Baker was much more than just Monica Sementilli’s lover… in her own words, he was her “soul mate,” her “everything.” They also have that photo of her where she had written “Mrs. Baker” in lipstick on his mirror. She’s guilty as the day is long. She wanted to be rid of Fabio but wanted the house, the money, the life insurance… she couldn’t wait to get her hands on it. The obvious thing to me is that if they had gotten away with the murder, she and Baker would have absolutely burned through every single penny so quickly and then would have been after the children’s inheritances. Monica and Baker are both loathsome creatures and both deserve a Life Without Parole Sentence.

With it being mentioned (as best recalled...) that Robert had attended perhaps a post-wake gathering of Fabio's at the Sementelli residence... then even especially... there's always a possibility that this wasn't the first time Robert stepped foot on Fabio's property. That said, the topic of the security camera's (and even rather specifics in regards to...) could've easily been discussed between Monica and Robert... even way before Fabio was killed.
When it comes to family members being in court while the defendant is just smirking and knowing the cops are near him, yes unfortunately it will piss them off, and they did something. I don’t think they wanted to, but seeing him set them off and I don’t feel any pity for the defendant who killed their family member.
Monica’s focus on money right after the murder of one’s husband -- even *If* the love was gone -- is so just plain *wrong.* There might be those who might say, “but we don’t know how much she needed money do we? What if she was in dire straits and behind on bills, food?” To that, I would say, “borrow some cash from somewhere to tide you over!!!!!” Her failure (a gross underststrnent) to simply exercise decency with respect to her behavior - which fir most of us, I like to think, would be guided by empathy and sympathy to the others completely devastated by the murder!!!! Unbelievable!!!
