Any one can make this at home.
Here,
Copper Plate or rod is positive (+)
Zinc plate is negative (- )
Zinc plate can be extract from torch battery
This salt water battery is sometime better than solar panel because solar only give charge in sunlight but this battery work for 24 hour day or night .In sea area people have to not buy salt they can use sea water , Which is absolutely free .It needs very small amount of salt so this also not expensive for anyone to anywhere. There is no need of any kind of motor to generate electricity. This is very low cost project. All needed materials are easily available everywhere.

I Like it
Just put that things in the ocean or beach
Hacker Om Title should say battery not free energy. Everything cost money and the battersy require a charge.other than that thanks cool project for expirememts.
can i use aluminum instead of zinc?
Hacker Om can I ask what are the materials needed
not even gonna lie that music scared the shit out of me
oh yeah it just appeared out of nowhere HAHSASHAH
The hydrogen being produced at point of electrolysis could be sucker of with a fan and piped as a fuel source too great video
Thanks for sharing. Very usefull. I charch my earth battery with new liquids that I used. So I think with some extra water and salt you bring the Volt back to 0.7? Of course the earth gives a constant charche to my copper and zinc rods. I know that salt water does almost the same. What do you know about that? Hope you will reply.
Sorry about this but wouldn't it have been easier and have more equal cells, if you mixed the salt water in one container first and then distributed it between the cups?
I think he wanted to show for the video
I was thinking that. Mix first then distribute.
He obviously didn't have a big ass jug God!
If you mix that in one container it will become one cell whichonly have 2.7 volt you need many container to create series connection to achieve higher voltage
@@realtalk5668 no making the électrolyte in a container then pouring it in the cups
3:42 so you liked your own video?
your effort worths a very big BRAVO !!!!!!!!!!!
I Like this video very much it is great project .
good idea. i like you.
wow.. it's great... in your experent how long the power last.
your sortly saying that solar is used for daylight only or it only give charge in sunlight so my concern is, is this project works 24/7??? i mean there's no limitation as long as the water is still salty or what ever that gives the water volts. your video inspired me a lot. please do reply. thank you godbless.
Thank ou for the video and information. How long will this battery last? Again thank You.
If you live near the sea (which lots of people do, especially out here in Australia) you have a never-ending source of salt water... and therefore free energy... just add scrap metal like old drink cans and copper wire from burnt out pedestal fans etc... seems to be a never ending supply of those too.
Well done HackerOm... keeeeeep om hackin'!!!
14.64V will recharge a car battery, or power a Waeco. Cold beer, here we come!!!
ampere matter for charging
Congratulations
What a great idea😊
Great idea! I wonder how long the battery would last. Guess now I have to build one.
You have to charge it first ! Lmfa:0
@@chadwolfeschledgelsteinhau9697
*Ah, no you don't need to charge it. The chemical reaction is the reason this is working. Didn't you do an experiment like this in school?* Eventually, the charge will deplete...
@@valveman12 How long before it depletes?
@@Kopie0830 It depends on the current draw, and how long the metal plates last,. Temperature can affect it as well.
Sacm
great job love from america
Early morning Urine makes for a much better Electrolite
Totally brilliant!, how long does the battery hold a charge, and is it recharged by adding more salt? This idea is pure genius!
Simon Whitehead if you use magnesium strips the energy travels better
very low - you'll need to optimise it quite a bit but it can hold a charge and recharge as well.
very nice
NICE ,NICE VIDEO******
Nice video bro.i like it

hi. hacker on. thanks for sharing this great idea. is it ok to use aluminum plate from soda cans? thanks
Need to scrape off the plastic coating from the soda can. Also, aluminum creates an aluminum oxide very quickly, which is basically inert, and protects the aluminum underneath.
I damn near pooped myself when the music kicked in at 3:20!😂
Great, What is its A/H capacity?
Nice project..!!
How many cycles?
Nice project: For how long will this cell lost?
bro pls tell me can i use panasonic. batery metal covering as zinc
Yes
how much V & A per cell, and for how long ?
Nice video
hola es importante saber de cuanto amperaje estamos hablando haber si vale la pena.
its working
Thanks Great Idea Video channel
just want to ask about the volume of the glasses or the amount of water
when use big glass or any big object then increase amp
kamal ka trike vary nice👏👏👏
You can connect solar panels or turbines too! This type of battery is rechargeable.
yes
what is the output voltage when the lights is on
Probably 250 V👌
How many MaH? And what is the c rate? I've heard salt water batteries have an insane charging rate.
Have you tested that for longer time? Which maintenance do you need to do?
Over time the zinc will dissolve into the water and turn it murky. It'll need to be replaced with new zinc strips and new salt water solution every now and then.
good job

