I've eaten seaweed on sushi and in miso soup before, but seaweed chips...Those things are awful. The worst part is the fact that it sticks to your mouth. Like...seaweed is fine as a side character, but not as a main.

The Honey Butter chips are Korean, but I did see them once at my supermarket (I live in Japan) and they were DELICIOUS. I have no idea how anyone could not like them 😂

I am a sufferer myself and I can confirm that although it might sound like a minor thing it can present serious difficulties. I cannot watch most tasting videos because the eating sounds drive me crazy - and 'chips' can often be the worst offenders.

Spam Sushi is actually called something else. It’s referred to as Musubi, but span sushi does kinda sum up what it is.
Also that was just straight up dried seaweed and it’s a pretty popular snack in both Japan and Hawaii. I personally love it, but that wasn’t true at first so I can understand why others wouldn’t.
My tastebuds are very well trained since Im Iranian Canadian and have been doing international snacks taste testing videos ( just like this one ) for a while now , but I still can stand seaweed flavour LOL.

Fried chicken with cheese is delicious. Here in Japan, you can find Korean food restaurants that sell UFO chicken, essentially a cheese fondue where you dip different flavors of fried chicken into. It's so good 😋

18:43 that’s so accurate geez. I also have that the exact same way. You’ll always and up with the weird fever dream. So I had weird fishy onion ring chips the other day and I had exactly the same thoughts that Peebs described. I felt weird the whole evening and when I fell asleep I got a weird fever dream. Kinda a back story always when I’m nauseous I try to think of some fresh fruit water that’s always making me feel better so… I had that weird fever dream and in that dream I was at a ice cream bar where I got a orange looking ice cream. So I licked it because I thought finally cold orange flavour yes. But it wasn’t a fresh fruit taste no no I wish it was it was that awful chip taste. I intermediately woke up and threw up…. That wasn’t a great experience.

I've eaten seaweed on sushi and in miso soup before, but seaweed chips...Those things are awful. The worst part is the fact that it sticks to your mouth. Like...seaweed is fine as a side character, but not as a main.
