I have to say that I have experienced most of what you've mentioned and my life journey definitely has a karmic/fated theme, which took an extremely mystic turn at age 38 and after rahu's maturity at 42. It is certainly a powerful spiritual energy combination if Jupiter is strong and can control the negative manifestation of ego.