Sri lalita ! Very nice , super
Energy is never free. Copper, Zinc, and Salt cost money. It's just a battery and eventually will die and need to be recharged with costly energy.
energy is always free those are natural resources. the government makes us pay for something that was already there to begin with if you really want to go the technical route.
it's free when you do it on sea because sea never run out of salt.. but at home, it's never free energy.
Tester Mail it's not the salt reacting but the aluminium.
Myname IsBob The salt water is the only natural resource here.
Both the copper and aluminium are refined from their oxides.
Aluminium requires vast amount of electricity to separate from its oxide via electrolysis.
Copper can be separated through heating in a decomposition reaction.
Either way, that's where the energy came from for this. Stored as chemical energy in the metals.
Both metals recieved this energy through burning fossil fuels. Or a small percentage through green energy sources.
Salt is not expensive
The concept is great and makes sense and is also scientifically accurate
BUT ITS A BATTERY WHY DID YOU CALL IT FREE ENERGY IT SHOULD BE TITLES “HOW TO MAKE A BATTERY USING SALT”!
Thank-you
That's amazing
Can I use soda cans as a zinc plate, and can I use some of the copper wire to be a substitute to the copper plates
Yes, aluminium works. If you can't get zinc plating, just use aluminium foil sold in any supermarket. But like people say, some metals are better than others. Aluminium < Zinc < Magnesium
what r the material u used for this system ,i want to know that material that u use in water as a thine smale and flate plate
jangan pakai lampu yang seperti itu dong gan, coba pakai lampu bolam biasa/ LED yang biasa (yang tidak dapa dapat menyimpan daya)
ok boss i will try then reply......
Good job brother
Can we use only one big container
Hello, As long as this energy lasts?
*Works great until the metals are all dissolved away.*
Great.
Is there some mathematical equations for this so we can control the about of power per cup or is it something that should be experimental
How many amp produced ? About u,r project upload . How long charge salt to water ?
ahmad aziz not even 1amp bro.
Coz it cant even run a mini mortar
is it rechargeable?
I have no idea where locally buy zinc plates, dont have much batteries either, they are not cheap lol. Also, you get volts, but how much amps you can pull ?
Use aluminium foil if you want to test it cheaply.
I have tried but didn't work....don't know where I'm getting wrong
and what is the copper plate??
Sir can we use copper foil?
Will it really work
I have to display it in science fair
You can also make static from headphones by taking a lime, and a nail and sticking them in enough to touch the Jack to both points creating static in the headphones
Amezing Sir
What if you put the electrodes in a bath which is in the sea ?
HELLo there, can i ask where to buy zinc plate and copper plate? Or where can we find some alternatives.
see my new video how to extract zinc from battery
Does the amount of volts vary by the amount of water or salt you use? Also does the size of the plates have any variance?
Voltage depends on number of series metal strips
Great job bro
Kam se kam hai woh toh bata de Pani Mein Kya Dala tune
Do we have to use that much cups? Also what is the wire in the middle?
Good
sepertinya lampu bohlam tersebut memiliki baterai didalamnya, dan jika di short kan maka lampu akan menyala..
i think in the lamp use the battery in side, so he is short the circuit in lamp and than the lamp can be bright .. that i view the information in channel ELECTROBOOM
Awesome
I have used a 0.1mm copper... Can I get the out put
amazing..
Was that 14 volts ? And if I go to purchase these things ? What exactly do I ask for ? The wire ? Clios ? Etc ? I would like to make this to run my fan in the summer. It would save me about $50 a month.
The battery likely won’t last for long, i made this at home and after about 72 hours the copper had corroded already leaving about 90% of the copper surface area left in the electrode.
@@ethancampos2260 really? So only interesting if you have a supply of copper. Is there a cheaper metal available, or one that doesn't corrode?
can u use any type of wire coneecting zinc and coppper plate
good nice 👌👍👌👍😊😊
Hi, I'm doing a science project on this. I wanted to know if, instead of copper and zinc electrodes, would I be able to use copper and zinc bolts? Or any other replacements for the copper and zinc electrodes?
You can use copper and aluminum...to make the volt reach 1 volt use naoh electrolyte
Very Cool
commentators, this is a tricky. the salt called lye or sodium hydroxide. try a simple aluminum with that salt. with in a seconds, your metals will turn into solution
Are they rechargeable?
Mr. /Ms.
Good Day!
Can we use your lamp salt as a product for our research?
We hope and pray that you will allow us.
Thank you!
Sure you can use it
Hacker Om
Thank you so much Sir/Ma'am.
This was invented many hundreds of years ago before trademarks existed. It's free for anyone to try.
very nice bro to be with me and you
Working time ?
how long will that last?
very good
Rechargable Switched bulb?? Hahahaha goddamn
Emergency lamp 😂😂😂
Does it really produce energy I tried but it didn't produced energy
Its a battery, you have to put energy into it to get (less) energy out
@@onionhammer wasn't the energy already put in by the purification of metals?
Do you have any short circuit(electrodes in the same cell touching each other)?
Erik O'Leary WRONG
but how long would the charge last?
how can i increase the amps
Hussain Hammad I think more surface area and the closer together the plates are the better
Make several devices like that and connect them paralel. + on + and - on -
You have to increase the size of the plates significantly. multiple plates per bin. Just think of how a real battery looks
There is no such thing as free energy. The consumable components being used up are the zinc and copper, which will eventually corrode and oxidize, and stop working, needing replacement. How long does your salt water battery last before the zinc and copper strips need replacing?
yes but it is practically free compared to solar panel and worse, lithium ion/LiFePO batteries, home batteries... that are also far more dangerous.
bhai mujhe ye batao ki agar hum itane sare glass na rakhkar ek bada container rakhe to kya ye kaam karega?
Which salt did you use?
Please tell me
table salt
Hacker Om Thanks

It can be used, only 2 or 5 minutes. and Copper surface covered by hidrogene and Battery gone over .It is not efficient for only 5 minutes..
Can you recharge it?
has anyone come up with a handy formula to calculate how much energy you can actually get for the amount of salt you put in?
What is the material you used
Sir, ano po tawag sa bulb na ginamit nyo po? Ying wire deretso?
where I can get zinc and copper pieces .. please inform me because no time to submit project

can I charge my phone with it without damaging?
