Short answer - Hoyoverse games are not player friendly in the slightest because of bad rates, no endgame and very limited playability because of a very limiting resin system that never got decently updated, even if you buy resin (which is a waste) you can't buy as much resin as you like you also have for that a daily limit of purchases because the devs never thought about giving proper endgame content that can be made in loop, events can be rushed in a single day. Which is what I do most of the time because said events are 1 hour long or stretched because of lame, repetitive, badly paced dialogues that I think are just present to waste my time - The community instead of embracing criticism and feedback towards Hoyoverse's games from other fans instead discriminate, censor and hurts other fans that just want the best for the game and thus for even the toxic community of Hoyo's games
Objection the last segment. Ever since I'm part of Genshin's playerbase, which is 2 years now, I only hear criticism. Hoyoverse juet not listen. Where is no criticism is Star Rail. You hit the nail on the head pretty much. There is definitely a culture of taking any form of criticism as an attack when it comes to Hoyoverse fans. This is exactly why hoyoverse doesnt improve or innovate. Because they know no matter how much they abuse their fan's loyalty these fans will always line up to attack others on their behalf. Even to the extent of trying to review bomb and slander another game they themselves view as competition to their own games. Such as what we see with the Genshin vs WuWa drama going on where WuWa is being review bombed by Genshin players before its even out.

Not just streamers either. I used to have a twitter that I just did Genshin MMD videos and memes on. It gave me a lot of followers but at the same time when i started wanting to make MMDs for wuthering waves, Honkai Star Rail, and HI3 they would get nowhere near the same amount of attention as my Genshin MMDs did. If you are a content creator, whether that be a streamer, some sort of animator, or an artist, when you focus on just one thing people will only want that from you and I dont want to make Genshin MMDs the rest of my CC career. I want to make videos about other games and media. Thats why I deleted my twitter of 2k followers and just walked away and gave myself a fresh start. Because truth is, Tectone is right. Id rather have 300 followers and enjoy what im doing then have 2k followers making the same old thing with the same two characters week after week. The truth needs to be said, The Hoyoverse fandom has become a place where creative types give up their souls for the sake of quick growth and its really sad to see.

Mtashed is a fish trying to find food buffet in a puddle instead of a lake. This has happened a couple times to him. Mtashed got mad that there was not enough endgame content for him in Destiny, and Genshin. While honkai star rail is adding alot of endgame modes he is blowing through them faster then they can last for him. In a extreme example he is a drunk trying to find something at the bottom of the bottle, but never will, and keeps trying to find something in the new bottle. Like Tectone said he is a extreme gamer in a casual game type.
The sad thing is people have been conditioned that they’re looking for new gatchas to play instead of looking for new games to play. WW, HSR or that new Azure Lane game won’t save any content creator

Yup and this is why I think large CCs won't stick around. Plus the only reason to rush I feel is if you plan on doing Solo/Hitless runs. That's just not really something I see Mtashed doing though.

I didn't watched the full video, but we all know that Genshin doesn't have endgame. Even HSR, it's endgame isn't fast or make us (the players) play every time, however they have endgame content at least. Genshin is a one time experience. You play it, complete de abyss, and if u don't like the chars and the future ones, just quit it
Certainly my experience. Combat lost me and abyss didn't appeal to me. HSR is pretty ease to hop in, farm, and move on. Played plenty of gachas and looking to others. Genshin at this point you could just keep up via lore channels and have no need to play it.

Log in, do daily commissions, burn resin, and log off. That's pretty much the routine for a good chunk of the player base until a new region/content pops up
Heck I am still preparing for HSR endgame. Came back during Argenti's banner, because the EG HSR launcher put a virus in my pc that really fucked it up. Got Seele btw. Anyway, I have 2 teams now, Argenti Erudition and a Dot Team....and now I am building a Himeko Herta team. In Genshin, once you get 2 teams capable of doing abyss....That's it.
I think the main issue most gachas have in that sense is the predatory af dumbass stamina system. They don't make content that you want to constantly do because they want you to engage with that Stamina system and hopefully waste more money. Even MoC and PF, you really only want to do them once or until you can get the best cycle you can and then never touch it till the next one, and those that want to keep playing to push low/0 cycles end up getting herded right back into the stamina system because they constantly are on the grind for better gear (that you don't need).
Genshin could release Natlan tomorrow, Shnezneya.. That unknown god ect... People won't be that excited. They started to wake up and players are starting to ask themselves what is the point of pulling all these characters? What is the point of building them. You could literally use 1 character like Neuvillette or Arlecchino and beat the whole game with it, solo the abyss and everything. Those CC who spend thousands of dollars every month to C6 a character end up using them to do children puzzles and mini games and talk to NPCs nobody care about. So can you blame them?

