You CAN rotate asymmetrical tires side to side. Staggering fitment (rear tires wider than front) that is your only option. Directional tires can only be rotated front to rear (same side) therefore if your rear tires are wider than front, you would not be able to rotate direction tires as the wider tires need to stay on the rear.
