Damn, some people are crazy. Here we don’t have farm equipment that big, but I think the narrow back country roads can make up for the size difference. Every time I meet a farmer, be it in a car or on my bike, I slow down, look for a good spot to stop and let them by and if this isn’t possible I creep by them. These big machines look scary and I always think that they could run over me without even struggling if they wanted to.
Modern lane keeping systems might be part of the reason people don't move over. I can let go of my steering wheel for 15 seconds and my car will drive in-between the lines on its own, and the assist would try and push me back in the lane if I moved over (but I would move over anyway personally)

Hey Mike, really happy for the new video. Always a blast watching them, even though I am not even remotely connected to farming, but it's a nice refreshing way of seeing and experiencing things that I normally would not do. About the time thing you mentioned in the video that puts people at ease, I don't think it's necessarily a set time aspect that makes things easy, but more about the fact that you have concrete information in a situation that you normally don't find yourself that often. @@realredditstories420 it’s true, but the guy stayed at the same place for thirty minutes and cars were getting mad at me, so i ended the conflict moving out the way
So you mean there will be no McDonalds drive thrus with the combine?
On the ideal 9 when you have the hazards on and then put your turn signals on to turn does it stop the hazards and only put the one signal on because I know some machinery does not so if they are turning you have no idea what they are doing
The hydrostatic drive is Not Made to drive lots of miles.
Field work is literally driving lots of miles
@@realredditstories420 Roading combines is very hard on hydros.
@@interman7715 we road our 4 combines 2,000 miles each and we’ve had them for 4 years. Didn’t do anything to the hydros
@@interman7715 BS, the hydro doesn't care if it's in a field or on a road.
How would tracks handle the road miles, never had to move anything tracked so far so no clue if they would overheat or not
They often put talc, baby powder, etc on the inside of the tracks to reduce the friction and the build-up of heat caused by it.
Thanks for letting me know. Only things I have driven with rubber tracks have been skid steers and mini excavators so let's say I haven't really been doing the miles or speed that Mike has
Did you get any of those storms that passed though just north of you guys earlier this week.
The rain yes, but narrowly missed the Hail
Why don't header transports have bigger tires instead of go-kart size?!
Very good question... It's been a complaint of mine..
I've wondered the exact same thing many times...............glad you asked.
Is that an external indicator panel on the back of the combine there @18:07
Uhmm. Just a note... sorry.
You didn't check the front right tire on the header cart.
Hey mike what would happen if you met another combine
Combine fight?
Would be great to watch!
It's easy biggest goes first 😉
Usually you see each other coming and the first one to get to a field approach will pull off and wait
Saludos miki desde México
Road that combine it takes less time than hauling due to getting permits and I thought you had a combine up north to handle all the harvest?
The John Deere was moved south. Deere is not plugging in the recut durum straw. It's alot cheaper to beat up the used Deere than the Leased Fendt.
the worse thing to wait for is a train at rush hour and your already late for work AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH...lol
Mike I have a question, Does your apartment in Swift Current have combine parking?
Hey mike can u do a fendt 1050 vs 942 🙏
15:10 UFO right side speeding in the speed of light
Why are you taking this combine into Swift Current?
It's a part way of my move
I would have just go into the grass
Then you destroy there development, and you’ll get sued. And you can’t go over curbs
the city will fin you
any reason you didn,t park at the AGCO or Deere dealer to overnight in SC?
I think he was on the wrong side of town for that.
Do you guys have a swather or did you pay someone to do it for you
Father in law has 2, videos of that to come
