Me too, plus she’s cute as hell, too!!
Great !! Im a spanish teacher and will work with this video in the class today... thanks / muchas gracias
Muchísimas gracias, Ana. I have tutored over 1,500 people in college and graduate school and received a full scholarship for doing so. I never expected to receive anything, I tutored because I love to teach, like you so eloquently wrote about yourself in the above description. Your lessons are amazing. You present the material in a fun and intuitive manner which makes comprehension and rent ion of the material almost effortless. I have explored hundreds of Spanish resources - from books to courses and videos. You have found and employed what all of the others could not - that magical and intuitive "glue" that make the language come alive and live on in your memory, thus each lesson provides a strong and intuitive foundation for whatever comes next. As others have already noted, you are a very special teacher - Funny, smart and professionally excellent. Your love of teaching Spanish shines through every lesson. Your viewers actually "learn" and not have to memorize some cold, stale book knowledge. You bring the Spanish language to life! I'm learning more from your lessons than all of the other resources combined.
Ana is a superb teacher.
She's so funny and cute. Haha.
Indeed; makes it so much more fun to learn Spanish :D

I'm so glad you love to talk because you teach really good. I have always wondered why we use "a mí me gusta" indirect non obligated pronoun . No one on UA-cam ever explained it. You explain things so well. Thank you. Learning Spanish has become my hobby and it fun.
Excellent teaching I like it❤

I wish I had teacher like u in school..specially in physics
I am currently taking college Elementary Spanish with En Linea - Vista Higher Learning. Was falling behind because of the lack of lecture until I found your video's on You tube. Great energy and excellent explanation! Muchas gracias
Hi Anna, I liked the lesson.
When I initially learnt the verb Gustar, instead of meaning 'to like', I understood it to mean: 'to please, be pleasing'.
Therefore instead of using a Subject Pronoun, (Yo), one would use an Indirect Object Pronoun (Me) meaning 'to me'.
e.g. Me gusta el libro = The book is pleasing to me (= I like the book)
Me gustan los libros = The books are pleasing to me (= I like the books)
The beginning of the video may confuse new students regarding the use of 'Me' instead of 'Yo'.
I will be learning from your many other informative videos. Many thanks.
Bien hecho....
Just learning this, but that seems correct to me, in English it's saying the same thing with a passive voice. I wonder if this isn't some sort of adaptation by Latin to aboriginal speakers in Spain who kept some earlier syntax while using Latin - soon to become Spanish words.
Same! That’s how I learned it in Spanish class.
My new favorite Spanish course on UA-cam! Or, mi favorito nuevo curso de español en UA-cam!

You teach so clearly
Me gusta mucho este clase. ¡Muchas gracias!
This is one of the things I was struggling with and you've made it so clear, MUCHAS GRACIAS ANA! But I have one thing - in the video you said 'snakes' was las víboras but I thought it was las serpientes
They both are synonyms and are interchangeable words, but the most usual word is Serpiente.
Both terms are common in México, using either one is a matter of a local preference. I think maybe the term "víbora" is just what people use more frequently wherever she is from in Mexico. I live in the state of Sonora, and although we use both, the term víbora is more common here (example: we would never call a rattlesnake "SERPIENTE de cascabel", over here would call it "VÍBORA de cascabel".
te quierooo mucho. muchas gracias para ayudarme con mi espanoles clases . me gustan sus clases muchísima ❤❤❤❤❤.
Sonrío y reír y aprender al mismo tiempo, perfecto! gracias anna:-)
Wow, I have found an excellent teacher of Spanish. I try to learn Spanish because my local dialect is composed of some Spanish words one of these is the counting numbers, verdura, chocolate and much more. thank you so much. from Phil.
Me gusta aprender español con Ana, eres mi profesor favorita 😘😍😍
profesor*a* favorita 😀
My favorite teacher ! Fun learning!!
To practice I recommend you this Manu Chao's song called "me gustas tú"
I've been listening to it many times lately
You never fail me, always have the best explanations and exactly what I need. Thank you for your content ❤️🤟🏽
Fun fact! The English verb "to like" used to function just like the spanish "gustar" a few hundred years ago, so when you said "I like her" means "she likes me" in today's English. In Shakespeare you can see the old use in cases like "The music likes me not" to mean "I don't like the music." Hopefully that helps people grasp the concept.

A VERY helpful lesson for me. Thank you very much!

