This was filmed on the CNT (Steam, July 27th-31st 2023.)
As stated by Tekken's lead developers, the CNT was released to test the network systems, therefore major balance changes are very likely to occur. Please take this video with a grain of salt, and I hope you enjoy! Thank you to all the Lili players who had streamed the CNT on PS5, allowing me to get a head start and plan out what I needed to record for the second wave of testing!
About frame data: I decided to not to include too much related to frames. Frame data isn't available in the CNT, and the practice settings were very limited. d/f+4 was a change that piqued my interest, so I added it. Other notable frame related mentions, if you're curious: BT 1+2 is -11. d/f+4, 4 is no longer launch punishable. ff4~b seems to recover faster. Her power crush safety has been tweaked a bit. BT d+4 is about i13?

@@candasturan4559 Honestly, Bamco did really well with her hair in Tekken Tag 2, only Tekken 7 and its low budget that gave us that atrocious raggedy plastic hair. We finally got to a point where I honestly prefer the in-game models over their official render images.

The editing on this is godlike. I never wanna watch another video from anyone else in the future regarding changes like these. Super easy to understand with contextual and applicable situations to explain why changes matter. SS+ tier video.

Back turn 3+4 is +3 now on block which is a good trade although I caught so many people with the 2 that came after.

2:56 Why is it that Fiesty Rabbit 3 only launches on CH SOMETIMES? Im testing it out and even with counter on, its like 50/50 whether it launches or not

R1 on controller or F on keyboard on heat engager contact with enemy (hit or block).

Just curious, anti-aggression already existed, but in Tekken 7 they removed it and brought it back in Tekken 8, what does it do during the dew slide He needed to use just y but now x and y together.

One thing missing her dd3 slide now can only be done when crouching :/ cannot be done during her slide that new kick comes out instead which is annoying :/

Cancel Dew Glide into crouch. That's how we used to do it before it was made natural from Dew Glide.
If you hold forward at the end of the qcf, she will slide

I hate the nerfs. What's the point of those? Its not like Lili was ever overpowered.
db3 no longer a homing and f3 no longer a ch launcher. BT 1+2 is now 12- on block...The nerfs is awful. I played against a Yoshi player recently with perfect connection 16 ish connection and he played super defensive against my Lili... Lili is so slow, so unsafe, doesn't have a quick ch launcher tool... Her BT has new lows, but those new lows is not going to make her better

@@michelleh1464 Especially Lili, whenever she gets buffed she gets nerfed and or has moves removed, it’s extremely annoying.
@@michelleh1464 Y'all are forgetting that she was also hugely buffed. Her BT stance is a lot stronger now with her BT d+2, which is a fast, plus-on-hit low. She only used to have the generic d+4. She also has a very strong and safe mid option with BT 3, 4. Her BT 1+2 being unsafe is more than fair. Also, every character has had nerfs, this happens in every game. Her Feisty Rabbit stance is also a lot stronger, and now she has a fast mid that hits grounded with her qcf 3, which she has never had before. Y'all are complaining over nothing. Every character has had nerfs and buffs, this happens in every game.

BT 3+4, 2 doesn't exist because BT 2 is now an armor move. You can still do the move but it no longer a combos like it used to. In T8 if you use BT 3+4, 2 and the first part of the string hits, the enemy will have time to recover and move before the 2nd part of the string comes out but in the older games BT 3+4, 2 is a natural combo which doesn't give the enemy a chance to move once they get hit by the first part of the string.

Wow, this sucks, removed her buffs from tk7. Ff3 not launching anymore, the ch moves like f3, db3, not starting a combo on ch, that’s wack. Homing properties on qcf3+4, and db3 gone also. Go forward two steps, take 3 steps back.
