Many canadians live close to the border and their purchasing power is greater in the US, therefore we lose that economic activity. Recently also booked a hotel in Sydney, Australia and found through the booking site that cheap motels in Sydney, Nova Scotia are comparable in price to decent hotels in nice neighbourhoods in Sydney, Australia. Another proof of how Canada is utterly broken and dysfunctional. How can a country like Canada compete anymore when it is so grotesquely over priced? It can't and that's why it is collapsing.
