    Fructose derived from Plant based sources have a corresponding volume of fiber-
    Apples, oranges etc.
    That's not what he's talking about.
    Table sugar is roughly 50% fuctose. High fructose corn syrup is roughly 50% fructose.
    These are the toxins he's referring to.
    And he's absolutely 100% correct.

      @@l.s9148 Emerypharma is totally right. It's the same molecule. In fruits you find glucose + fructose (which is the part that gives the sweet taste), and it's not different than industry sugar, except that they're able to isolate and add fructose only.
      The only difference is that in nature it comes with fiber, which allows to assimilate it in a healthier way.
      With fruit juice, you lose that protection as you'd lose most of the fiber when making it.

      There is no such thing as commercial fructose - you can't buy it from the store. Fructose is a part of everything that contains sugar in it (as sugar is 50% fructose and 50% glucose). That includes fruits, however fruits come in with fiber which makes them a bit better than the rest.

  • @norwegianzound
    @norwegianzound 7 місяців тому

    Nonsense. There is almost no fructose in the Irish diet. Lots of metabolic syndrome in the population. Obesity is endemic.

      did you not watch the video? Clinical evidence proves fructose is a toxin, hence even glucose reversed the damage, what more evidence do you need? It's the same thing we make alcohol from, is alcohol not toxin as well? 🤦‍♂️

      Most of fructose we eat comes from added sugar to foods. Eating fruits is not as bad because they contain fiber, which makes the body don't absorb as much fructose, and because fruits have less sugar compared to processed sweet stuff. You can have your fruits in moderation but foods with added sugar are the real problem.

      i confirm. i eat fruits ( i also live in a tropical country and they taste delicious) and i am not diabetic or prediabetic, plus i am slim. Cutting out fats( especially seeds oils) made me loose even more weight. The problems are fat and ADDED sugars( like sugars in the coffees or in refined foods)

    the problem is the fat in his food, why too much fat. It’s the combination of fat and sugar not only the sugar. Lustig is fat.
