Tolle is so cool, he doesnt want to say too much about things that'll just give people a reason/excuse to stop listening.he's not showing off, like" look what i know!!" he's staying within a "reasonable" framework so that more of us can have a chance at getting the message, before the mind gets spooked &puts on the brakes...
Its taken me a very long time to learn this but we don't actually find any solutions through over thinking our problems , solutions actually find us when we stop and simply allow the answers to come to us.
And more than often, the problem doesn't even occur... So much energy lost! Overthinking does not work because it's based on fear and neurosis, which fuels a vicious circle. If we regard the problem rather with curiosity, we might consider that either it is not a problem, or that it can be solved in a peaceful way. The other day I had to meet someone who was angry with me, and rather than trying to calm the situation, I became aggressive, picking up on his anger, getting unconscious. My way of thinking about the issue was the issue. I was ruminating about what happened rather than preparing myself to meet him in a peaceful way.
@@Misslotusification everything is ok, and everything is going to be OK no matter what happens. No need for any thinking at all , as thinking is engaging with our minds and encouraging our minds to produce yet more thoughts. Just allowing everything to be ok is a peaceful recipe for a happy life and happy relationship with our minds. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
These short bits of his speeches are all so wonderful! Here is a perfect practical example of how our opinions are irrelevant - when his mind went blank, there was no reaction (awkwardness, embarrassment...) just acceptance. He did say it's a good thing, but that's also irrelevant as everything that is happening is happening for a reason, no matter what we think of it. And without trying hard at all, eventually the train of thought came back on it's own - Problem solved! :-)

Eckart Tolle is my Number 1 Mentor, I just knew him lately when I read "The Power of Now", and I have to admit that he saved me in the most difficult circumstance I have been through in my life
Seemingly "difficult people" is a problem that we take very seriously. This mental trap gets us in trouble and makes us unhappy. In general, it is enough to consider that this "difficult person" at this point has its own " problem "and is not present. Then it is easier for us to stay calm and react according to the practice of the present. It seems obvious, but it fails when we are lost ourselves. Practice makes perfect. 💖
I've learned to not get drawn into this trap but struggled with dysfunctional family members for years. Some would even ask for help and the sabotage efforts just so they could turn things into a conflict that they could feel as if they were winning by being difficult. In my mind I thought that if the person wanted help that I was just doing something wrong by not being able to make them feel better.
Yes. I have to apply this over and over. Not all of us wake up instantaneously. It's taking a while for me. But I am aware of my frustration and anger. So very aware.😊🙏it's a start.💆♀️🧘🏻♀️
If you Google the chimp paradox by Steve Peters there is an excellent clip which is just over 13 minutes long where he is addressing an audience of University students. I find it a really useful tool to help me understand and accept what is really happening when other people are talking or behaving badly, irrationally and unkindly, obviously it helps me understand myself too 😊😊😊 If anyone does take a look the 13 minute Ted talk is the simplest and best one I've found,
He cares so much. This topic is of vital importance. Human beings suffer needlessly due to the fact that they react instantly at the sight of a problem, so they never allow its illusion to arise and fall, with "I" being perched at the center watching.
Thinking fast and slow is a good way looking at things in my opinion. Our first automatic thought is almost always a negative thought because our mind always wants us to be aware of any potential danger first and foremost ,, by being aware of this we create space to think beyond our automatic fearful mind and see things differently.
2:00 In order to address a problem effectively, we need to analyze while taking a step back during analysis and tap into non-conceptualized thoughts in order to give us an accurate grasp of the potential ways to solve a problem without over-analyzing. This is gold!
What a beautiful, honest moment in the later part of this clip. I have seen so many of Eckhart's videos that it's always a delight when he sort of falls out of his more "usual" statements and has a candidly personal moment, like he did here. Wonderful.
Really really love this! Two weeks ago I was on vacation a few days and at the last day I got a phonecall a car crashed through the garden wall into my garden! I know this idea of "having created it" but I had to do a lot of work and talking to the insurance company. Meanwhile many things happened and I tried to accept the situation just as it was. Very funny to see this film and so very usefull! Thanks Eckart! 🙏🙏🙏🤍🤍🤍
Thank You Eckhart. My mind never seems to stop. I catastrophize . Makes things worse. And creates anxiety. Listening to you is calming for me. I tend to pile up my problems and become overwhelmed. Did I create the trauma of my house fire and losing my job?? Never did think so.
Apply focus thought, not overthinking (when stressed). Focused thought is based on nonconceptual intelligence (unconditioned consciousness). Be alert. Most problems are created by unconscious use of the mind. Thanks Eckhart. 👍🏆🕊🤓🤡🌛🥁💎

@@LahainaStrong444 To explain doesn't mean to make more complicated, it's to make the meaning more clear and easy to understand, and notice in different situations.

At the end of his sharing, his mind did stop and he got lost. He was telling us how to solve life's problems. Use the analytical mind to see the steps that can be taken and enter into stillness by silencing the mind so conscience where wisdom is, solves it.
Concentrate on what you are and not what you think you are,the moment we're born were given a nationality,a religion and race and then spend the rest of our lives defending a fictional character. Once you can create a little space between what's you and your body and what's you and your mind you'll be able to experience life exactly how it was intended ❤
Can someone please explain what he means when he said you come home to find your house is completely destroyed and that some people (including him) believe “you created” that circumstance. I’m trying to reconcile that with when he says “Life (aka God) gives you challenges to bring you into consciousness”. So are we creating our problems or are we given them?
It's both really, but on different levels of awareness (and you, as everyone operate in several levels of awareness, from the most subtle as consciousness, to mind and body [a gross oversimplification, as this could all be divided into many more levels]). On the level of ego you didn't really create your problems, because your identity is very limited as an ego, so from that perspective your creation is fairly limited. But who you are also extends into the subconscious mind and all your programming there - all that happens to you in some way always corresponds to a combination to your conscious + subconscious programming and vibe. This is what is nowadays usually called The Law of Attraction - basically although the Universe or God gives out challenges to all, those which affect you and happen to you are the ones your vibrational frequency corresponds with - basically meaning your energy (conscious and subconscious) attracts certain types of situations, both positive and challenging. In that sense everything that happens to you is your creation, or rather you attract and interact with the aspects of the Universe that most correspond to your dominant energy at the time. On the ultimate level you are even beyond your own subconscious and conscious mind, as pure awareness itself, firstly as is usually said in esoteric literature, as the individual Soul or Monad (the individual fragment of consciousness) and ultimately as the All. From the highest perspective then everything is technically "your" creation, since on that level you are God or everything, experiencing the game of life from a particular perspective. This is not easy to grasp with the conceptual mind though and needs to be experienced.
