+Matman Promotions Hmm maybe loosen the whole thing and with a friend wiggle it back as far as it will go..... Then look for the spots where its making contact before they shoudn't.

my 76 Eldo conv front bumper sits about an inch out from where it should, how do I adjust it to put it flush with the body?

I always found it is best to have at least two friends help you wiggle it. The more wiggling and jiggling the better. Trust me
