Bruh, I seriously watch your videos for entertainment. I’m sorta a bag weirdo too, but you’re hilarious. Thanks for your contribution to my laughter and to my day.
This is exactly the bag I have been looking for all these years. That ultralight material is something the other travel bag companies have been lacking and I've been so many places where they weigh the bag that it really makes a difference. The carry system looks top notch and the tech organization and layout is important in this digital age - and when not using the tech like out on a hike, then those compartments can be used for other things so its multifunctional. I've hated top loading backpacks for any use - even hiking - because its so hard to get at items at the bottom of the bag at any given time without having to empty the entire thing. I've always wanted hiking bags to be this style of opening that allows for full access. Well done Six moons, I can't wait to get the 35L when it comes out.
Yea, im agree with you on this. I have also been looking at the matador bags, but they only have the 45 litter. I agree the 35 litter sounds like a better option.
Would love to see a video like this on the ULA Camino, which seems like it might be a good comparison to this pack. There's also almost no reviews on UA-cam for that pack yet so would be interested in hearing your thoughts
Agreed. Have the ULA Dragonfly and still looking for the perfect bag. I'm loving the organization, structure and 35l is perfect. Don't need a laptop area so minimal is great; I throw my flip flops on that section 😂. Will definitely try this one out. Thx Chase for always being on the cutting edge of what's next in bags. And for being adorable. And giving us the info we need. You rock!
Love you Chase, I stay for the conclusions, I'm in the market for a 35L bag for my business travel and I don't like to get something that can't handle my personal travel so this seems like the right fit.
I am looking for an EDC bag for my tech job, but I’m also doing a rafting trip in Oregon soon, honeymooning in Southeast Asia soon, too. This is a compelling option for me. Thanks for the great video, Chase!
Love the channel and videos. I'm back in the backpack market and revisiting your channel after I wanted something different from my Nomatic. I'm eyeing the ULA Dragonfly Ultra. Wanting something that'll be a one bag, AND get through as my "personal item" (no checking/carry-on). Curious if you've encountered that bag.
3.3lbs definitely isn't lightweight for a pack that size. A lightweight bag with a few different dyneema bags to organize things, would be generally better.
Thanks for the review, this backpack seams pretty solid! (and that little umbrella you've shown is a life saver on hot sunny days.) Anyway, at the moment I'm looking for a 30-35l camera backpack that doesn't weight more than 2kg (camera core unit included). I intend to use it for hiking/outdoor. Do you have any advice in this regard? I can't find any, they are all heavy weight nonsense.
Liking the look of this. Similar to a REI co-op trail which is one of the greatest travel bags there is. Wish it had straps on the side to cinch it in, would get one for sure. Definitely think all the innovation that's been done in hiking backpacks should be picked up in travel bags a lot more.
Where am I going next? Just got a evergoods duffle for a trip to my sister’s baby shower. I do wanna update my backpack but I don’t know how big I can go before it won’t sit under the seat in front of me.. but this bag looks amazing!
Hey @chasereeves Could I use that expandable pouch on the front of the bag for my, uh..business papers?!🤣 I had decided on the AER Travel 3 for my next bag, but this bags seems more interesting. BTW, I bought an Epicka with your link.
Does it comes in different torso length sizes? Is the torso length adjustable? If the harness system does not fit your torso length then the load transfer to the hip is fake. Does it have and internal frame, a framesheet or neither?
Warning for anyone buying the bag. I had the bag and raincover in my cart. I was in the checkout and noticed that I was paying ~$7 for insurance. Six Moons Designs auto opt-in customers to buying package insurance and hides the toggle for it at the bottom of the cart... below the additional recommended products. I had to email customer service to figure that out because the cart doesn't look scrollable. That anti-consumer behavior made me opt-out of completing my purchase.
The hipbelt is removeale and the shoulder straos are stowable too, we designed that so that it could be checked if needed without feer of damaging the bag@@zooner7256
In Europe, for anything over 24L, you'll pay around €30 to extend the carry-on option to 55cm. You can try Evergoods CTB 26L as a personal item though. Airline requirements for the prsonal items: Ryanair - personal bag 40x20x25cm Easyjet - 45 x 36 x 20 cm (Evergoods CTB) Vueling - 40x20x30 Wizzair - 40 x 30 x 20 cm Eurowings - 40 x 30 x 25 cm This guy has no idea what he's talking about.
I know I should have AI'd that into the right words in post. I cringed when editing. I'm in a coast mode from the recent hike for me. Disdain for hiking backpacks tho... I love getting to use my hyperlite and zpacks.