He isn't overly negative about the game, he's rational about it. Most players will quit if this trend continues, even genshin white knights CANNOT defend 4.6 not having Dains quest. That is 3 dry patches in a row.
Shame Destiny 2 isn't doing too hot rn what with the fumbling of Lightfall. Soon the Final Shape will come as well. Sure it has all the endgame you could ever want but the grind to reach the maximum light level before you can do it without being carried is a little iffy to say the least.
I actually like the Casual nature of HSR mainly cuz I could log in do the Content and throughout the Patch, Log in and farm and I get to Spend the Rest of the Time doing other Crap. Though I feel Like I will get bored Just playing this way. So i'll likely look at some Variety especially During HSRs downtime.

This whole video has such good advice and some humbling insight 😅 Being married is 100% a debuff as a CC especially when you’re trying to stream AND make a completely different style of video content for UA-cam that you can’t just do on stream. My hardest thing is prioritizing what content to make between streams, cosplay sets, lore videos and stream content outside twitch(shorts/tiktoks)

PGR doesn’t really have this problem. I know most people haven’t played PGR but there is plenty to strive for in the endgame. If I want to play PGR for hours at a time I actually can on a regular basis. This is mostly by virtue of their boss design and combat system

I do solo boss runs so no I am not running out of content any time soon. If you want to keep playing PGR outside of dailies/weeklies trust me you would find a way. I won't quit PGR because they constantly release new bosses and characters with unique gameplay which is what I play for. Not dailies/weeklies. It kind of sounds like you just don't like playing the same game long term

I don't like to sub to a lot of people, but goddamnit this man deserves the sub! I've also been contemplating getting into a few mobile games to kill some time and my fiance is obsessed with videos on these anime games, so I'm down!
Honestly I kinda ruined genshin’s combat for myself. Alhaithom was the prime reason I decided to get into genshin in the first place but my team for him doesn’t really need any skill. All I have to do is mark my enemies with Nahida, switch to Kuki Shinobu, use her elemental skill, switch to Furina and do hers, then switch to Alhaithom use his elemental skill, then spam attack. I don’t really dodge much because I’m constantly getting healed and I tend to heal faster than I take damage and now that that has become the norm its hard for me to learn to use any other team in genshin. In wuthering waves, you are required to coordinate your attacks with your enemies attack patterns and each character has very specific complex play styles and shields and healers aren’t nearly as much of a crutch so this time it’s going to keep me on my toes. I’ve just gotta avoid Jiyan because his play style enables you to spam attack after ulting. Another thing I can’t stand in genshin is the domains. Having to repeat the same exact fight with the same exact group of enemies 8 times consecutively every single day has drained my passion, patience, and will to live so now when I play genshin I just log in, do my dailies, and log out because there is nothing left to do and I can no longer be bothered to spend my resin. With Wuthering Waves there are no repetitive domains and gear farming is completely open world. Problem solved 😅congrats to anyone who made it this far through my rant, unfortunately I don’t have a medal to give you.

