jesse, for future reference, a wire brush to clean the threads and some WD40 will go a long way in helping you and stop you running into issues of stripped threads etc
My first car, a 1997 VW Polo 1.4 8 valve. Mods: 15" TSW Heats Smoked tail lights with matching front and side repeaters 50mm GMax spring and damper kit Window tints Cat back exhaust with a 4" jap can K&N 57i induction kit Sony Xplod head unit with matching 6x9s mounted on rear parcel shelf and a 10" active subwoofer It's actually scary how close this is 😂
Awesome video bud 🙌 I too am doing the same thing with my corsa C, bringing back memories of modding my vauxhall Nova GSI over 20 years ago. Looking forward to the next installment
Would have been quicker to jack the back end up off the rear beam and landed onto axle stands in one movement, then removed the two bottom shock bolts and then let the trolley jack down. Both rear springs would have fell out. New springs in, then rebuild is the reverse. Didn't need to remove the wheels. Easy 20 minute job. Fronts are obviously not as easy as that, having to remove the drop link and then the complete shock unit. Looks so much better now it's been dropped. P.S. Top tip for rusty bolts. Spray with WD40 the week before you are going to start working on them, then spray again the night before. Worked for me 99% of the time. Oh how i miss working on old rusty car 🤔😂
It looks so much better bro, banger of a series this is turning out to be! Dechromed front grill, the 1.4 and corsa badges removed and some new number plates will be a nice little improvement. Then a subtle rear spoiler and a Spoon N1 style backbox? Then it's time for a Z20 (or even better a K20) RPF1's (Rota TFS3 will do) Recaros, etc! 💸😂
Before you use the grinder try use mole grips on the drop links and a buzz gun works every time. Or even putting pressure at angle could stop spinning will destroy drop links tho
Mate this is absolutely brilliant, its what i would like to do with my first car, even though im currently looking at a honda jazz 💀, reliable and cheap thats all that matters to be honest. One thing though, please get some gsi seats off the zafira gsi so it matches the year, or just look for sport seats, maybe try make the car look newer like apple carplay on the inside or see if there are any bumper kits etc
Nice 👍. Just changed the clutch my corsa c it's done 110k and I found out that the clutch I replaced was original. All done on the driveway aswell it was a right old pain to do by myself. Well worth it though
judging by the first video i thought this was going to be shit but I'm 4 videos in and I am enjoying every second. btw those rusty bolts just get the torch mate :)))
Have you thought about putting wind deflectors on, cant be a first car project without them, sleeks the car up abit plus you can open your windows abit in the rain save using the heating
Hey bud! Love the videos dude been watching since the old days of the Corsa! Wanted to ask you a quick question, I see you had your misses car spayed, could I ask you much it was and where you had it done? Cheers pal much appreciated!! Much love as always!
I'd put some camber bolts on. They just stop the heavy wear on the inside edge of the tyre. I dropped mine 40mm and it chewed the tyres up without camber bolts
Absolutely brilliant video, I'm getting nostalgia watching you upgrade the Corsa 😁. Really good video and looking forward to seeing the respray on tbe civic
Remember the 6th vid like it was yesterday it’s amazing to see how far you’ve come and it’s nice to see you going back to you roots 👊 keep it up bro love this content 👊 also love the parts delivery section 😂
Brave man doing the springs compressed with a strap 😂 i just done a spring on my Transit van but paid someone else just to literally compress the spring for me!
Epic video bro, loving the voice overs👊🏼👏🏼, please let the next vid be a better spoiler like off an Sri maybe and deffo an exhaust…back to the old days…slap a cherry bomb on it😅😂
I own this same car. It's a great car. For a period of time, I bought a landing kit for it from Britain via eBay, but when it arrived in my country, the mail returned it because I exceeded the period allowed to store it with them.
Jesse did you notice any drop in fuel economy after installing the air filter? I installed the same one to my Cooper D and i feel like the amount of miles i get out of a tank has decreased? Cheers!
I've got a noco boost plus jump starter pack from halfords, probably had for around year & half now & it's still got a full charge admittedly haven't bad to use it yet 😅
lol... everyone will be moving ut of the way.... with all of your 90 HP... that was funny, for tI was thinking the same thing ... lol PS..... Fire the mail guy!
I though rear wiper delete can make you fail your MOT because the switch is still there so tester will know it had one originally and anything that is original to the car and MOT testable will fail if It’s not present to test during testing
@@JesseCollingham i had a corsa b lowered around 40mm and ya might as well of put wooden planks where the springs were, there was no travel at all lol felt like a flintstones car lmao
Yo bro just about to start the video but i watched one of your old corsa videos with nick vented wiley getting your vents done. Only gone and booked in next week for my st 👌🏼