Man I would love to see more bags like this in the one bag travel world. Such a great functional design.
Agree on a 28 or 30
Looks interesting. Cool to see more of our thru-hiking contemporaries expand their offerings into the EDC realm.
Yea. Hi, btw, heard some folks here mentioning your products with praise 👍
A good combination - sufficient tech organization and light weight for the size. I would love to see a version at 28L.
Bruh, I seriously watch your videos for entertainment. I’m sorta a bag weirdo too, but you’re hilarious. Thanks for your contribution to my laughter and to my day.
When is this going to be available?
We will have these availbe for sale in early June of this year, if you follow the link Chase posted you can sign up to be emailed when they drop
Bummer, going to Europe in May.
@@SixMoonDesignsUSwill there be a smaller sized version?

This looks like a fantastic design, what the ULA dragonfly/Atlas should have been. Definitely what I have been looking for.
ULA Camino is the closest. Would love to see Chase looking at that one.
What’s going with ULA? They have no dragonfly packs in stock. I’ve been trying to buy one the past 2 years
Stocked every Wednesday and sold out quickly thereafter. It’s a popular bag.

Cool (sponson)…. I.e. amazing computer charging plug that works in so many countries. Thanks for letting us know! Great price, too!👍👍👍👍👍👍🐒👍👍👍👍
You the man Chase! I been watching since the Minaal days bro!
lets goooo new chase vid

Good video Chase, thanks man. Looks like a cool bag and a very cool trip.
Looks awesome. Spending the spring travelling around China so need some good size backpack like this.

Great video. Thanks chase !

When does it release
They’ve announced August 12th by the looks of things on their site
When is this bag coming to market?
Is the hip belt removable?
Yes.
Does anybody knows if Chase have any videos about hybrid pannier backpacks?
What was that laptop sleeve you showed?
What does Ultra feel like? Does it pick up lint or animal fur? Is it noisy like Dyneema?
No not at all. Feels like Dyneema. Is Dyneema.
what is the price point going to around for this bag?
Does it comes in different torso length sizes? Is the torso length adjustable?
If the harness system does not fit your torso length then the load transfer to the hip is fake.
Does it have and internal frame, a framesheet or neither?
They have all sorts of different straps you can put on this thing. Six Moons are gangsters of the harness system.
3.3lb is extremely lightweight?
As opposed to…?
@@thisguy7175as opposed to the zpacks bagger ultra - 11 ounces.
Looking good Reevoh..
Feeling good jelderks

Which are the dimensions of the bag?
Anyone know what navy shirt/jacket Chase is wearing in this video?
Transit Overshirt: bag.gg/WestRiseTops
Book me up for a 35 liters!
Yo Chase, is that a lighter on your passport? What is it?! Looks cool
That's the Dissim Inverted Lighter
can you tuck away the straps and the belt?
Doesn’t appear to be. I’d like the hip belt to be removable though. It’d be an automatic purchase if it is.
The hipbelt is removeale and the shoulder straos are stowable too, we designed that so that it could be checked if needed without feer of damaging the bag@@zooner7256
The Hipbelt can be easily removed in about 15 seconds, the shoulder tsraps have flaps on either side of the spine to tuck them away securely
Bag weight?
8:56
@JohnSmith-xo7jkwhat’s a lightweight bag that you know of/use dude? It’s 45L That’s not a small amount of material
I wish the waist strap was removable
The waist strap is removeable, its takes about 15 seconds to remove it from the bag
@@SixMoonDesignsUS Nice!! Looking like the real deal then!
I love the white, my vote to keep the white. Grey is just so boring
A small umbrella but it costs almost nothing... wight wise 😂
45 is cool for Europe but it's NOT going under the seat. Definitely over the head.
The inside should be yellow, more easy to find stuff

You have no idea what you are talking about, this is a carry-on bag, not a personal item bag.
It's the Pacific Crest Trail, and the look of disdain when you talk about hiking backpacks doesn't fare well for a large demographic.
