This song unexpectedly became a huge hit outside korea, which does not usually happen before because the use of internet wasn't as widely used as today but this song made it. I remember hearing it in being played on mtv and even on our local radio. People were making covers here and there using their own language, the most popular one was in english and even made dance moves for this haha and it was soo funny because people were really jamming to this song not knowing this was a kpop song cause kpop wasn't received well before as it is now. People might not know what kpop is before but people know a song called Wedding dress thats how huge this song was before ♡

Thank you so much for reacting to our sun Taeyang❤ well yeah he has amazing vocal and dancing, back then he was supposed to be a rapper duo with G-Dragon, but instead he became part of BIGBANG which is a great band ofc. Wedding dress is one of his song that successfully known outside korea like globally back then. Even when no one knows what kpop is, everybody will sing and dance to it, like literally most of everybody know it haha. The one song he made for his wife is called Eyes, Nose, Lips. When they broke up, he wrote this song for her so that she will come back to him, eventually they got back together then they married for 4 yrs now and have baby boy❤ You should check out more Taeyang and BIGBANG, their live performances is a must!
I am so glad you started off reacting to Bigbang/members with english subtitles. As great as their songs are, their lyrics just bring an entirely different level to how amazing not only their music is, but them as artists.
I know that now all the world is crazy about Bts, Blackpink, etc, but i feel so lucky to enjoy the days of old kpop, with Big Bang and 2ne1 and a lot of old kpop groups we really have the Best times of high quality music in Korea, maybe not popular for the masses but that songs were so natural. They never sell his music for popularity.

You need to take a look at "Ringa Linga" by Taeyang. Lisa and other YG trainees appeared in this clip for the first time. True, you need to try very hard to find her, she appeared there 3 years before the debut of BLACKPINK.

Glad you’ve enjoyed his music! Another one I’d recommend would be Taeyang’s - Love You To Death. There isn’t a music video but the song and the way he performs it is soo good. The lyrics are just sad and to me, like in all of his songs, you can really hear the passion and emotion in it.

The piano beginning stayed as my ringtone for more than 5 years, that’s how much wedding dress was my fav song. And yes I get what u mean, this kind of song is just not made anymore. A great artist isn’t just about singing and dancing, it’s also about their art touching the hearts of many, getting goosebumps and tearing up over the melody and lyrics. That’s what his songs do to me.
Having said that, if you want to listen to something from more fun and playful from taeyang, try listening to I Need A Girl ( dance version with Eng sub) and also, Only Look At Me. He can be quite flirty and fun too in his MVs

OH he has so many songs solo. He did a collab with G-Dragon in GOOD BOY which is a banger even now, he also has Where U At which is a continuation of this storyline and was on the same album, then there is Ringa Linga which is a legendary song, and there is also a song called I'll Be There which is a cool vid with a great story! Seriously, I loved this guy WAY back when! Big Bang and 2NE1 were my intros to K-Pop and they were the kings and queens of their generation of the genre! LOVE to see ppl seeing older gen artists for the first time and learning the foundation that allowed the 3rd gen and now 4th gen artists to skyrocket from!
Taeyang started as a Rapper when he was a trainee and became the main dancer of Bigbang. To be honest when he first debuted he isn't the main vocal of the group and he's not really stable at live performances but what I admire him the most is how he keeps learning and keeps improving himself especially if you watch his performances 15 years ago and his performance 5 years ago. He has become a master of live performances after 'Eyes Nose Lips'. I'm a fan of Bigbang for more than 10 years, looking forward to his performance of 'VIBE', expecting to see how he will sing now.

So this song and MV came out in 2010, it is not connected to “Eyes, Nose, Lips”. But as you can tell Taeyang has some sentimental emotional songs. However, he does have upbeat and feel good songs too.
The timeline of Taeyang and his wife starts with his MV “1AM”. She was his love interest/ex-gf that he was trying to forget in that song. GD aka GDragon his bff for 20+ years and member of Big Bang actually introduced them in that MV shoot. The chemistry was all over the place and when Taeyang is smitten or into someone you can truly tell. In some behind the scenes clips you see the spark between and his smile was so big. Then, her picture was shown in “EYES, NOSE, LIPS” where it is true. Taeyang and Hyorin did break up and it was brutal on him. Even his friends noticed that he was just depressed and couldn’t move on. That’s when he realized that she’s THE ONE, he couldn’t lose her. They eventually work things out and got back together. Eventually getting married and now their son turned 1 this past November. ❤

He met her in his 1 AM MV set and fell in love but then they broke up and he wrote eyes, nose, lips. After that, they got back together and now happily married with a baby boy. She is his only love as stated in YG’s response to the dating scandal. The story of wedding dress was just a story. He has never been in a relationship at that time. GD even once told him how could he sang those love songs such beautifully when he was a single since birth😂

Nope. WEDDING DRESS was released YEARS BEFORE Eyes, Nose,Lips. So it has nothing to do with his break up with his ex gf now wife.
But if you react to his other song entitled 1AM, you will see his wife in the mv. It was their first interaction, I think. Not sure if he fell in love during the 1AM mv making or he was already in love with her and was so happy she gets to be the female lead on his mv or something....it's been so long, I forgot some of the details already. 😅😅😅
