Typically I don’t like these sorts of videos because the changes are blaringly obvious and don’t actually fit in well, but this one was done with a wonderful artistic flair. Very clever!
Since I'm not familiar with the original piece, I didn't realize when they were deviating at first, it was so smooth. Then suddenly started noticing the anachronistic melodies.
Too early and the timestamp folks haven't shown up yet, so I'll wager a try: guess it is the stamp list now... 0:03 - Flight Of The Bumblebee (thanks to piano lingling) 0:11 - Break Up! (thanks to TheOtherNeutrino, confirmed by JunWu) 0:21 - Hanon Etude (thanks to piano lingling) 0:27 - Der Holle Rache Kocht In Meinem Herzen (thanks to Ramiru Thihansa) 0:30 - Megalovania 0:35 - The Phone Is Ringing (thanks to Jay/Fam) 0:37 - A Whole New World 0:43 - Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (thanks to Cori Mills) 0:43 - The Lick (thanks to Pentaxel) 0:50 - Coffin Dance (thanks to ThatOneGuyXL) 0:51 - Please Don't (thanks to comment section, confirmed by JunWu) 0:59 - see 0:03 1:01 - Mary Had A Little Lamb On Acid (thanks to Zachary McKinnon) 1:03 - Never Gonna Give You Up 1:18 - stylised Lick (thanks to Zachary McKinnon) 1:23 - Händel's Hallelujah
I like both channels, but the transitions in this particular upload are so smooth. A lot of the people uploading don’t seem to put as much effort into the edits, which might be preferred by some, but I definitely think that what was done here is pretty clever.
I think they both have their own distinct styles. JunWu makes the compositions coherent, and the memey additions are often a little more subtle, beautifully woven into the pieces, whereas Mingchi, while equally entertaining, isn't afraid to make obvious transitions and increase the memepercentage to 80%. Both have their pros and cons, requiring different skill sets. I'm glad they both exist, but I think the music nerd side of me prefers JunWu.
0:11 It's probably a K-pop song isn't it? You know what's really sad, it's that most of the time when I hear such a section in your videos I always think "damn it sounds incredibly good", then I go check the comms for the source, and when I go listen to it (often popsong or K-pop), it's utterly disappointing and doesn't sound nearly as good as in your video :(. Anyway I really love the 0:11 part, it's really good. I love your videos btw, you're definitely the best at the "falling music theory" genre. Edit : You made me lie this time ! I found the source in the comments, and the song is an absolute banger. Went directly in one of my playlists.
Yeah, JunWu’s edits stand out from the rest, because there is at least some variety and the transitions are pretty smooth. Some of the other channels just seem to constantly just copy and paste with little to no thought and that doesn’t make it as funny.
Hold on, let me prepare my ears and sanity. Ok we’re good. Let’s do this.
😆😅😆
What sanity?

The transitions are the smoothest there can be, I love it
Marvelously intertwined. The mix of laugh and talent is still fantastic.
The triangle at the end killed me. I'm dead.
That fact you to take us on a magic carpet ride in the middle...🤣🤣🤣
0:56-1:05 I love this build up to (what else) a rickroll
FUCK. My childhood trauma of playing those damn Hanon exercises every single day has just been unlocked. I hope you are proud of what you've done.

1:23 - Händel's Hallelujah
0:03 is Flight of the Bumblebee
And 0:21 is a Hanon etude
0:59 bumblebee again
0:11 I'm pretty sure is Break Up! by Ayumi Miyazaki i.e. The Digimon Adventure 02 insert song
0:43 the lick
Fuck that was good.
Side note: I think this has decided the victor in the JunWu vs Mingchi championship.

the triangle at the end is just too perfect
There were a few teases for the William Tell Overture. I was a little disappointed that it's not in there.
I hate it when these kinds of memes are actually well written and interesting to listen to harmonically
That triangle at the end! Mozart from the movie Amadeus would be proud.
That snippet at 0:51 sounds like K.Will's "Please Don't..." intro
Because it is lol
I was not ready for the lick at 0:46
0:40-0:42 even has "A whole new world" in it!
What better way to end this masterpiece than a bonk of a triangle
We need more cowbell!
The lick at measure 54 gets me every time haha. My favorite part of these videos is seeing how JunWu can work the lick in in new unexpected ways.
0:59 that thing made me laugh so loud, like screaming, idk why. It’s purely comic!
You can’t play 72-74 unless you’re a 3-handed alien!
alright this unironically slaps
This just cured my anxiety
I may or may have not have full on giggle snorted when I heard A whole New World mixed in. Absolutely brilliant.
Work of art!
Awesome!! Keep going please, it's so good!
Absolutely excellent!!!
1:03 Rick would be proud
awesome as always. you´re doing god´s work here. because it´s your work. and you are the god.
why does this make so much sense. brilliant haha.
Ah yes, my favourite ornament: to triangle
Keys mash warning got me

Well what is it
@@gyinagal Break up, Ayumi Miyazaki. Found it in other reply.
that's Break Up from Digimon Adventure 02
@@BalmMartian I recognized 😂😂😂😂
ngl too jpop to be kpop...2000s kpop maybe but not recently
glad to find out it was actually jpop (ok, an anime song but still)
Man, 0:11 gave me some Digimon flashbacks.
Same 😂😂😂😂😂
Mozart would be proud.
Absolutely brilliant 😂
This sounds amazingly distracted
“RaaaachmAninOff”
Hidden lick at 0:45
I usually hate these kinds of videos, but this one really got to me for some reason. Good job
Yeah, JunWu’s edits stand out from the rest, because there is at least some variety and the transitions are pretty smooth. Some of the other channels just seem to constantly just copy and paste with little to no thought and that doesn’t make it as funny.
This is good
1:20 reminds me of “zitto zitto piano piano” from la cenerentola di Rossini
Marriage of Figaro but the marriage got cancelled, so... basically the plot of the opera?
Lmaooo that's so cool!
The ending is almost Schickele-esque
How do you guys recognize all these song snippets? I am really baffled. In most of the videos, all I recognize is the lick ;-)
Dude you could've put up a warning about the key smashing
An excellent assortment of variations. The triangle's note at the end was ... disappointing.
Doesn’t sound like the marriage was cancelled. Lol
Is 0:29 part of Megalovania?
Why am I fucking laughing at sounds???
Hahaaha
No doubt inspired by Twoset lmao

@@NeverStopRolling I intended to edit it later, but I couldn't think of anything to write.
You wrote a comment before you have anything to comment? Humans are certainly curious creatures ^3^
These parodies of renowned classical music sound a bit lame and childish a lot.
