Upon coming to without a single second of hesitation he takes on new orders to destroy the remainder of the facility they had stormed. This is confirmed because in the Spec Ops mission called “Black Frost” when you start it the callsign “Frost” appears in a bottom corner of the screen to let you know who your playing as which tells us that Frost is not only the only surviving member of Metal 0-1 but likely will become the new squad leader.
