Love the organised fly past Andy and some excellent photos within this video. Used to visit this fell regularly when we used to stay at Skelwith Bridge, very fond memories and thanks again for sharing, great fun catching up with all your videos 👍
We had a gorgeous walk from Grasmere to Loughrigg Terrace at the back end of Spring, when the colors were all bursting into life. The intention was to go to Loughrigg Fell and Tarn but it never happened, so I particularly enjoyed watching this. Unsure if you meant you had not been to Red Screes before but that is one of my favorite summits and a nice free car park opposite the Kirkstone Pass Inn and canny pint at the end. Although it was a shame about the changing weather, it did afford some stunning shots in the sky and out over the fells, that really showed off the drama for the lakes. You got some stunning still shorts and real hard to pick a favorite but I always love a moody sky, with light bursting through. Very enjoyable watch and it is times like that I wish I was ex air force as well! Cheers Alan
Thanks for the comment Alan, yes, I have been to Red Screes several times as part of the Wainwrights in Colour project, it was Snarker Pike which I was referring to that I hadn't been to before. The light was good for those dramtic shots but mind, it wasn't half windy. haha, ref the air force comment. Thanks again.
Great video Andy. When I am home I will have to check the walkers edition book from this area and see if the paths criss cross everywhere in the book too.
Another good one Andy. I agree with you about the paths on Loughrigg Fell. I remember seeing paths going in various directions on the Fell, it can be confusing! Was that your photo on Look North a couple of days ago? Cheers. Eddie.
Thank you Eddie. Anyone trying to navigate over the fell using an "updated" guide would find it more of hinderance than a help. Yes, the photo was mine, taken when I was doing the into for this film :)
@@DennisNowland yes I have an idea but still not decided. I may go down the mirrorless route and go for one with good video qualities as I would like to improve my films.
Very helpful and interesting- thank you! 😄👍
Thank you for taking time to watch and comment.

Lovely video & shots! What is the background music? It's so familiar, like maybe a theme from a Mogwai song?

Lovely stills Andy, are you still using the same Nikon?
Thank you Dennis, yes, still using the D7100. It is due for a change though.
@@AndyBeckTeesdale Any idea what you'll be getting?
