Thanks for the sharing Ethan! I would recommend also sharing a bit your insight on what resistance stopped you from doing limb isolation during the match, so we know better how to apply your limb isolation technique given knowledgeable resistance. Thanks for the content again and congrats on your win!
I need a new guy to binge watch rolling footage now that Craig has stopped. Who can I watch?! No spazzes, no heavyweights. Nicky Ryan is good but he doesn’t have the entertaining trickster element of Craig, he’s more of a technician.
It's like a variation of the stockade. There's so many options and sequences from it if you get good with it, and most don't train or work with it because it comes more from catch wrestling from what I understand and not BJJ origin. It has even more potential in MMA where it can be used for effective pinning and control while keeping one of your arms free for strikes, like a mounted crucifix but with more powerful strikes
@@BreathEmpowerment oh fuck yeah stockade is a great name for it, I love using it to set up gift wrap back takes, triangles, and rear triangles from mount. I'll also do some funky shoulder locks from there with both arms stretched high above and behind their head
@@mraBJJ33I bet your training partners love all that 😂 Yeah the traditional stockade is from side control but a lot of the core principle is the same. The ability to control both their arms with one of yours or one arm and leg gives such an advantage! So many possibilities at that point 👍🏼 On a side note I'm a breathwork coach and decided to also offer a coaching program specifically for BJJ/MMA athletes. Is that something you'd be interested in?
There's only 40 comments, so I know you'll see this. Restock the keep Jiu Jitsu Gay rash guards. Been waiting for months. You guys are way more gay than this, don't let us down.
I'd say the mma guy wanted the training and gets see if he should spending more time on his ground game and get feel the pressure of being outclassed. Gets paid to show, low risk quick money outside there normal contracts
“he doesn’t really know what he’s doing”😂😂😂
🤣🤣
Gordon sneak dissing on commentary was hilarious during this match lmao
Yesss Big Congrats on the win Ethan!!
I love these breakdowns. Please do another one after your match with Corbre.

Great tip on moving lower half of body to help isolate and go for submissions, I will try this
Congrats on the win and love.the video. Been watching some of your guard passing videos and started trying it out. Really love it thus far❤
Great passing and mounting technique 🔥
I remember you teaching this in a seminar like 6 years ago!
Nice video. Essentially a little tutorial. Great match, too!
Fire breakdown! Congrats on your win.

Wow guy that does bjj all day everyday beat an mma fighter at bjj mind blown 😳
This is what B-Team is all about. Massive win.
The MMA guy is a grappler within MMA anyway. Definitely his strength.

If you were a surgeon and someone offered you 10k to put on a bandaid would you do it?
@@douglasgreene9340 I mean, he got RNC'd in 2 of his last 3 fights so I don't think there was any question he needs to improve there