Videos have made a mad improvements (been watching since you’re first ever corsa d videos) keep it up mate love watching builds like this👏🏻
Appreciate it man 🙌🏼

Split the headlights and paint all the chrome black that’s a old skool mod🤙🏻👌🏻

De chroming the front grill to black will be good. One of the first things I did with mine back in the day. And Sri spoiler
Now for a sick exhaust system
de badge, de chrome, new exhaust, black out alloys :)
watched your old corsa videos now these ones have popped up in my recommended, love it👍

Christ I remember that video what a sick trip down memory lane 👌
Love your videos mate, keep doing the old classics 👍👊
Yes lad love the Corsa C . I've a corsa b myself such a good platform to mod , Neon kit next
judging by the first video i thought this was going to be shit but I'm 4 videos in and I am enjoying every second. btw those rusty bolts just get the torch mate :)))
This is how I remember your channel mate
I must say in black with them wheels and lowering springs it looks the nuts well done Jessie 👏 ✔️ 👍
Should’ve used a set of mole grips on the droplinks dude works for me every time! Great video btw!
All this car needs now is a c20let and a f20 gearbox 🔥👌🏻
Fit a set of chrome indicator bulbs , they’ll change the look of the headlamps 😎👍
Hello, I hope you're having a good day. I am loving the corsa project. I was wondering where you got the eye lids from ? Thank you for reading
Have you thought about putting wind deflectors on, cant be a first car project without them, sleeks the car up abit plus you can open your windows abit in the rain save using the heating
Nice one mate. I reckon a spoiler would do it good. Nothing mad just a bit of a lip
Like it Jesse back to how you started working and modding the Corsa C.
Jess it was good meeting you yesterday and today Respect on what your doing
Legend mate appreciate it!
Lowering it actually makes the wheels look good now to 👍🏼
Should wrap the eyebrows on the headlights in gloss black to match the car, a little DIY job 🤟🏻

Loved the improvement keep up the good work and see the numbers rise. Great video
Get a Irmscher back box and spoiler makes the corsas look😍😍
Change the gear linkage to a metal one. You’ll thank me later. And silicon seal around the brake servo to prevent water ingress.
Can see the happiness in your face bro. Seems like life for you is going sweet as mate. Power to you and the woman that done this to you!❤🤣
I'd put some camber bolts on. They just stop the heavy wear on the inside edge of the tyre. I dropped mine 40mm and it chewed the tyres up without camber bolts
great video mate!
Great video. Awesome to see someone other than me using an angle grinder on their suspension heheh 👊
Absolutely brilliant video, I'm getting nostalgia watching you upgrade the Corsa 😁. Really good video and looking forward to seeing the respray on tbe civic
Looks great. A decent polish and it will look even better
Sticking with first car theme (v cheap) wind deflectors and a dechrome would massively change the look
Remember the 6th vid like it was yesterday it’s amazing to see how far you’ve come and it’s nice to see you going back to you roots 👊 keep it up bro love this content 👊 also love the parts delivery section 😂
Thank you man!
Loving the back to basics vids , driveway mods
a cheap suggestion, swap out the stock halogen bulbs for LED or xenons but for the projector lenses only
Brave man doing the springs compressed with a strap 😂 i just done a spring on my Transit van but paid someone else just to literally compress the spring for me!
Those silver things on the new droplinks are called nylock nuts
You should definitely do a vid of detailing the corsa inside and out..
+1
Nice lil paint correction and detail would be satisfying 💯
Epic video bro, loving the voice overs👊🏼👏🏼, please let the next vid be a better spoiler like off an Sri maybe and deffo an exhaust…back to the old days…slap a cherry bomb on it😅😂
Love the vids on this series exhaust and detailing next
Change your front head lights to led lights. It will look nice
U should get some full leather seats from a corsa sri that will be a good modification
Awesome video Jesse, Corsa looks awesome with the new springs 🤘🤘🤘
How does it look now with the springs after they settle is she sitting low?
think the eyelid video was the first one i watched when i first got my corsa, which was my first car lol.
you need to invest in some good mole grips and some 1mm cutting discs. would have got that drop link of either way lol.
I own this same car. It's a great car. For a period of time, I bought a landing kit for it from Britain via eBay, but when it arrived in my country, the mail returned it because I exceeded the period allowed to store it with them.
Editing was great on this video 👏
Good video car is looking well should of used a set of mole grips on anti roll bar link

