Game info:
Minecraft is a sandbox video game developed by Mojang. In Minecraft, players explore a blocky, procedurally-generated 3D world with infinite terrain, and may discover and extract raw materials, craft tools and items, and build structures or earthworks. Depending on game mode, players can fight computer-controlled "mobs", as well as cooperate with or compete against other players in the same world. Today you learned:
In real life, the Devil Hole pupfish is critically endangered and extremely fragile specie. They are only found in only one place in the world, Nevada's Devil Hole (hence its rarity in the mod). They are as such very protected and it is strictly forbidden to interact with them or to trespass in the enclosure leading to them. Any change in their environment would cause a decrease in population. Today, there are about two hundred alive in this small prehistorical pond, with a lowest peak at 35 remaining in 2013.
If you come across the pond in game, take care of them !
There are sadly many animals that are only found in one place in the entire world, and suffer for it. The phenomena is called endemism I think.
Uhhhh theres a problem... I killed all of them, for fish meat...
Or you can just go in Creative and Populate them in Every Ocean by the Billions, in turn making them the Most Abundant Fish Species in Minecraft

This mod gives me the same feeling Mo' Creatures did many years ago. I can't wait to get my steam deck so I can properly enjoy this game at decent performance. 😅

I love the idea of the skreecher so much even though it’s annoying a lot of these mobs feel like they belong in the game that’s what I honestly love about this mod!
agree, the only mob I dislike properly is the robot seer thing, ruins the feel of minecraft and basically makes the lore too digital/a game

@@timurtheking Bro, the world border is pretty much just a result of the chaos caused by some players, and also distortion. It only makes sense that it causes undescribable to appear.

I love that this mod actually gives creatures uses and dynamic ways they interact with each other. They're actually part of the world instead of just being set dressing.
fun fact: terrapin is just another word for swimming turtles (but not sea turtles)

Fun fact, the murmur is based off a creature in Japanese myth know as rokurokubi. There are two types of rokurokubi, one who’s neck and head stretch from the body (what the murmur is based off of), and one who’s head detaches from the body completely (also called nukekubi).

The Bunfungus isn't useful at the mushroom Islands, bc mobs can't spawn there.

I Have a mob suggestion for Alex's Mobs: the Endactyl!
The Endactyl should be a pterodactyl-like placatable, tameable mob that should spawn in The End's outer islands. Endactyls should be tamed and healed with Popped Chorus Fruits and ridden with a saddle. They should also have a new set of armor called Endactyl Armor, which should be 5 variants: Leather, Iron, Golden, Diamond and Netherite. Endactyls should also shoot fireballs at targets. When killed, Endactyls should drop a new item known as Endactyl Wings, which should be used to craft Endactyl Wing Elytras.
Just kinda sounds like a mix of a bunch of mobs already in the game

It'd be really neat if you gave the soda drink hat to a villager and he gave you a million dollars worth of emeralds in return
Technically at the end of the episode, the hat is worthless

Actually the only version of Alex mobs I'm playing on is 1.10.1, because the new version have some mobs with some strange mechanics and not very good textures
you didn't include the interactions between robins and racoons in an earlier video - how they will team up if given glow berries. -- This feature being a "regular show" refernce.

So you will have to wear the sombrero underwater if you want it to spawn so it won’t spawn naturally unfortunately
