  • www.patreon.co... The Henry has been around for a while now. And other makers are trying to cash in on it's success. I like the Henry. I like it a lot. But the Rossi Reo Grand is nice and shoots good. But is a little chincy here and there. Plastic sub parts where the Henrys are made better. Over all the Rossi is a good rifle for the money. And the Henry is the best rifle of it's type on the market today.

I've had my two Henrys (one in 22 and the other in 357) for years and I just bought a Rossi Rio Bravo last week. I'll just say that if I had run into a Rio Bravo years ago I wouldn't be owning two Henrys today. Henry is a better looking gun, but the Rio Bravo shoots just as good for less money. Maybe better because of the fiber optic sights. On a side note, it looks hot out there! Maybe y'all can build a little roof over that shooting table.

I purchased a Rossi Rs22 thinking it would'nt be much for $125 but it hasn't let me down yet. It shoots better than most 22 rifles that are more money and the fiber optic sights are top notch.

I just got back from the store (checking out ammo), and they had a new Henry there for $299. Nice little gun! If I didn't have my share of .22's, I would've snapped it up.

Making them cheap as possible but sure dont like the plastic on end of tube loader years down the road it may break Thankfully Henery still making rilfes out of metal Sad Rossi keeps going cheaper

Fun video! I like the Henry a lot and I extremely like the “count“ reference with the laughing while you’re loading the bullets. I to do that often when I’m counting

I got both the Henry is the better of the two as far as looks and probably built better but that don't mean the Rossi looks bad or is cheep made I just prefer Henry's over any other lever action guns

esquad 540, I agree that the Henry's do seem a little higher quality. I don't own either, i only know what i know from reading spec sheets and hearsay. But if i may share my thoughts; Where I live, It is very VERY humid, all the time. You damn near need gills to breathe outside, it gets so humid. A lot of people don't like polymer furniture, but I do. And the plastic furniture Rossi Rio Bravo has a few attractive features. Fiber optic sights, Mlok Rails, and even picatinny rails on certain models. I like these features so much that I'm seriously considering owning one. While I would bet the Henry might withstand really heavy use better. But so far, the Rossi has yet to show a reason that it would let me down if used with common sense and care. and plus, I'm probably going to fire less than 50 rounds out of it per year, Because I use 22LR firearms sparingly. While it may not be for everyone, I think the Rossi Rio bravo would be a good fit for my desires.

I own a Henry like yours, bought it for 189.00 at LGS years ago. I shoot the CCI 40 grain SGB and its pure poison with it. I've taken loads of small game and the occasional groundhog with it. Really enjoyed your video

I have the Rossi r92 tripple black in 38/357 , it has a 1/30 in. Rate of twist.... Which apparently is 100fps slower than the Henry with the same loads??..... My Rossi cycles smooth out of the box, I am happy with the performance. And it's a very good utility tool. Very convenient for the bush.

I completely agree about the plastic components, safety and Henry being superb rifles. I believe that a Comparison/vs. Video would be more relevant if it were Old Rossi vs. New Rossi......I'm curious how the new Rossi Gallery vs. Rossi 62. My experience is the Older Rossi revolvers outshine the Braztech Rossi's

The Rossi has a cross-bolt safety because the ATF has taken it upon themselves to create a regulation requiring such a safety on anything being imported. Section 922r. It's a stupid regulation for the reason you pointed out.

I have 2 Rossi R92's, one in 454 Casull and the other in 357 Magnum, both stainless steel 20" models. My brother has a Henry X Model in 357 also, nice rifle. I've shot both extensively and IMHO the Rossi is a much better value. They both my rifles are smooth, have great triggers, fit and finish is excellent and we both have found the Rossi is more accurate. IMHO that is why the R92 is the choice of CASS shooters. Because of that there are more accessories available for those rifles than any other and all that for half the price of a Henry. I've handled and shot the Rossi Rio Bravo 22 and found the same features as the larger rifles and for the cost the Rossi's have to be the best bang for the buck out there.

You do a review of Henry v Rossi while wearing a Henry hat... granted you do say that your a fan.... so at least you're honest about your bias. The Rossi is currently $279 from Buds and Henry is over $400. I like the Henry but the point of a review is to see how it performs. My Rossi carbines have great triggers... you seem to have a dislike of Rossi products... so it is what it is. So it shoots good - like the Henry. I guess it depends on if you are OK with the polymer parts. I am. The other reviews of the Rio Grand I've seen have all been good. Thanks for the review.
