There's two kinds of people. You love wildwood or you've never been. The Morey's keep the magic alive on their piers and this ride is one of the best flumes period. Two long elevated sections with views of the entire pier, water park, wildwood beach and the ocean, each segment punctuated with nice dramatic drops into the heart of Surfside pier, and broken up by a fun under the Boardwalk themed section. The music was obviously removed for copyright reasons and at least we can enjoy the sounds of the rest of this great flume ride. Long live zoom phloom!
That part of the ride where it goes under the boardwalk is kind of creepy! But it’s very clever how they incorporated that into the ride to make the ride longer than it probably would have been. Great video!
I have a beach house in wildwood and coming to the boardwalk happens at least once a week, especially when entertaining guests. The Log Flume is consistently an awesome water ride, but even better at night because under the boardwalk there were lights and ride ushers who pushed your boat!! 10/10!
That looks like so much fun, I can't wait to go to wildwood n.j this weekend. Yeah, you heard me! I'm going on a trip to wildwood n.j. This weekend. And I can't wait!
WOW! Too cool! I bet it's been close to thirty years since I've been to Wildwood! I have a lot of great memories of the boardwalk! Thanks for posting this!
I grew up riding this and all of Wildwood's rides. After the 2nd ride up to the top; I remember this ride would beat you the hell up on a few turns. There was one turn that would almost always splash water right in my lap. Lol good times!
I used to ride this every summer when I lived in Jersey. I hated log flumes so on that second drop at 5 minutes, I would be nearly at tears as we looked at the guy in the booth and went over. Now I live in Arizona and I miss water...
I grew up and hour away from Wildwood.I live in Florida now for 30 years. It looks like the same flume I rode back in the eighties but it was a horror theme instead of a beach one in those days.I along enjoyed the Alfred Hitchcock old car ride through spook house.
That is the longest flume ride I ever saw. We missed it this year when we only had time to visit one pier. Now I have more reason to go back next summer.
this log flume is the shit. i've been on a lot of log flume's. and let me say, this one's definitely one of the best. the one in ocean city , gives you whiplash.
@daddytech Yeah Buddy!! I had to repost it because it had copyrighted music in the background. It had 12,000 views, so I dubbed over the music so I could put ads on it!!☺
That's one of the most interesting log flume rides I have ever seen. Very long ride compared to any I have been on, tunnels and a double chute? ☛ CooL!!
@mbyr31 It is a repost!! I had to dub over some copyrighted music in the background so I could put ads on it!! it was pretty popular, had 12,000 views in 6 months. Thanks for watching it again!!☺
i went on this twice back in 2017, and even though the drops were a little too steep for me at the time, it's still really fun. i also wanted to go on again last year, but they had to close it before i was able to get on because of an incoming storm (which i don't blame them for that, you gotta stay safe so you don't potentially die). hopefully this year i'm able to go on again, but if i can't for whatever reason (especially if we're still stuck in quarantine), there's always next year. update: i got back from the boardwalk tonight and this was the first thing i rode!! the drops were still a little too steep for me, but i still had fun!
This year is gonna be my second year ever going to wildwood, i went last year for the first time. I cant wait to go this year, this ride is fucking awesome!! SUMMA 12
I WENT ON THIS AND I GO IN THE SUMMER EVERY YEAR!!! SO MUCH FUCKING FUN!!! I love it, the first time that we went on it, we didn't know that there was two drops...
Don't know what the individual rides cost!! We usually buy a wrist band for about $100 a day!! You can ride anything you want as many times as you want!☺
omg i want on that and when i went down the hill my heart stoped and there is no seet belts btw but i was pretty fun if u get a changes to go on it go on it 👌👌
IDK why this was recommended to me, but it's been over 20yrs since I've been on that thing, as I moved out of state over a decade ago and hadn't been down in quite awhile even before I left....so I'm going to watch it and pretend.....next up, Clementon Park and their flume (if it's still active, I just searched, I just found out they shut down and completely demolished The Jack Rabbit roller coaster that was there, potentially the oldest wooden roller coaster that was in America that I rode too many times, and they tore ut down 😖)
This log ride does really remind me of the log flume in Kennywood. An amusement par in PA. both rides have a similar layout. I would however give kennywood a higher rating if you are not familiar with kennywood I would advise you tubing videos aloft that and comparing it yourself.

WOW! Too cool! I bet it's been close to thirty years since I've been to Wildwood! I have a lot of great memories of the boardwalk! Thanks for posting this!
This has to be an old school water log ride. It reminds me of the log ride at Elitch Gardens in Wheatridge Colorado back in the 1980's.
I love the log flume

I grew up riding this and all of Wildwood's rides. After the 2nd ride up to the top; I remember this ride would beat you the hell up on a few turns. There was one turn that would almost always splash water right in my lap. Lol good times!

Wildwood is boss. They got awesome beach, awesome rides, and a great atmosphere.
Would love to go here one day. It looks like there's some fun rides to ride at both parks.
I grew up and hour away from Wildwood.I live in Florida now for 30 years. It looks like the same flume I rode back in the eighties but it was a horror theme instead of a beach one in those days.I along enjoyed the Alfred Hitchcock old car ride through spook house.

This log ride does really remind me of the log flume in Kennywood. An amusement par in PA. both rides have a similar layout. I would however give kennywood a higher rating if you are not familiar with kennywood I would advise you tubing videos aloft that and comparing it yourself.
