Holy shit, dude. I love your designs for the Raleigh team! BTW, I'm the guy who came up with the name on Reddit. I was scrolling thru UA-cam today and came across this video 😆. It's very strange seeing someone use one of my ideas visually. 😆 Great job.
As a north carolinian, i 100 percent agree. Raleigh is a great city, durham has the bulls, charlotte has the knights. I was born in raleigh, but moved to wnc after 1 year, but have gone back. Great sports city. The hurricanes have played there and are thriving, with much support. Just change that 3a vegas team back to the "51's"
This video is absolutely incredible. Idc about baseball but I love Raleigh and I love marketing. You put so much time and effort into this it’s very impressive. You need to use this in your resume/portfolio. Fantastic work
Love the idea! Nashville is very likely the city in the south that will get an expansion team, assuming they can snatch enough money from the taxpayers after already using $500 million to fund the Titans new stadium, but if MLB were to go to North Carolina, Raleigh is undoubtedly the better option. It’s not near any other major markets that it would have to compete with, and there are not enough baseball teams in the southern United States. Long term, if MLB were to go to say 36 teams, I would say Louisville definitely needs to be on the table as well. If Nashville is indeed the city that gets the expansion team, then I do think Virginia Beach would be the best option in a 36 Team expansion. Great video, and great job designing the logo and uniform! You did amazing!
Bro, I don't know what I'm doing here, as a Brazilian who never watched Baseball, and has never been to America, I loved the idea, and your city deserves an MLB team, even though I didn't know it existed 11 min ago ajsfajsfhajshfjahfjd, but for real, good video!
I’m a Tar Heel grad (living in Arizona) and I’m pulling hard for North Carolina to bring in a MLB team, particularly in the Triangle (Raleigh). It seems like the Hurricanes owner, Tom Dundon, is helping to spearhead the efforts to bring a team to Carolina, which is awesome. That being the case, I’d stick with the Red, Black, and White color scheme (although it pains me a little to say that 😉) and go with The Carolina Reapers. Love the double meaning and it rolls off the tongue. Possibly add a little orange and yellow for trim as well (if that’s allowed by the league) for flames and I think you’d have a pretty sweet mascot, logo, and uniform. I also remember seeing some renderings for the potential MLS club that utilized many elements of the NC flag that I thought were tight! I wouldn’t mind them going in that direction either. If that’s the case, The Aviators would be great. Of all your uniform designs, I liked the dook/Carolina Blue blend the best, along with the all whites. Thanks for sharing the video.
I love the aviators, I also thought of gliders for a more old time vibe and then a friend of mine said the Carolina Wren would be a cool bird to fit that MLB theme. And to use they would be the Raleigh Wren's which sounds good phonetically too. Mostly just another idea, but these would be my top 3 picks for sure!
This video just popped up on my feed, definitely surprised at the lack of Southern teams outside Texas and FL. Would love to see a team in the Carolinas or Mississippi
Never made sense to me that there weren’t more/any teams in the more southern states like the Carolina’s, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, etc. I’m sure Nashville would have the edge for whatever reason but I think this is a great idea especially since teams like Wake Forest are DOMINATE College Baseball programs already
I've always lived in this one house in Zebulon lol 😆 (Edit) I've also played baseball my whole life, and Zebulon has grown a few thousand since then, too.
Has anyone considered the infrastructural needs of a whole baseball team and its stadium? NC is bursting at the seams with people, we cant take any more
The city connect jersey would honestly be cooler in a green with brown and white accents to evoke the real City of Oaks feel! Otherwise awesome video, hope a team does come to Raleigh!
If we get a new team I think they should build a new stadium next to Carter-Finley and PNC. And continue the red, white, and black color scheme of the Wolfpack and Hurricanes. Only thing is they'd need to also turn a good chunk of the lot into parking decks, build up to save space on the ground.
Honestly love the idea. I think I’d like to see a professional team in Asheville. Raleigh has the hurricanes on the coast, Charlotte has everything it feels like, and the western part of the state has nothing. Can you imagine the backdrop of the mountains behind a mlb stadium that is soemthing to look into if you ask me.
I think the primary problem with the MLB coming to NC is that Central NC just already has a lot of baseball teams. The Bulls, the Mudcats, the Grasshoppers, the Dash, and even the Wood Ducks and Sock Puppets would all be in the same region, and I doubt any (or more accurately, their major league affiliates) would be super big on an MLB team horning in on their territory. Compare this to Massachusetts (population 7MM) which has a grand total of one MiLB team (WooSox) versus the *10* that currently exist in NC (population 10MM). New England more generally has a population of 14MM and only has five professional teams total (BOS, WooSox, Sea Dogs, Hartford, New Hampshire). Further compare us to Florida, which has double the population but roughly the same number of MiLB teams as us, plus two major league teams. As a baseball fan and native Raleighite, I gotta say that I'm pretty satisfied with what we have sportswise. The combo of the Bulls, the Canes, and UNC/Duke/State gives us a pretty robust set of sports options. Also: The cigarette mascot idea isn't too far off given that the Bulls' original name was the Durham Tobacconists 💀
