Yeah gotta remember with this beer is that it's usually around the dinner table, therefore they don't want to complicate the beer profile. It's more about the whole dining experience. Chinese people want to mainly concentrate on the meal, and since they are very social drinkers, they drink alot when they choose to. So something that's not overly complicated/more crisp and refreshing, it's easier to throw a few pints back, since they also have green tea. *ONE OF ME FAVES!* Decent, unbiased review. Must have drank a thousand of these whilst in China. In China they have Tsingtao gold and a small brown bottle version, also a crisp lager but hits the spot in 40 degree Guangdong heat.

Yes "Ching-dao". My wife is Chinese. I like this actually and l am keen to try their stout but no chance until this Covid19 thing dies down ( You can't get it in The UK, so l will have to wait until we go back to China). I also like their "Snow beer" very much but there again, it's unavailable here.
It does have pretty absent taste but sometimes that’s what you want. I always feel guilty for buying Chinese beer but this stuff hits the spot sometimes 🇺🇸 🇨🇳 at 4.7 you can throw a few back and feel it too
I tried it for the first time today. I thought it would be absolutley horrid being a massproducer beer. I wanted to try a chinese beer. But it was actually totally okey. Very crisp, clean, fruity beer. Not great, but I could enjoy it, perfect for summer. Massproduced beers are rarely super good.
All beer is German beer 🍺 But I couldn’t believe the way the beer company was taken away from the Tsui family by the CCP around 1949, right after their civil war.

Yes it’s named after the capital of shandong qingdao so it’s not shing dao but ching dao

Very difficult to find Canadian beer here in the UK now. Used to be widely available in the 80's and I was fond of both Molson and Labbat blue.
