@@QuarterHoarder frankly I'm amazed at how much you guys identify in the field. I don't carry glasses of shame so I bring it all home to clean and ID. I just don't want to be like the Plugmaster and throw out dates and IDs that are way off, lol.
Man, I love watching you all! Dog Tag Dog’s gentle and humorous personality, Charlie’s knowledge and sharing it, Paul’s deadpan comments and RARE smiles (even though I’m positive they are not so rare in person!), and you, Jason, with your contagious excitement and humorous banter with everyone, keeps me looking forward to your videos. Not only because I’m always anticipating seeing the cool relics and coins you all find, but because your vids make these -10F days not so interminable (our ground is too far frozen to chip out anything for a few months to come now, so watching you guys is the substitute) as well as picking up tidbits of info that help me understand my machine more (AT Pro). Btw, I’ve been sewing for decades, both as hobby and as employment, and it’s just so cool to see the buttons and the random sewing ephemera you dig up!
Thanks Marci. We each have our quirks but I wouldn’t trade away any of them, not even Paul (just kidding). I appreciate the kind words and hopefully we’ll find a lot of really cool buttons to show you this year. Good luck with your AT Pro. I used one for years and found some amazing stuff with it!
I was going to say the same thing. where there is a circle dent in the middle there was probably a metal piece attached with a cutout, and when you would twist it the date would be in the cutout part.
So glad to see a new video. Wish I still had my detector I had in my early teens. I got frustrated digging in the yard. Evidently, my aunt n uncle who lived there before us bbq'd A LOT!🤣😂. TIN FOIL SUCKS!🤣😂
Thanks for another enjoyable, upbeat, and teaching video! I chose to buy a shaft from your linked vendor, Steve’s Detector Rods. Thanks for the suggestion. He was instantly responsive, helpful and a real pleasure to deal with! AND HE GAVE ME A 10% DISCOUNT.
You weren't kidding about a 1000 holes. Yall found numerous relics and coins. Really enjoyed watching. I think going forward that any spoons found, after they are cleaned up, whoever found the spoon should have to eat a meal with the spoon in the shape it was found in, lol. Would make it interesting, lol. Happy New Years guys!!!
Long term investment is the best now. I invested $3,500 in march and i top up my trade with $200 every week. Now, I'm having over $87,000 on my dashboard. Toping up your trade is really important.
Awesome finds. I found a similar Liberty Bell medallion a couple days ago but mine was 1976. Keep up the great digs. Oh and Doug looks ready to get a job on a fishing boat in those pants and boots.
What an awesome field!! Love the tiny bottles, tokens, Dougs good conduct metal, and everything else. I would be hard pressed to ever leave it I'm afraid. I would think I died and went to heaven for sure. Always enjoy you gentlemen and videos!! Thank you for all the work you do to share them with us.
Scottish Piper I believe is what they're known as...or, just a Piper if you lived in Scotland 😅 After all, if you're a Piper in Scotland, other than an oil rig employee maybe, there's only likely 1 type of Piper you're likely to be 👍
Pears Soap is quite a famous one...it has a translucent dark amber colour to it and is about twice as thick as and a little longer than a regular bar. They were around in the 1980s and 90s still..maybe still now even. That's really cool regards the advertising gimmick though...it'ld make sense as, yes, to this day, defacing currency is still illegal to do (on UK sovereign territory) and then, as today, the English 'hate the French' 😅
What amazing finds! Love the tokens, the soap token is amazing, great history to it! Sterling spoons, tokens, coins and relics, nothing better. I got a 1919 winged liberty on my last hunt too! Happy New Year guys!

@@QuarterHoarder Well The Quarter Hoarder and crew can surmount all odds!! lol. I would like to see an actual "ninja" token though! You think, if one existed, it would be round or shaped like a throwing star? Who doesn't love speculating on hypotheticals?! Can't wait for your next vid!
22:17 is a Catholic religious medal of Virgin Mary with baby Jesus on one side and Saint Joseph, Mary's husband on the other side. Probably Mexicans back there working the lands or passing thru. Good find!!!
It's a calendar on the back, cool sesquicentennial token. I'd camp there until the field was empty, lol ...
After watching it back I was able to see the calendar separated into 7 sections. I’m not sure why I didn’t realize it in the field. Good call!

That place must be so much fun! Another great video!
Tons of nice stuff. Allot of history at that site. 👍
Thanks Michael. History and a ton of fun at this spot, what more can we ask for.
Great to see the Pears soap coin . Mental to think it started life here in the uk.
Great history lesson ..enjoy that part of your channel
Looks like you did a little mudlarking.great finds
Love that Liberty Bell Token. A great example of why I like metal detecting.
Love that little bottle Paul found.
Another awesome day at that location the glass bead was cool and love how almost everything is dated.
Like kids in a candy shop there. You’d know first hand! 😉
Way to go guys...
Coinstair tray hunt gave me a 1946 silver dime 2day...
The back of the Liberty Bell token appears to be a weekly calendar of sorts.
I was going to say the same thing. where there is a circle dent in the middle there was probably a metal piece attached with a cutout, and when you would twist it the date would be in the cutout part.
Pears soap was 1st made in London in 1806 ,1st soap mass marketed.
That is the Field that keeps on giving.
You gypped Kevin of his cash register chime! 🤣
My bad. Next time I owe Kevin one chime. 🙂
Great variety! Thanks for sharing your hunt.

Awesome looking finds guys. Especially the tokens and the ornate glass bead
What the heck guys you have a sweet spot for relics
Thanks for another great detecting video. Some pretty interesting finds!!
Maybe they held a annual festival or fair in that area. Those tokens could have come from the local vendors.
This one great permission! Great finds. It’s delightful to watch what y’all found! Love it.

The token with the bagpiper on it is really cool. I play the pipes.
No kidding. You don’t hear about many US people playing the bagpipes. Must be hard to find lessons over here.
@@QuarterHoarder I think that token had something to do with plaid stamps

Good conduct is awarded for every 4 years of good service. Earned 3 of those myself.
Some more great tokens out of those fields. Charlie's pear soap token has to be the find of the day from this hunt. Happy hunting and be well
Hi Quarter Hoarder the reason they have a Scotsman on the token is because Scottish people are known to be thrifty
That’s a lot of great stuff thanks guys all the best !!

Almost reminds me of a tiny sun dial on that liberty bell token. Very cool finds all around !
Thanks!
5 cents in trade was during prohibition I think.. like slot machine.. used as reward so they couldn't say it was gambling... Least I think
Joe’s token looks like a type of calendar. 7 segments , one for every day of the week.

Pears soap...very cool tokens..history!...Pears soap started in 1807 by Andrew Pears..UK..pretty sure
I saw it was bought out by Lever Soap so it’s still around at some capacity. Pretty amazing for a 200+ year old company.
Great stuff amazing you know that it could be a homeless camp from the depression just a guess thank you for sharing five stars my friends
Good conduct medal was Doug's token find fidelity zeal obedience is what they say.

Would so many Tokens mean a Faire or carnival was held there.
13:05 is off a lamp shade about the 1920's.. beaded shades were popular. The beads dangled off the shade's edges.

they still sell Pears Soap in Canada
The small bottle with stripes is a macuracrome bottle that's missing stopper w/glass rod.
The Liberty Bell round is most likely a type of calendar. (It's numbered 1 to 31) The hole in the middle probably held a small, rotatable pointer.
My favorite was the navy good conduct token.
