Sadly, series/season 10 was filmed this past year (2022) and is the finale series for the show-so, they’ve wrapped up the show for all time. I hope to purchase the entire series once all 10 have been produced. Have loved Doc Martin and will miss it in years to come.
Doc Martin is griping serial. Dr. is always on the run to save lives His attitude towards the patients and public overcomes his successful diogonise of the problems of the patients. I really liked the serial.
Won´t say that every situation ends happily. The season ending scene where Martin and Louisa sits in the taxi, kissing, and the Doc tells Louisa she has bad breath... :)

Klunes apparently spends a lot of time playing with the dog during breaks, so it is easy to understand why the dog is so affectionate around him. I understand he is a real dog lover - unlike the doc.
I LOVE Doc Martin and everyone on the show, and I love Buddy! Cracked me up when he ran off with the toy "suspect" when Penhale was trying to train him! I will be visiting Port Wenn (Port Isaac) May 2021. So looking forward to it, and I'm going to pretend all the characters are there!

I thought it was interesting during an interview with Martin doesn't actually yell at the dog he simply mouths the words and goes back with voice over later so not to upset or confuse the dog.
THAT is very interesting. As MC is known for his love of animals, I thought it would be very hard for him to actually yell angrily at the dog, and scare him.
I want to see the footage from the end of series doco showing all the dogs in their cages looking bored. Then martin walks up and they lose their minds, it's so cute.

Was Gremlin the same dog that lived in the old junker in from of Daisy and Onslow's house on Keeping Up Appearances? They look so much alike! I loved how that dog would scare the heck of of Hyacinth and he reminded me of my late beloved terrier Lucy.
How does Dodger know when Martin Clunes is just acting when being mean to “Buddy,” and when Martin is truly being kind to Dodger away from the camera? It’s always concerned me to think the dogs could get confused and be emotionally screwed up as a result.
In the show, Clunes is pretending to yell at dogs when in reality, he is lip synching and his voice is added later. That's why none of the dogs heed his verbal ire because it isn't there.

I have a dog who looks exactly like Buddy, but is a bit larger, I wish I could figure out how to post his photo. I had DNA test done and was told 1/4 pitbull 1/4 Chihuahua and the rest unknown, lolol
I have to say that the S7E5 Doc Martin where he was going to kill the dog just because he annoyed him was really disturbing. That crossed the line from Doc Martin being merely socially inept to Doc Martin being an evil fucking prick. I didn't like that story line tack at all.
