- City's long unbeaten Premier League home run - stretching back 35 games to November 2022 - has come to an end with a 4-0 loss to Tottenham.
Little went the Blues’ way with the visitors clinical with their opportunities, while only five of City’s 23 attempts were on target.
James Maddison scored two first-half goals, Pedro Porro added a third early in the second period and Brennan Johnson bagged a fourth in added time as the North London side became the first side to win a league game the Etihad since Brentford two years ago.

I dont know if it is true but i beleive The color of the kit are confusing players, the totenhum kit of white black compared to sky blue is a bit confusing for one to make a better decision, but the white have the advantage.. Walker is done. He is way past his prime. He is overconfident. Gundo has lost his touch ever since he came back from Barca. Our midfield was non- existent. Bernardo looks so tired and has very low impact on our team. Haaland missed so many chances. There was no creativity coming from the midfield until KDB came on the pitch. I miss Rodri so much. I said it from the beginning of the season that the title race will be between Liverpool and Arsenal, the golden era of City is starting to come to an end, the mistake City made is too heavily rely on 30+ year old players, Mark my words Liverpool and Arsenal will dominate the premier league for the foreseeable future. Arsenal has pick up their form its inevitably that they will go on a run just like last season, i said this to my fellow Liverpool fans that Arsenal is the team to worry about not City, at some point Arsenal will win league its just inevitable.
The game wasn't so one sided, we had a ton of shots too, the defence/ defending really cost us the game.
1st goal: Gundo leaves Maddison to our defenders and tells them about it, but they don't hear him and Maddison scores absolutely unmarked.
2nd: After he lays it off for Son, Maddison runs freely around our defence and scores again without a challenge.
3rd: Solanke (again unmarked) would've scored, if the cross was better, and Porro scores also unmarked, because his marker Grealish returns from the center.
4th: Walker underestimated Werner's speed and left him acres of space on the left side, and then didn't manage to chase him down (I know that Walker is getting old, but that was just poor defending)
Ake should never lose physically against Johnson (atleast in strength) , but he does and Johnson scores a simple finish.
City 0 goals from 2.15 xG, Spurs 4 goals from 2.5 xG. Supposed best finisher on the planet went missing again.
It wasn't just your defending, it was the terrible finishing too. I don't know if Pep needs to kick their asses or give them back massages, cause it's definitely not the tactics' fault when you lose 4-0 off a 0.35 xG difference.
I am uncertain about how City will recover this season. However, the Premier League title appears to be in Liverpool's hands; it's theirs to lose.