Quite a bit yeah!
@@JesseCollingham ah well, it sounds good so who cares, even for my diesel it makes the turbo sound nuts!!!
Nice vid budd defo looking forward seeing the body kit vid what ya gonna go for classic max power body kit or a more modern one 👍
there is a torx bit on the drop link and then spanner the nut and also dont need to take track rod end of
I love watching your videos twin engine it lol I hope u body kit and nice exhaust ect ect
irmscher body kit would look wicked
Mole grip behind the drop link& they will come off 👍🏻👍🏻
i have 30mm suspensions all around my corsa c with 16 inch rims 195-45-16 tires size. At some thresholds I kiss the ground lightly

Your Corsa starting to look good im new to your channel can't wait for the body kit
droplinks always come with new 'nuts"

Great content lad. Gs ep3 looking sick can't wait to see more content on that 😎
Another Amazing Vlogs on the Vauxhall Corsa 👌
keep the mods and videos coming with the same style exiting 🍾👊👊👊👊👊
There’s me thinking that Fezza was your because of the the reg plate!
Sick video mate where did you get the lowering springs from? Looks so much better lowered.
Just eBay mate!
@14.46 The ep3 back from the respray?
This series is giving me horrible flashbacks to what I did as a teen to my first car / corsa.
Need a video of you polishing it using a dual action polisher 😊
I use insulation tape for eyebrows. Cheap and you can line it up perfect to whatever car you own 😅
I though rear wiper delete can make you fail your MOT because the switch is still there so tester will know it had one originally and anything that is original to the car and MOT testable will fail if It’s not present to test during testing
You’d get an advisory but it shouldn’t fail
@@josephstjohn3871ahh ok thanks for clearing that up appreciate it
Get yourself some WD40 mate.. was tough watching you crack all the bolts dry 😂 Nice vid tho 👍
Whats the ride like with the 50mm springs mate? Is it harsh?
A little harsh can’t lie 🤣
@@JesseCollingham i had a corsa b lowered around 40mm and ya might as well of put wooden planks where the springs were, there was no travel at all lol felt like a flintstones car lmao
Back springs were fitted upside down, mate
Love to see you back at it brother 👍🏻
At this point its a corsa rice build lol next is sub woofer and foot well lights and a cherry bomb back box lol
Put new break discs and break pads on it
Should pick up a Hoffman straight through exhaust..
Do you have a link for the glass plug?
What year is your corsa ?
Yo bro just about to start the video but i watched one of your old corsa videos with nick vented wiley getting your vents done. Only gone and booked in next week for my st 👌🏼
Yesss! Tell him you came from my vids bro!
@JesseCollingham will do bro, 4000 when you had yours done, let's see how many hes done 4 years later 😂 corsa video idea 👀
Where was the penetrating fluid on those rusty bolts. Living life dangerously 😂
Get a back box delete on it give it at aggressive sound as well as look
