- Wireless backup camera! What more can I say. I can see a lot of ways this can be useful. It's tough on this Jeep because of where the license plate is on the side... but Jeeps have never been known to conforming to societal norms, right? hahaha

Looks pretty cool. As always great content. Side note I installed my seicane works great other than if I'm constantly using my phone's hotspot to it it starts to overheat and it'll freeze. Other than that though it works amazing.

I have the dv8 tire carrier and my LP is centered on it. This would be ideal as a backup camera for my Jeep!!

Definitely think a spare mounted tag would almost be a necessity though

Being off center is not awesome, bit it is still a better view to the rear than not having a backup camera so super helpful.

I’d loved to try it on my old Civic.
I added a wired backup cam on my JK and I have to say it does make certain parking way easier. I would prefer something like this be able to go to a rear view mirror or a head unit with a display just because I don't like the idea of using my phone for it. I too need to add a backup camera to my son's car, this may be worth a look.
Would still use mirrors but with an oversized spare this would be really helpful and let you know if anything was directly behind you.

Like the idea of wireless, would love to see if I can solve a few of the issues. Plate holder with 2 left side screws needs to be looked at on the JK. Looks like the owner’s manual says to press between the 2 grid lines and move then, so at least they know they need to solve this issue even if there is a current software bug. Manual also say the camera could turn off after 120 seconds to save battery
One of these will make a difference if your soft top is hard to see out of !! As far as using it to steer bad idea my best friend just got hit by someone relying on a backup cam

Great concept. Unfortunately, don’t think I can utilize with my JK as besides the license plate being offset as mentioned in the video, the OEM license plate frame uses upper and lower screws on the left and only a locator pin on the right so I don’t think the camera would be secure. However, this might prove a good deal for use on my daily driver Miata.

I really need one of these for my LJ. I think I'd like to mount it on the passenger side. I relocated my mirrors so I can run with my doors off, and cant see squat out of my passenger side mirror. My rearview mirror is nothing buy spare tire!!
Does it have night vision? That tap button, how did you add that part? Is it hard wired?
On many JK's the plate bolts through the left side of the plate. Since the mounting holes are on the top of this product, there would only be one bolt (upper left) holding it on these vehicles. Check your Jeep before buying this one.
I'd love to win one. Is the display a mirror image? Seems to me the spare should be on the opposite side of the display.
This would be good with a iPad mini for off-road use
Would be best for front for off-road since by the time you connect for rear you already moved the Jeep!