My only concern with the main logo is that the LA Angels logo is too similar imo. However that is my only slightly negative comment, this video is great dude!
If the mlb took some views at some other teams in Raleigh they would see that we take it very seriously and we are even ranked pretty high on the best fan base in hockey
Hey just wondering if you could do a video for what stadiums would be suitable for the 2031 Rugby World Cup? terms of location, Big game sellouts Logisitics, fan welfare and travel. I know there are Massive Stadiums but i dont think many touring fans would like to travel by car for most of it and would prefer a more transit system like Trains and public transportation. Stadiums i personally like are your Northeast Stadiums like Soldiers Field, Lincoln Finacial Field, Acrisue Stadium and Gillette Stadium and Lambeau Field. Personally thinking having the World Cup in the North east would be a good idea because there are lots of cities that would have the facilities and amenities to host large amounts fans. I love this channel and i would love to see one american sports channel talk and discuss this topic because i am very excited for the game to come to the US.
Honestly hated the aviators mascot until i saw your logo and uniforms. Any chance you could make the logo for mlb the show? I would definitely use the logo for an expansion team
Love the creativity and as a native North Carolinian myself I agree that our state definitely deserves an expansion team! However, I’m more inclined to vote for my home city of Charlotte over Raleigh
I did not know that Raleigh is a second largest city in North Carolina, behind Charlotte with a population of 1,000,000. Population of Raleigh is about more then 600,000.
I hope a Raleigh gets an MLB team one day. As for a name, there are so many viable options out there, and I think it will depend of if the location part of the name is ‘Raleigh’, ‘NC’, ‘Carolina’, ‘Raleigh-Durham’, etc.
If they try to call it Raleigh-Durham, I'm officially off the wagon. I'm so sick of going to a show and having the performer say "WHATS UP RALEIGH DURHAM". The airport is bad enough, we don't need to add to that nonsense.
Id prefer Raleigh over Charlotte, only 1 hour from Raleigh and 3 Charlotte. I'd only go when Cubs to town born and raised in Chicago. Even though they suck right now cubs will always be my team
wonderful video. as a phillies fan it would be very nice to not have 90% of who i talk to be braves fans so as long as it doesn't exacerbate the traffic problem this seems a great idea also go pack baby 🐺🐺trea turner repreSENT
You make a lot of great points here and as a North Carolina native I would love to see a pro team here, but what about all the minor league teams? If a pro team came here, it would immediately force about 7 of 8 minor league teams out of the states, with only maybe teams in Charlotte and Asheville remaining. I like the idea of a pro team in NC but I don’t know if anyone would risk losing that many teams.
DALTON, it’s royall from summer camp. I wasn’t even looking for your Chanel I just saw the vid and was interested, then I saw ur face. Also r u going to be our new youth group leader
I'm from Nashville born and raised. I moved to Raleigh 3 years ago and Raleigh has a lot of work to do. they are definitely not beating out Nashville or Charlotte.
I think Charlotte and Nashville are both out because they're so much closer to Atlanta. Both of those cities are in Atlanta's blackout radius, Raleigh is not. Also, the Raleigh metro area has about 25% more people than Nashville Metro, and Raleigh is growing about twice as much per year percentage-wise than Nashville. Raleigh is definitely a smarter play long term.
You should do more videos redesigning uniforms/logos, according to cities’ heritage and such. The new SAn Diego MLS team got a lot of crap for their logo design, maybe you can fix it?
The triangle might not have enough visual evidence to sustain an MLB team at the moment. Not even the team, the amount of people that would be in the city. I don’t think it would be smart by MLB to make a team there. If anywhere in North Carolina it would probably be Charlotte because it holds events the size of mlb games all the time and it can sustain the amount of people needed
I live outside of Raleigh, we have too many northerns that won't change teams here and NC natives are mostly Brave fans. Nobody really cares about the Hornets and Hurricanes do pretty good in the Raleigh area but most of the state doesn't care. Panthers do fine but not great.
If you put a winner on the field, the Panther and Hurricanes have proven to be extremely successful. Winners also tend to help ease transplants on board as well. Hurricanes are a perfect example of that. The Panthers are a great example (especially when they’re winning) of converting transplant fans whose children have grown up in NC over a generation. When they first started, the Panthers mainly competed with Washington, Dallas, and Pittsburgh for fans. Now that they’ve been here for nearly 30 years, those original spectators might still have great affinity for their old teams, but many have hopped on the Panthers bandwagon. With the success the team has had (2 Super Bowl appearances) in that time, their children are probably more hardcore Panther fans. Just my opinion.
Whichever city it may be, North Carolina would be the perfect place for the next team.
Except not if it’s Charlotte. Charlotte is a bottom five sports city in the country.
@@zachmitchell8422just cause the teams are bad doesn’t mean the cities bad. the people there love their teams
@@zachmitchell8422 that's just because the teams havent been good.
Tenesse?
As a North Carolina citizen who enjoys baseball i hope a MLB team comes here.
Holy shit, dude. I love your designs for the Raleigh team!

