Mike when we were moving combines on the pavement, we had one combine that would vibrate and shake. One of the local tire guys said to start increasing both drive tire air pressure by 1 pound. If that doesn’t work then try another pound. We found out at 3 psi increase, it disappeared.
    Good luck.
    Hello from north east Montana.

Mike maybe the front flagger for the air seeder could have a sign reading “Road Blocked”.

Damn, some people are crazy. Here we don’t have farm equipment that big, but I think the narrow back country roads can make up for the size difference. Every time I meet a farmer, be it in a car or on my bike, I slow down, look for a good spot to stop and let them by and if this isn’t possible I creep by them. These big machines look scary and I always think that they could run over me without even struggling if they wanted to.

Modern lane keeping systems might be part of the reason people don't move over. I can let go of my steering wheel for 15 seconds and my car will drive in-between the lines on its own, and the assist would try and push me back in the lane if I moved over (but I would move over anyway personally)

Hey Mike, really happy for the new video. Always a blast watching them, even though I am not even remotely connected to farming, but it's a nice refreshing way of seeing and experiencing things that I normally would not do.
About the time thing you mentioned in the video that puts people at ease, I don't think it's necessarily a set time aspect that makes things easy, but more about the fact that you have concrete information in a situation that you normally don't find yourself that often. That way, you have a piece of information that you can tie to that makes all your worries go away, but without it, your mind starts running random scenarios as this event is not something that you go through on a daily basis.
Anyways, keep up the good work and looking forward to watching your videos.

Having driven heavies in Australia for most of the last 40 years, a lot of that on narrow - even single lane roads - I now come to a complete stop if it's a narrow section and a car driver refuses to move over to allow us to pass. I've had 'drivers' demand I get off the road so they can pass but my response is that I weigh between 40 and 80 tons, they MIGHT weigh 3... They lose. If it's bigger then me, I get off. If we're the same size, both get off, if I'm bigger it gets off...

When I was farming , my yard is in a valley and all the land up top . When I was coming home cars would follow all the way down the hill , then at the bottom try to pass on the bridge . A cultivator is twenty feet wide , in transport , the bridge is twenty six . We cannot stop in a straight line . The flip side is that when coming home from night shift , I often meet combines , moving at night , with a fifty foot header , no lights except the flashers on the cab . I used to be a farmer , I know to be careful meeting something unknown at night , but many do not . Last year I came up behind a combine , at midnight , no lights on the back at all , in December , in the middle of a snow storm , on the four lane . The only way I knew he was there was his rotating light flashing off the trees ahead of him . Folks , be careful out there , farmers , I know you you are really busy but wait till you can get a pilot truck , or get the proper warning lights . I can remember what it's like when it's late in the year with rain in the forecast , you want to get to the next field and get ten acres off before the truck gets there to pick you up , but don't take the risk . On a side note I noticed that the best people to share the highway with are native Americans , generally more willing to be patient and give the room you need

Your first video from last year when you hooked up to the transports, my first question was, why didn't they just use the same wheels on both sections. The smaller wheels are going to be spinning faster, so that bearings are more likely to overheat. And if all four wheels were the same you'd only need one spare.
