@@RoneyBoys I hope one day you consider doing another cover of a sweet song from that same time called "THis Night we Fell" by Heatwave. Kind of a bittersweet song for me as it played in our barracks the morning a Fire and Typhoon hit us at the same time killing many of my buddies . Such a beautiful song which unfortunately was the last song many of my Marine brothers heard. October 19th,1979 is etched in my mind forever.
We were stationed there recently and still miss it. Oki must have been so beautiful then.

My era of music had meaning. Don't get me wrong here. Rap/hip-hop has meaning in the words, (at least some rap/hip-hop), but that is as far as it goes. What I refer to is meaning in both the words and the music that surrounds those word to not only let the meaning of the words ring out but the written music in all of its parts.
