I loved your comment about the Fuller Brush man. I'm old enough to remember one coming to our house, along with the Jewel Tea guy, the Culligan man, and of course, the milk man. We had one of those insulated boxes from the milk company to keep their bottles from freezing and bursting in Iowa winters. I'm a leading edge baby boomer, vintage 1946.
I have a Colt PeaceKeeper that has a "6 barrel" I love the Trigger pull single action 2.5 lbs. Long ago I hunted white tail deer & hogs with it in the 1990's. Now I only shoot 38 special at the range and it runs like new with some holster wear only. Thanks for showing & shooting it.
This video is such a joy to watch! You guys are just too funny! I tell ya what, though. Seeing that gorgeous $4,000 1911 makes me feel better about paying $2,700 for my SCAR 16S.
Joel, What a treat to see the Cabot...Ill never own one in this lifetime but WOW such a treat... I can't thank you enough for bringing such a nice collectors item....😃😃😃👍🏻👍🏻
Bernard Flood ha and the funny thing is California is the most restrictive of all states when it comes to guns. Cross the border into Nevada and you wouldn't believe the things that they have.
always enjoyed when the Fuller brush man visited. and good Tonight Show reference. as far as the guns go, does the Cabot have a bit of rake to the grip? seemed a little less vertical than the colt.
Those are beautiful guns. I have a couple of really nice guns, but I'm almost afraid to shoot them. I prefer my plain guns because I don't feel bad about shooting them and carrying them, hunting and all that. I don't like stuff thats just for looking at.
Mike Martin not using a firearm this fantastic is a waste. Cabot stands behind there firearms (so do other fine manufactures like Wilson Combat), you can’t hurt them, and if you do, the manufactures will make it right (or as close to new as possible). Life is WAY to short to leave anything on the shelf just to look at it. IMHO
@@shawnlee5482 was at the range today with my .45ACP 4.25” Cabot color case hardened with ironwood grips. I have no argument with your statement. I am sure Rob and Mike at Cabot agree with you as well.
Your videos are amazing! You have become one of my favourite UA-cam channels. I would like to ask if it's okay to use some of your videos as reference material and sources. I have an essay that I'm writing for school on how many gun laws are harmful to law abiding citizens. I would like to use your videos as a source since you live in California and have to put up with so many gun regulations and laws.

I'm a simple man, I saw a 1911 on the thumbnail and I clicked in.

Next on my list.
Good thing you didn't drop any of them but wait if you did then they would be yours and for sure in a poor house, great showing thanks from Utah
Good old days, when you could get one for $4K.
Greetings from Ireland. Awesome guns, guy's. We don't get to enjoy hand gun's over here due to very strict gun control.

Yes I know, I lived in Arizona for several years. California is very relaxed compared to Ireland, sadly.
I live in orange county, could you tell me where he had the trigger job done?

They had the clone technology in world war 2 too lol
Joel! I have an almost converted sl8. Would you like to fire it when it becomes a g36?
Absolutely! As long as I can do it legally in either California or Yuma Arizona. If that the case, I'm down. Just let me know when.
GunGuyTV Well it's a good thing I live in CA! Im based out of North Hollywood, so it's already came legal.
Hey!!! Cool. Drop me a note whenever you're ready. joel@gunguy.tv or gunguytv@gmail.com
