I love this song a lot, but it's challenging for me to get through it due to those events. After "Last Dance", they released "Flower Road" as a present to VIP that promised to come back and asked VIPs to wait. A really famous quote within VIP is "Until Whenever", as we say it as a promise to be there for the guys until 'whenever'. Over the years we waited, VIPs kept that promise in our hearts and went on with our lives. In my own life, I graduated college, dealt with new health issues, and managed to get a dream job in a city while keeping up with rare BIGBANG news and moments. After nearly 6 years, BIGBANG finally came back with "Still Life" - which was incredibly emotional for VIPs to watch after going through the last few years. I rushed home from work with my heart pounding, clutching my chest while watching through tears. BIGBANG are a group who we will always cherish and love. While separate for now, I still hold the hope that they will reunite as BIGBANG once in a while and meet us on the flower road.
BB has not returned many times, but the quality of almost every song is as high as "last dance", but the style is different. G-dragon is the producer of BB's songs and the writer of most of the songs. At the same time, he knows the members' strengths best and knows how to arrange them. Again this just left me imagining how bigbang would be today if the scandal didn't exist. But at least after all the cruel hopeless waiting of 6 years they gave us a closure with "still life". I guess it's not what they expect and it's not what we expect things just happened. It is what it is and like this song says the world still gonna goes on without them. Being their fan since 2011 they definitely hold a special moment in my life and I'm just grateful for all the memories.

Songwriters these days make songs with the intention to make it go viral. Big Bang make songs with quality and meaning that stay evergreen. I have new kpop group faves and biases but I don’t listen to their songs as I do bigbang songs, that never left my playlist.
I think that in this song Big Bang was already announcing that they would take a long break, the incidents happened and things did not go as they wanted, maybe they took longer than people and they themselves expected, but I think they wanted to rest from the gdragon half to state. in the industry since he was 6 years old, and Taeyang since he was 11 and 12. Likewise, the others were still in high school when they started in this. In addition, they had other goals, other dreams to fulfill, I still hope for them and that they can have the peace that they deserve.

Quality-wise.. I can't think of another male group that can match Bigbang's musicality and I've been into Kpop since Rain's heyday. Yes I'm that old 😅. I am not throwing shade at any other group. I don't hate anyone. It's just that Bigbang is too good for the traditional Kpop standards.
