Where cars and Reality Collide!
Another in our series of 10 minute, something or other to do with cars!
The challenge in this video is to replace a Car Radiator in 10 Minutes flat...
Unfortunately it took me 12 Minutes.... So I had to delete some of the slow stuff to get it inside the 10 Minute UA-cam Limit!
Oh well Better luck next time on the 10 Minute Challenge! - Авто та транспорт
On my vehicles the transmission cooler is a separate condenser, but evidently yours is all in one, with two separate fans. The only way to make that kind of task look easy is if you've done it many times before. Thanks for the summary. Why did you unclamp that one hose high at the engine rather than at the radiator?
i like your video , professional and clear!
Thanks mate, you saved my pay check this week!!!
Very good, now I'm ready to go!
Thanks man, my Mercury trio took a big green piss today :P This is gonna really be helpful when i change out the rad.
Are you using a drill or it is a an impact wrench. I have a drill (hitachi) similar to yours I wonder if I can use it as a wrench on cars with proper bits. Thanks
If you have old coolant, it is a good idea to flush it out of the system, but that can be tricky with a garden hose. You don't want your engine to get too hot while doing it so you don't crack your block.
dude that just helped me alot...but i have one question, aren't you supposed to burp it after you put in the antifreeze and stuff???
awesome dude... ! I have the same issue now.. will give it a shot ;-)
1993 mazda protege is this the same?
did you flush the old coolant out? i forgot to do that shit and now im trying to figure out if the new radiator is trash?!
Very nice job. now you make me want to try mine, I got 92 acura legend thinking to replace radiator. shop was asking $95 just the labor. maybe I should try myself following your step step.
nice
thanks so much, i'm going to change my RAV radiator this afternoon with my teenage son and wife, but they are watching this first so i don't have to lecture thru the process and they can help me.... loved the fact you did it in shorts and flip flops?
you from australian or english or where?
good video. btw im not a mechanic or anything like that but should procedures like this really be rushed through?
Air bleeds out through the top of the radiator into the reservoir or if there is an air control valve, open it!
That looked just the inside of my 98 Accord.
good stuffffffffffff
It really took him 10min. It is an easy model of vehicle to do this on, which is why he used it for the video.
not much will drain out. top it off when done.
Results may vary for different cars:):):):)
Other things to do!
You're welcome!
It is probably the temp sensor.
So fast....what's the rush! :-)
Each car is a bit different. Some are more difficult than others...
No, just did it fast cause I could on this car.
Easier to get to.
England
working under Honda Civic Hood is really a pain in the Ass, you won't find any enough space for your hand to get anything fixed, the Honda Accord is way much easier to fix and work on .
wow the mechanic i just talked to said it would take 2 guys 2 hours to do.
Can only see like half of what you are doing
