I think the thing that affects visibility the most is how the game makes the bright-blue things go ultra bright. Granted, I had a bad night's sleep today so it's more a "me problem" than anything, but the lasers bothered my eyes a little bit. And I should also see an eye doctor when this whole quarantine situation subsides. Love your work tho
You might be doing it wrong... This is how I go to seep at night. Listening to retromation’s commentary puts me to sleep by about the 40-45 minute mark. It’s wonderful! Also, I’m sure he enjoys the watch time on youtube 😂 Edit: just don’t forget to turn off UA-cam’s auto play next video option. I’ve woken up to some wacky stuff 🤦♂️
I think the trouble with Hal's lasers is that the targeting beams are thinner than the actual shots, blending what is safe and what is not. Edit: Also, what about bringing the player character to the front layer (with the enemy bullets) so they can no longer get lost amongst the shots and the player would always know their location.

I did a run with Saya a few days ago with Peter as one of my pets. I experimented with the moldy hearts because I already had 5 heart containers and I did in fact gain a sixth heart container from one of his moldy hearts.
I was thinking that exact same thing. Might have possible cheese potential after getting Howard reactor and a bunch of red heart containers. Spartan, and berserker (maybe I’m thinking of another item) would be great that way. 8 shields +1 hit from half a red heart should be plenty of health for bosses once you figure in the DPM boosts of those items. Or there might be a max cap like on everything else 🤷♂️
53:30 perhaps your guns invincibility would come in handy for those pickups that aren’t quite worth going into the spikes for? And I’m in no way an expert. I just enjoy listening to your videos as I go to sleep :)
I got soul bringer on the second floor or whatever, it's my first run like, ever. Took down the first boss in 20 seconds and I was wondering why, will, I see now.

When you fire laser weapons, the whole duration of the laser is only 1 'shot', so you just have to tap a bunch for those items that give chance of special bullet like when you wanted your electric bullet
I'm conflicted, i love the series and the game looks good and most reviews are good. But so many recent reviews are saying its repetitive and not worth buying and giving 1-2 stars. Should i get it?
Why does the grenade counter say X/X instead of just X. I mean, there's no cap on grenades and the /X is always the same as the X/.. Makes no sense at all. Or am I missing something?

If you had any items that reacted on 'low health', that zen room could be a way to knock down your red hp, behind a safety wall of shields.
