That's the main point of this life. God created us in this life as a test for us. He didn't create us to just eat, sleep and enjoy this life and then die without any goal. *Shamsi you should answer the question about "how do you know who are the real prophets?" by explaining they could do miracles. Miracles was the sign they are prophets, it was the proof they used to show they are a real prophet.*
Forgive me if I am wrong the biggest miracle is Quran because it is preserved and can not be refuted where as the miracles can be challenged by those who did not see with their own eyes or dismissed as magic or trickery. They are much harder to prove. The Quran itself trumps even splitting of the moon because as you are aware those who did not see it happen with their own eyes will not believe or dismiss it as lies or simple trickery or as magic to fool people.