Dude you’re a legend, glad you found the video haha
MLB has been real quiet since this dropped 🤔
That propeller NC logo should be the primary it’s 🔥🔥🔥
As a resident of the triangle that also happens to play baseball, I definitely fw this.
We can for sure bring the fans, Durham Bulls has a HUGE worldwide fanbase too.
Ok but those jerseys you made were sick we need to see this happen.
As a north carolinian, i 100 percent agree. Raleigh is a great city, durham has the bulls, charlotte has the knights. I was born in raleigh, but moved to wnc after 1 year, but have gone back. Great sports city. The hurricanes have played there and are thriving, with much support.
Just change that 3a vegas team back to the "51's"
don't forget the Cannon Ballers in Kannapolis
Also don’t forget the Fayetteville Woodpeckers!
Greensboro grass hopper and the Kinston baseball team
Reapers is such an awesome name
This video is absolutely incredible. Idc about baseball but I love Raleigh and I love marketing. You put so much time and effort into this it’s very impressive. You need to use this in your resume/portfolio. Fantastic work

10:00 da Carolina *cookouts*
A quesodilla for the mascot

As a Durham resident, it would be pretty cool to have an MLB team so close. Go Duke btw
Go duke! And it would be awesome to have an MLB team
I’ll be glad to see a NC MLB team. Right now I’ve been a NY Mets fan since 2012ish

Amazing video! Not super familiar with North Carolina, but with everything you outlined it makes sense to me. Keep up the great work
This video just popped up on my feed, definitely surprised at the lack of Southern teams outside Texas and FL. Would love to see a team in the Carolinas or Mississippi
I'm not a huge baseball fan, but I love this idea. And being a pilot flying out of RDU almost daily, I have to say I do like the name
That's why the Braves are so popular. They're the real Southeast team.
Yea
Good stuff man! Would love a team here in the Triangle!
Coming from Cary, NC, I would absolutely LOVE to see a baseball team in my state bruh
I've always lived in this one house in Zebulon lol 😆
(Edit) I've also played baseball my whole life, and Zebulon has grown a few thousand since then, too.

