Unfortunately, the Rangers are locked in with Panarin, Zib and Krieder.
I know you guys don't follow the Leafs. They are a carbon copy of the Rangers except for Rangers better goalie. Mathews 69 goals. Superior up front for the regular season. Come playoffs they fade out. Not tough enough like the Rangers.
Been Ranger fan since the 70's I don't claim to know the in's and out's but they always had my support. I have to admit after seeing what they did in the regular season, I was soooo certain we were going to raise the Lord Stanley. But I witness some thing this playoff that I didn't expect and that was how we looked like we were wearing cement skates and couldn't get out of our own end. I don't know if you can improve speed and power with these same players, but if that doesn't improve wer'e going to be mediorcre real quick. I agree with all your points as well!

Zibanejad joined the Rangers in 2016 and was immediately annointed the 1C with no competition. What has he done in the 8 years since (other than score 5 goals in a meaningless regular season game)? I challenge you to name another game or playoff series where he was the difference maker?

DISAGREE ON LINDGREN, HE CAN NOT MOVE THE PUCK, START A BREAKOUT, AND TREATS THE PUCK LIKE A LIVE HAND GRENADE. Sounds more like you are reffering to Adam USELESS Fox. Lindgren, along with Trouba, Miller and Schneider are a good core of defensemen. Heck, Zac Zones would have been a better roster addition during the playoffs than Adam Fox. He was KIA'd of was MIA the entire season.

If I were them, they could sell the franchise or the name as there are no Texas Rangers in NY.
They MUST get rid of Adam Fox! He is and was USELESS as a defenseman this season and during the playoffs. He is no Makar, Josi or Heiskinen - not even close. Fox lacks grit, is inept at back checking, is ragdolled with his back to Shesty, is lost on forecheck, and can't seem to impact the ice other than when he is generously placed in high leverage and advantaged situations like the power play. Imagine if Schneider, Miller, or Zac Jones were given the amount of ice time Fox receives in leveraged situations they would impact gameplay on both ends of the ice more so than Fox. I cringe every single time he's on the ice pretending to play defense. And what the hell is Lavvy thinking playing him on the PK??? Trade Fox and the next five 1st round picks for Tage Thompson. Or trade for a defenseman that exhibits toughness, grit, can dish out hits and take one, use his stick to poke, and apply time and space with effort. Adam Fox is effing awful!

Bottom line Chris Drury has got to go. Kreider Zibinajed Trouba, have to go. The “clean cut” Yankee image is a joke. We do not have any dogs. Getting rid of Reaves was laughable 2 years ago. You need grit in the playoffs. We have, none of that. Team is soft just as per your rant last year. I said winner of tb flr would make finals. 🤷♂️
I agree! Reaves or something similar to his play style and tenacity should have been kept. Rempe was not the answer.

Reaves is horrendous. Did you watch Toronto this year? We need size and grit but not a washed up slug like Reaves.
Also agreed on that Trouba contract… nobody is touching that 😂 would be great if he could learn how to clear a puck before next season.
