An over-compounded dc generator i-s supplying 800 A at full load on 500 V. The resistance of each conductor is 0.02 ohm. The percentage of compounding is? Please give ans with formula
Amazing. Please explain how the load current is increasing? How have you assumed that if load current increases then armature current increases and so on. Because load current is produced due to armature current.
Remember this is a generator..the increase in load current means a demand of load which means a decrease in resistance of load..so the armature current would have to increase to give the demand load current...so it is not an assumption that load current increases...
A load for a compound generator is located one mile from the generator. The voltage at the load is to maintain as load is increased. Which compound generator is used? a) flat b) over c) under d) differential Can someone help me with this question please
Well, since the number of windings on the field are more than the armature so an increase in Ia would lead in an increase of field flux more than the increase of armature flux; net flux increases
You are the only lecturer that explains If* is for theoretical purposes, but is not factually correct. I swear to god I love u.
Thanku so much sir for this selfless service❤️
👍👍
Sir as DC shunt generator, are the compound generators Vt also a double valued function?
Excellent sir

thank you, great way of explaining :)
What is the no load characteristics curve for cumulative compound Gen.
How can we write total mmf = Nf × If*....if it is toatl mmf then why only Nf why not Nse.??

Can someone help me with this question please
Flat compound may be to maintain constant voltage
If Ia is increasing then Ia(Ra+Rse) will also increase,A.R increases, flux weakening increases, flux reduces hence Ea reduces...
What abt this??👆
