When i get a rooftop tent, I will sleep with my head where the door is so I can sit up at night without hitting my head. I owed a swagman and got claustrophobic and had a panic attack because I couldn't sit up without getting out of the swagman.
Ps. Waterbottle holder where the door is good as well for when dry mouth during the night.

Only thing is with those types of rooftops is once you set your awning up or even without the awning set up if it's raining you get wet , even though it takes a few minutes longer I prefer my Kings pull over rooftopper where you're covered and protected and probably 1/3 or even less of the price!
Love the camp spots you find, always look so peaceful and the kids always have so much fun! Can't wait to see bits of your cruise and especially the new vehicle! Will be interested to hear what you think of it's capabilities.

Sooo good! Just careful with hot sticky caramel with the little ones. Not straight out the fire onto the tongue if they have been really roasted 😆 But delish!! My kids go crazy for them👍🏻😊

Two great campsites. So going to go to the Alpaca farm. They were cute. We only do 5 marshmallows because ours did the same and ate the whole bag in one sitting. So now we ration while camping so they last. Those forks looked great. But it’s your choice how many you give out.

Love the rooftop tent. Reckon I would sleep with my head at the big end and get in through the side so I didn’t mess up the bed. Didn’t realise there’s enough room to keep bedding inside. Even more interested now. Enjoy the cruise. Sounds awesome. 😊

Another quality vid guys. Enjoy the cruise. Watching your kids gives my wife and I faith that at least there will be 3 more normal people in society. Just not sure how they will interact with the moorons later in life. Keep up the great work. Hope to see you on the road one day.

Well done once again. Great to see Canungra in the pick as that's where my work is ..... matter of fact just adjacent to the show grounds Dale ( the old spud farmer ) supplies all the fire wood and has all the history of Canungra, and 1 of our workers is the grandson of the show ground owners. love the place except weekends get very hectic as it's very touristy.

Another great episode. I reckon I would give my kids 6 marshmallows 😂.
Head forward then you can hang you feet over brush them off , so you don’t get your bed dirty .. we did Cairns to Uluṟu last year via plenty highway with our roof topper ( 2 adults 1 kid) .. it was winter so we actually hung a bag so we could put our Ugg boots in it when we went to bed & pop them on to go down the cold ladder in the morning !! So good not tow & go off road for the free camps .. love the roof top ❤ great episode .. love Bill & Bec’s guiding .. excellent wife indeed 😅

Hey mate, Loves the vid as usual.
I run the same Rooftop Tent on my Patrol and love it. I go in threw the side because of the 270 awning and I have my head up high end. Also, The bush company make the bracket for ya sirocco fans to mount to the cross beams inside the tent, 4 pop rivets and you can close the tent fine with the fans still attached.
Oh ripper, I ended up just mounting the fan to one of the cross beams , just screwed it in👍
You guys are legends. Love ya work. I'm in the grey nomad league but love watching what you guys get up to.

was hoping to stay at the Beach Front Hervey Bay but is apparently under investigation by HipCamp, so just booked into Lakeview Beachmere 22 May only 1 1/2 from home, looks like a nice pieceful spot but still close to everything. Love this series showing these great spots close to home.

You got to light the bag of the firefighter then let the firefighter inside catch alight inside before putting into the fire
Great episode! I’ve noticed a few times now you don’t use kindling with your fire - you won’t really need the fire starters if you use a bunch of twigs to start it instead of those thick boys you’re putting on
Surprisingly hard to find good kindling on the road at campsites😂😂 everyone else has beat us to it, so firestarters it is
