cucumbers in my stash! That's what I'm planting!
My son attends coastal Carolina Freshman. Great job busy lady

I don't remember which varieties I used, but this year, I'm using dwarf tomatoes that don't get bigger than 2 ft
Could you do onions and beets and spinach in them. I found my pots at the store and now I'm wishing I had bought more
I didn't try root veggies in them. I'd say you probably could only fit one though.
Awesome! Where did you get the strawberries?
Johnny's seeds
If all the seeds come up will you take some out? I would love to see a follow up.
No, I have left them all in!
Do you need to worry about one corner of a lower tier not getting enough light? Or do you move them around enough that it doesn't matter?
Thanks!
I didn't move them around because the sun went directly across them. I would imagine depending on the direction of the sun and placement of the containers you would need to worry about not enough sun
What do you think about these containers versus the Green Stalk planters?

I’ve been trying to find them containers at the online Dollar Tree but they’re not available😩
That's so sad!
I just bought some today in Pooler, Georgia
