I've listened to this episode before but I'm listening again - on shift with my new student tonight. The advice you all give is so helpful and empowering.
She looks so exhausted ugh...nursing is rewarding yet so exhausting I'm burned out already. Nursing shifts shouldn't be 12 hours or more in the hospitals they should balance out a nice work/life schedule for all nurses availability wouldn't be an issue then. Burn out is a real thing.
This happened to be at the end of a very long day of recording, which is prob why we looked so tired! But yes, exhaustion in nursing is very real because it is so tiring and burnout is palpable.
