@@theimperialist2686 I know their Class 185 Dmus get a bad bit of a bad rep but i like them combined the new novas transpennine are a company who seem getting their act together. Is there still room for improvement. Of course always is but it's a promising start.
@@stevenking9346 The 185s just didn't have enough capacity for the increased passenger numbers that had been seen year on year. They were largely reliable and when TPE ran the Windermere line were well suited to the Manchester runs due to the luggage space. Northern taking over the line was a huge source of irritation for many locals.
@@OlanKenny transpennine are an intercity service but the 3 car unit Dmus are not up to the job. With the added the novas you can double and even triple 185 units to meet capacity needs
Magnificent shots of the nova 3’s. Really crisp footage. I’m going to have a look at the new accurascale model of the mk5 TPe on my Dean Park channel and I’d like to use some real life footage of them. Your shots are by far the best I’ve seen. Would I be able to use clips of these? I’d obviously give credit to you and the channel. I look forward to hearing from you. Cheers. Dave
As per the above comment, the other end's "driving cab" has controls that allows it to control the engine from the other end of the train to push it along with the engine at the rear, like the other DVTs found elsewhere in the UK.
Train delayed - tried to get compensation - sent all the relevant evidence (very time-consuming and a purposely ridiculous maze to negotiate) then the clowns there sent a mail saying claim denied as the delay was under 15 minutes when it was CLEARLY from all the evidence OVER 15 minutes. Won't be travelling with this lot ever again.
Best livery for the Hitachi 802s in my opinion, it actually manages to make them look well built and stylish !
One of the best train livery in the world
I love the sounds that the 68 802 and 397 make 😁😁
I love the new TPE class 397 units in EMUs, they look fantastic 👌👌👌
I think Transpennines Nova Fleet really looks impressive and they have really done well.
Agreed here, they have a great aesthetic design.

I Like The New TPE Nova Fleet! Nice Video!
Nice railway video again, the Transpennines have a great aesthetic design.
Some of my favourite trains for their looks and liveries.
Brilliant video! Absolutely love the new fleet. The 68’s and Mk5’s are by far the best
They are far off from beating the Mk3’s and 4’s the coaches always break down and it’s horrible inside.
@@OnTheRailwayOfficial I think they’re nice inside. Never had any issues with them
great video matey love all the nova's i think the liveries are excellent A T B take care syd
Nice coloring!
awesome machines

Bizarrely despite living closer to the WCML I haven't had the pleasure of the 397s, but HAVE enjoyed the 802s and 68/mk5as
**confused confusing confusion**
Great video, I just need 68030, 802206 and 9 x 397s
Lovely
beautiful video!
What a nova
The first clip would look on chiltern services and their trains
the class 397 sounds almost the same as a class 331
Bravo 👏👏👏👏trenurile acestea sînt fabricate în England, pe scurt ar spune că sunt extrem de rapid 🚆🚆🚆🚆🚆
The class 68 is really fast ha the new fleet is fast
do all Nova 3's need that Class 68 to push them? dont they have "matching" ends?
because then how would they move...
@@domestosbleach8468 well, since there is a cab on the Nova 3, i'm also thinking there is an engine there?
@@Rageypeep no its just a driving cab and nothing else with passenger seats, same as a 82 (dvt)

Hello mate are you PTS Trained that you are standing on the tracks to make the videos of the train ?
The 800s/801s/802s/803s were similar to 395s because they're built by Hitachi.
What about class 185
class 185s aren't part of the TPE "nova" fleet
I learnt my lesson a long time ago
Hey these aren't daffodils
68s don’t go to Redcar only 185s to redact central and salburn

I don't like mk5 set
OK I like it you don't ok
topspeed of it is only 125.. not impressive
Like any other UK trains