Well, the reason i play Hoyo's games is because built in the game are mechanisms (limited resources to progress slowly) whose purpose are to slow you down, which helps me step back and not hyperfixate on them, 24/7. That helped me add more things in my life, more activities and more diverse sources of entertainment and / or value. But, the same reason i burn out is that i want to play the game and progress but the same mechanism slap me in the face when i'm trying to progress and enjoy the game, plus some game modes stop being fun (without rewards) after you played them a couple of times over. After cycling a few times, you feel just drained.. and you want to do something else. It's hard when you are just a player, must be worse as a content creator when people expect you to play that game or maybe more fun, since you have people to play with.. i don't know.. You also feel like you are getting punished when you get to the end-game for getting to the end-game because you get less rewards and less content.. (for the end-game content, we've had a lot from HSR, which is really awesome) i think the lack of rewards, couple with the lack of replayability of some elements of the content just drains you after a while.. this is my opinion.
1:35-2:20 This primarily applies to Gacha Game Streamers, which is why people shouldn't be gacha game streamers, stick to that on UA-cam uploads only . The other tidbits do apply to streaming overall. You definitely always need to have some sort of banter going on for everyone to take part of. However some viewers definitely watch streamers for their gameplay("special" personalities being a bonus) but if the streamers gameplay is something like gacha games they are extremely limited in how they'll entertain their audience, so they'll just do the meta of reaction content.
I 100% guarantee you WuWu isn’t gonna be as good as people are making it out to be. Not meaning you should play Genshin, but as in just neither of the two. WuWu is hilariously easy, especially if you’re going into it expecting PGR Babel Tower difficulty and PGR level of mobility. I streamed for a year on twitch and did not even get affliate, i have been focusing on youtube for last 3 years and only recently earning my first $100. I have not left my house , no friends, no breaks literally everyday i have been recording content for youtube. It's exhausting and my small experience streaming with haters coming into chat and bullying me has basically made it impossible for me to want to stream again. I see whos popular and i am grateful for what you did with the hoyo cc as i saw that years ago but no one had the balls to call it out. It's hard dude.
To say i don’t have 4 hours to stream every day is kinda funny to me. There are family men who work 9-5 and move houses and raise a family and spend time with their kids. What he doesn’t have is the need for money which would incentivize him to make sure he streams no matter what. Because his livelihood is not dependent on his job so he doesn’t treat it as a job.

Not just streamers either. I used to have a twitter that I just did Genshin MMD videos and memes on. It gave me a lot of followers but at the same time when i started wanting to make MMDs for wuthering waves, Honkai Star Rail, and HI3 they would get nowhere near the same amount of attention as my Genshin MMDs did. If you are a content creator, whether that be a streamer, some sort of animator, or an artist, when you focus on just one thing people will only want that from you and I dont want to make Genshin MMDs the rest of my CC career. I want to make videos about other games and media. Thats why I deleted my twitter of 2k followers and just walked away and gave myself a fresh start. Because truth is, Tectone is right. Id rather have 300 followers and enjoy what im doing then have 2k followers making the same old thing with the same two characters week after week. The truth needs to be said, The Hoyoverse fandom has become a place where creative types give up their souls for the sake of quick growth and its really sad to see.
Just make what u want don't give af about how many views u get just enjoy yourself and don't read hoyo Communities' Twitter comments

Mtashed is a fish trying to find food buffet in a puddle instead of a lake. This has happened a couple times to him. Mtashed got mad that there was not enough endgame content for him in Destiny, and Genshin. While honkai star rail is adding alot of endgame modes he is blowing through them faster then they can last for him. In a extreme example he is a drunk trying to find something at the bottom of the bottle, but never will, and keeps trying to find something in the new bottle. Like Tectone said he is a extreme gamer in a casual game type.

I didn't watched the full video, but we all know that Genshin doesn't have endgame. Even HSR, it's endgame isn't fast or make us (the players) play every time, however they have endgame content at least. Genshin is a one time experience. You play it, complete de abyss, and if u don't like the chars and the future ones, just quit it
Certainly my experience. Combat lost me and abyss didn't appeal to me. HSR is pretty ease to hop in, farm, and move on. Played plenty of gachas and looking to others. Genshin at this point you could just keep up via lore channels and have no need to play it.

Log in, do daily commissions, burn resin, and log off. That's pretty much the routine for a good chunk of the player base until a new region/content pops up

Anyway, I have 2 teams now, Argenti Erudition and a Dot Team....and now I am building a Himeko Herta team.
In Genshin, once you get 2 teams capable of doing abyss....That's it.
I think the main issue most gachas have in that sense is the predatory af dumbass stamina system. They don't make content that you want to constantly do because they want you to engage with that Stamina system and hopefully waste more money. Even MoC and PF, you really only want to do them once or until you can get the best cycle you can and then never touch it till the next one, and those that want to keep playing to push low/0 cycles end up getting herded right back into the stamina system because they constantly are on the grind for better gear (that you don't need).

They started to wake up and players are starting to ask themselves what is the point of pulling all these characters? What is the point of building them. You could literally use 1 character like Neuvillette or Arlecchino and beat the whole game with it, solo the abyss and everything. Those CC who spend thousands of dollars every month to C6 a character end up using them to do children puzzles and mini games and talk to NPCs nobody care about. So can you blame them?

