@@RitwikBanerjee my options at the moment is Orient Store in Rosenheimer Platz & Go Asia as they do carry some Indian stuff. Last time I was lucky with Pataks pickles. It was like finally getting something you've been looking for long time.
I live in Prague, which considered as one of cheapest city in Europe. But Man!! Munich groceries are much cheaper than here with respect to wage you get.. Is paneer available at German supermarket I wonder, if you have seen anywhere
The major portion of your salary will go for rent payment. Other than that grocery prices are similar across stores. Munich is take expensive hence software developers get a fat salary but you need to consider the rent as wel. Check cost of living comparison between cities

I haven't seen them in German stores! But they are found in abundance in Indian supermarkets
