Felipe is so powerful and with style is scary to watch. I thought italo would have been much better he has the turns, airs and tubes on lock. Plus big up Stephanie so smooth and more power on the turns than some of the men. Respect!
I couldn't imagine being a NEW surfer these days. Crazy. What a different view than what many of us saw growing up. It's go for broke on every move. Fight to the DEATH !!! what a freaking wave, the surf ranch. I know we'll see better even, but it's completely sick. I wonder how much they jack this thing up when not filming. LIke, hyperclocked. 6 ft? I had to time it (stop watch). That was a freakin' 13+ second barrel by steph. crazy. Kellys was about the same, 11-12 sec. had to play this game one more time... Filipe - 10 - 11 sec, and again - gabe 13+ sec @15:23 - only a few in world can air that smooth. @16:96 - the brazilians just air better than the rest of the pack. they do. Kelly gets close.
This wave is too difficult to surf to allow surfers to pick creative lines which is why they all surf it similarly. They gotta find a way to make it easier to surf so guys can really open up and pick a wider variety of lines
For me, this is the only wave they can take some risk, it’s the same wave for every body, they can compare thier skills and get an Amazing surf tricks 👍🏻

Not a fan( with all that drug use, and all) but imagine a young Christian Fletcher on this wave. Hard to beat.
Just think, get a tube in artificial wave is just « too easy ». If you want some challenge, just get a lot of aerials 😎
Watching surfing in a wave pool is like watching golf for me. Love doing it but don’t like to watch it on tv.