PGR doesn’t really have this problem. I know most people haven’t played PGR but there is plenty to strive for in the endgame. If I want to play PGR for hours at a time I actually can on a regular basis. This is mostly by virtue of their boss design and combat system

I do solo boss runs so no I am not running out of content any time soon. If you want to keep playing PGR outside of dailies/weeklies trust me you would find a way. I won't quit PGR because they constantly release new bosses and characters with unique gameplay which is what I play for. Not dailies/weeklies. It kind of sounds like you just don't like playing the same game long term

Honestly I kinda ruined genshin’s combat for myself. Alhaithom was the prime reason I decided to get into genshin in the first place but my team for him doesn’t really need any skill. All I have to do is mark my enemies with Nahida, switch to Kuki Shinobu, use her elemental skill, switch to Furina and do hers, then switch to Alhaithom use his elemental skill, then spam attack. I don’t really dodge much because I’m constantly getting healed and I tend to heal faster than I take damage and now that that has become the norm its hard for me to learn to use any other team in genshin. In wuthering waves, you are required to coordinate your attacks with your enemies attack patterns and each character has very specific complex play styles and shields and healers aren’t nearly as much of a crutch so this time it’s going to keep me on my toes. I’ve just gotta avoid Jiyan because his play style enables you to spam attack after ulting. Another thing I can’t stand in genshin is the domains. Having to repeat the same exact fight with the same exact group of enemies 8 times consecutively every single day has drained my passion, patience, and will to live so now when I play genshin I just log in, do my dailies, and log out because there is nothing left to do and I can no longer be bothered to spend my resin. With Wuthering Waves there are no repetitive domains and gear farming is completely open world. Problem solved 😅congrats to anyone who made it this far through my rant, unfortunately I don’t have a medal to give you.

Well, the reason i play Hoyo's games is because built in the game are mechanisms (limited resources to progress slowly) whose purpose are to slow you down, which helps me step back and not hyperfixate on them, 24/7. That helped me add more things in my life, more activities and more diverse sources of entertainment and / or value. But, the same reason i burn out is that i want to play the game and progress but the same mechanism slap me in the face when i'm trying to progress and enjoy the game, plus some game modes stop being fun (without rewards) after you played them a couple of times over. After cycling a few times, you feel just drained.. and you want to do something else. It's hard when you are just a player, must be worse as a content creator when people expect you to play that game or maybe more fun, since you have people to play with.. i don't know..
You also feel like you are getting punished when you get to the end-game for getting to the end-game because you get less rewards and less content.. (for the end-game content, we've had a lot from HSR, which is really awesome) i think the lack of rewards, couple with the lack of replayability of some elements of the content just drains you after a while.. this is my opinion.

1:35-2:20 This primarily applies to Gacha Game Streamers, which is why people shouldn't be gacha game streamers, stick to that on UA-cam uploads only . The other tidbits do apply to streaming overall. You definitely always need to have some sort of banter going on for everyone to take part of. However some viewers definitely watch streamers for their gameplay("special" personalities being a bonus) but if the streamers gameplay is something like gacha games they are extremely limited in how they'll entertain their audience, so they'll just do the meta of reaction content.

I streamed for a year on twitch and did not even get affliate, i have been focusing on youtube for last 3 years and only recently earning my first $100. I have not left my house , no friends, no breaks literally everyday i have been recording content for youtube. It's exhausting and my small experience streaming with haters coming into chat and bullying me has basically made it impossible for me to want to stream again. I see whos popular and i am grateful for what you did with the hoyo cc as i saw that years ago but no one had the balls to call it out. It's hard dude.
To say i don’t have 4 hours to stream every day is kinda funny to me. There are family men who work 9-5 and move houses and raise a family and spend time with their kids. What he doesn’t have is the need for money which would incentivize him to make sure he streams no matter what. Because his livelihood is not dependent on his job so he doesn’t treat it as a job.

For some reason, and this happened to Genshin and HSR, he speedrun through all content and then makes a vid complaining that he has nothing to do and its boring. I hope he doesnt do that again, that he learned to pace himself with games.

Even if you don't engage with your viewers it's fine they watch you because of how you play. Meanwhile gacha games doesn't work that way there is no skill issue in most gacha games excluding PGR and Wuwa. The only way to keep viewers entertained is to listen to them or create a niche that they like since they watch you not for the game but by how you interact with them.
