We lost our Wheaten Ollie two months ago. They are great dogs! It was a great 13 years with him.
We could not bear life without a Wheaten. We lost our third Wheaten George one month ago and now we are on our fourth called Ted
He is ten months old and was re-homed with us. He is such a character. We’ve had Wheatens for thirty years now and love the breed. They are mad as hatters and really suit our personality and life style. Your Molly is beautiful with a cracking coat and such fun to watch. Thank you.
So cute - reminds me so much of my Lucy - she lived 12 wonderful years and finally had to put her down the day before her 13th birthday. She was all joy - loved to run, play with sticks and chase balls - and make me laugh. ENJOY HER!!!
Wheatens are the BEST! My 14 year old died just before Christmas 2016, but he lived in three different countries with me, got me through divorce and was best friends with my cat (after me of course). They want to please, learn unlimited tricks and are incredibly loyal and affectionate. So Happy for you and Molly!!!
My wheaten Cody just recently passed at 14 last month. He wasn’t great with people he didn’t know, but he played well with other dogs and he adored my family and we adored him. I’m 20 now and had him since I was 6, I still miss him a lot. I still love the breed and want to get another dog in the future and I’m leaning towards another wheaten just because I love the breed so much. This time around, I just know that I would have to get intensive training with my puppy with a professional trainer
We just lost our 2 year old wheaten unexpectedly and are heartbroken. That said, this video made us feel a lot better. They are all cute and full of love and personality. Thanks for posting.
Just saw your video, we’re on our 3rd Wheaton, Gracie. She is 3, and is so loving, kind, affectionate. She has two senior parents so she gets a lot of love but she still gives more then we could possibly give her. Enjoy your sweet girl.....it looks like she hit the jack pot with your family!!!!

Adorable! Just like my wheaten terrier we got 2 yrs ago, THEY GROW UP SO FAST, ITS SAD.. they are the BEST dogs on the planet. Love my wheatie forever his name is Teddy and i hang out with him everyday after school and words cannot explain how much i love my dog. Love at first sight🥰🥰

Great video. Our 13 year old Wire Fox Terrier passed in April. We loved our girl and the breed. I would love another Wire but I think my wife wants to try another Terrier variant. My cousin has a Wheaton and he's a great dog. I've been checking out Wheaton's. They appear to be very good with other dogs and kids, we have grand kiddies. Thanks again for your video.

Awesome video. I got my wheatie Ivan (cuz he's Ivan the terrier) at 9 months from the Chicago Animal Care and Control. It was really cool to see what I missed, but they are kinda puppies for life. I'm nuts about these dogs now. Molly is adorable...what a character... she's just like my guy. We go everywhere with him and do everything with him. They're just great all-around dogs and they steal your heart from day one. Thanks for posting that!
This is an amazing breed of dog. Extremely affectionate and friendly. Also so adorable. The perfect dog. My folks have one. I want one for myself as well. =)

We have an 8 year old female Wheaten named Darby. Molly reminds me so much of Darby, Her love of water and snow How scrawny she looks wet. Her love of sprinklers and how she bites at the water. its amazing they could be twins. The greeting she gives everybody. Hybrids like the Labor-doodle strive to achieve Wheatenhood. Our girl is so well behaved we can walk her off leash and I frequently take her on bike rides and can get her to lead when its cold enough. Ours love the cold. Its hard for us to imagine a more perfect breed.

Should always get pets in sets of two, unless you can guarantee someone is at home with the pet all the time, dogs are social + pack animals.

So we have a 10 month mini whoodle (wheaten / poodle mix). she is mostly wheaten and has many characteristics like Molly.
question is I hear how loving and affectionate they are after 1.5 years. our is very very independent. does this change and is this typical for the wheaten? we love her no matter what.

Why is the tail so short. My wheaten has a gorgeous long tail. Omg, they all have short tails? Is docking not illegal in the states?

No onions -bad for the liver - and where is her tail? :(
MrBuntudor soft coated wheaten terriers are born with shorter tails, it's a common trait for terriers
MrBuntudor actually it is very common for Wheaton terriers and terriers in general to have shorter tails and to get them cut short as they are hunting dogs

Some dog breeders cut them when the dog is young :(
I have a wheaten terrier and he got his tail cut before we bought him and its sad :(
It's part of the breed standard in the US to dock tails, the AKC considers it a fault in the show ring to be undocked, until this is changed in the breed standard all reputable breeders will continue to dock. (It's a big red flag/sign of a disreputable or backyard breeder to not dock wheatens here in the US)
sweet video but I am afraid your dog does not look like pure wheaten. Its more like a cross bread. The ears says a lot... not wheaten. But the behaviour is wheaten. Like it.