Gustar is such a useful verb to know! I love teaching it in class.
I have been trying to improve my Spanish for years. I subscribed to you years ago but wasnt determined as I am now. I am so glad I found your videos they explain everything so well! I may remember how to use something but not the why and you explain is it so perfectly. Muchas gracias por todo!
This lesson is very nice - great explanations and easy to follow. The way it´s taught, the language just "stucks" and it is very easy to memorize those expressions and words. Thank you for Your enthusiastic style of teaching, Ana!

You're a great teacher! Thanks!

Gracias por su ayuda , a mi me gusta aprender español de america latina.
You're a very good teacher, thank you for this lesson.

yeah
Nice video. "Me gusta" actually means "I like" or "It is pleasing to me" and the infinitive "gustar" means "to like"
I’d think “me gusta” as “it pleases me” and “me gustan” as “they please me”. What you like please(s) you. The object(s) liked become(s) the subject in Spanish and the liker(s) become the object. 😊✌️
Your really a great teacher.
I love the energy of this teacher! Me gusta la energia! Great Job!
Just love your take on the Spanish vosotros
Usted es me favorita professora, you are my favorite teacher. Me primera lingua es Ingles
Your personality is life
Gracias, Anna! Todavia me encantan tus clases. Eres una maestra excelente.
I love your language and lecture.
If all my teachers had been like you, Ana, I would have excelled in school! Thank you for your videos, I really enjoy them.
I'm attending a course at an academy in Cardiff, Wales - just one hour a week. I really like my course, and my profesora is great; but one hour a week is not much for me because at my age (I'm not that old really), I find it difficult to retain a lot of the information that goes into a one hour lesson. I'm in my sixth week, only six more one hour sessions to go. My homework this week is GUSTAR. Your online lessons help me a lot!
Me gustan mucho sus lecciones Ana. !Muchisimas gracias por la oportunidad!
It makes me happy to see you!! The news is so grim. I'm so happy that a wonderful person like you has these videos on here!! Thank you Ana.
I've been teaching myself Spanish by watching UA-cam videos and I gotta say that yours are the best!! :D
I love your lessons. Muchos gracias!
It helped me to understand using the phrase: X IS PLEASING TO ME for "I like X". (Me gusta X):
hi spfl-naranja
sAna ol
sana all ( keecia ni )
shor ba
meow meow
me gustan las casas
Por favor, que hagas lecciones más avanzadas. Gracias. (He leído todas lecciones Butterfly hasta ahora.)
+Rick Ricardito Reiter Claro que sí :)
Fantastic channel! I can't break away from my monitor! Great respect for you!
+Piotr Maz :)
+Butterfly Spanish profesora, es correcto decir 'me gustas' ?? as I like you? I thought verb gustar was not conjugated and only used in the third person, can you explain that, please?
+Piotr Maz Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else wants to discover fastest way to learn to speak spanish try Alkarno Spanish Alchemist (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my brother in law got amazing success with it.
I love your lessons!! Can you do a medical video such as how to communicate with a Spanish-speaking patient in a hospital or doctor's office setting? I'm having problems communicating with my patients who speak Spanish and would like to speak with them without having to call in a translator. ¡Muchos gracias, Ana!
i get really confused learning the word and their opposites.
3:18 I found this reaction so cute, as well as when she was saying don't use Yo gusta. Awesome lesson. :)
I love this video! Its simple, and my mom and I had a good laugh watching it. Keep up the good work!
maravillosa maestra
¡Gracias, Ana! Ahora estudio (algo,nada,alguien,nadie,alguno,ninguno).
¿Puedes hacer un video sobre eso?
Y una mas pregunta.
¿Me gustaría = I would like?
Konstantsin Mazanik Yes I would like. Would is the ía in Spanish :0
Finally, I get! You are the best, maestra.
Aquí viendo como aprender mi idioma 😂😂
Lol. no se como llegué aquí. Estaba viendo un documental de animales.
Me gustó el video y me fascinó la maestra! :)
jajaja yo estoy igual ... pero solo veo los comentarios para aprender ingles xD :3
Y ej mui complicado repasar mi idioma
Me too
I have a quiz on the verb "gustar" tomorrow, and this was so helpful. Thank you!
Y Spanish is so complicated.sometimes uses 's' for plural and sometimes 'n' at the end of word.😢😢😢
Gustaron , Tomaron , Crearon , verbs in Plural but talking about WE , cosas , chocolates , flores , is reffering about objects , greetins mi amigo !
That's because your first language doesn't come from latin. Be patience and keep practicing. Buena suerte! :)
Malina Cara thanks for the encouragement ✌️️
Milena oliveira thanks for ur advice✌️️
ullises777 thanks mate
