Absolutely brilliant training for anyone looking to understand SQL and working with phpmyadmin - literally from the ground up. I was hoping to understand some ‘Design’ concepts though (not just the ‘how’ but the ‘why’). E.g. what’s the logic in making the foreign keys present in the particular tables, entity relationship diagrams, crow’s foot etc.
Thank you for this tutorial. Seems very clear explanation. I just still need more practice on DB and relations and what i missed in this video is visual DB design and more examples.
Dear Brad, I am new in practicing programming and I really love your videos: relevance, good structure, contextualized (you always provide a nice cover of the broader industry context )...I CAN'T STOP WATCHING...but I also have some project to implement. I hope you can always get the codes for review and further understanding...
I just subscribed...I am a telecoms engineering background, living in Sweden and for some reason, trying to convert into Software development..."A long walk to Success" would say my hero Mandela! :) But, I also have an Information Systems qualification from University of LIVERPOOL...so the culture and the practices may be faster than I believe.

Great !!! Finally found an instructor here who does not have a distracting, annoying, intrusive accent (to me, anyway). No offense India, your country is lovely, but that freaking accent is so distracting for technical content.

at 50:04 will it be a good idea to auto_increment the order number and also use it as a primary key since it has the exact same value as the id