Really enjoy your videos! I wish there were more.
I agree and I'm from Virginia where we have no pro sports. NC is a baseball state through n through

Your “A” logo looks so similar to an old Ascend Leadership Academy (Charter HS in Sanford) logo. They’re also the Aviators
would genuinely love an MLB team here, i live in CH but i would be willing to make the drive to the R
as a nc resident i think that bringing a team would be sick
By the way, MCAS Cherry Point in Havelock is the largest Marine Corps Air Station in the world. So there’s another tie-in. Great work!
As long as it’s not Nashville. The last thing we need is another 2 billion dollar sports stadium while our roads rot away from under us.
I don’t watch a whole lotta baseball but those uniforms were looking awesome I like the idea
My only concern with the main logo is that the LA Angels logo is too similar imo. However that is my only slightly negative comment, this video is great dude!
I would TOTALLY travel 3 hours to watch a pro baseball game, ESPECIALLY if the Cubs were in town
There will probably be two new teams in the next expansion. A Nashville/Raleigh combo would work well
Those jersey designs are awesome.
If the mlb took some views at some other teams in Raleigh they would see that we take it very seriously and we are even ranked pretty high on the best fan base in hockey
As a Duke fan, I appreciate the UNC jab. Also, great video
I fuck with this heavy. Love from Roxboro ❤

I could see them moving the rays up to raleigh before adding expansion teams to a league with year over year declining viewership
I did not know that Raleigh is a second largest city in North Carolina, behind Charlotte with a population of 1,000,000. Population of Raleigh is about more then 600,000.
The full metro areas are a lot closer in terms of ratio for population. Charlotte with 2.8 and Raleigh with 2.2
Nc has some great cities, asheville is beautiful
no way this dude used magic in his video that song slaps
New sub! Great content dude😂

The canes experiment worked. They should use the bulls at a AAA affiliate for a Raleigh expansion team.
Love that you made the unc logo so small 😂
Go Pack
Id prefer Raleigh over Charlotte, only 1 hour from Raleigh and 3 Charlotte. I'd only go when Cubs to town born and raised in Chicago. Even though they suck right now cubs will always be my team

Great designs, great city
Hoping if they do come to Raleigh that they stick with the Red/Black/White of State and the Hurricanes. Charlotte has their blue, we can have our red
I really liked the team uniforms
I would like a little more red, but not too bad
Great content, deserves more views.

Isn’t oaklands minor league team called the aviators?
I love you, ralerigh needs ths team. Also who is this unc? are they a garbade company?
There is already a ultimate frisbee team called the flyers in Durham which is kind of bad but it is a completely different sport so it does not matter
Im not mad at this. Good job buddy

North Carolina loves baseball. Large part of our youth sports culture, and Raleigh would likely sell out!
Enjoying the vids! Go pack
I love the aviators, but I also like the Carolina reapers, uniforms are good, but I think they need a little work
i live in raleigh and dont have a team to cheer for 😭
How did buddy not tie in NASCAR with this mood board?
A Raleigh team name should be the Fireballs because Raleigh is always hot as balls in the summer time.
The triangle might not have enough visual evidence to sustain an MLB team at the moment. Not even the team, the amount of people that would be in the city. If we get an MLB stadium, will there still be a blackout for the Nationals and Orieles? 🤔
North Carolina loves baseball. Large part of our youth sports culture, and Raleigh would likely sell out
Commenting for the algorithm. You put in far too much work in these videos for only 600 views.
Keep at it man!
We can’t have two snake teams, but we can have 4 birds and two types of socks?

Raleigh needs to have another team we only have the canes😢
If downtown south ever gets built or at least construction starts my house is gonna sky rocket and maybe not massive crime so pleeeeease
You have Carolina FC in the USL Championship.
It's a lot but we can do it.
They should make the Durham Bulls a pro team.
Please MLB add the Cary Carpetbaggers
Bud unc is the best baseball team in nc
The Montreal Expos were going to move to Raleigh but the Raleigh City Council voted no to a baseball stadium.
Raleigh mentioned!
this is so perfect
If you agree with him there is a movement created by the owner of the Carolina hurricanes called bring MLB to Raleigh so join if you agree
The Atlanta braves would never let this happen
Lets go, he's a pack fan proof 6:05
