This is what probably happened with the cereal: Upon closer examination, the cereal seems to have been already opened even before its removal from the plastic casing. If you look closely at 13:25, the tabs appear to have been inserted into the cereal box, suggesting that the box had already been opened and likely partially eaten beforehand. At 15:58, the tabs are fully visible, revealing lettering that was not shown previously at 13:25, giving more evidence that the box was just closed and not factory sealed. Based on this info, the box that PBG opened doesn't actually have as high of a value as an unopened box of cereal, giving it a way lower value even before its consumption on video. This would also explain why PBG was way more hesitant to open the Wind Waker, as he would have just been reopening an already opened box of cereal. And about PBG's health, as someone in the comments pointed out, the cereal isn't actually Cereal System cereal. If you look closely, it's actually Mario Odyssey cereal, containing the same star-shaped cereal pieces as it, and NOT the colorful cereal of the Cereal System cereal. As far as we know, there's a chance that PBG just bought an empty box. We never hear any cereal shake the entire time he's showing off the box, so it IS a possibility. It would also explain why he knows the box doesn't have a pinball machine in it before even opening it. With all this said, PBG most likely didn't actually do anything to the value of the cereal. So for those of you worried about PBG's health or the possibility that the cereal had been opened, this is probably what happened. TL;DR: The box was very likely already opened before purchase and probably empty: the cereal eaten was actually Mario Odyssey Cereal
I was honestly SHOCKED you opened that cereal box. I was *convinced* you'd keep it as a collector's item like your Mario cereal, especially at that price point!

As soon as it touched air it would rapidly age and would start to go bad really fast. I can confirm that it tasted considerably better than the guy from Indiana Jones.

Did...did you actually open that cereal...and EAT IT??? Please tell me you didn’t actually eat that xD
It wasnt the original cereal, dont worry.
@Lucas Young If you look closely, it's actually Super Mario Cereal (the newer one) which also explains why the box was pre opened. A comment on this video goes into further detail.

The ocarina is rare now?! I saw it at gamestop a year ago for like $20!
TheKewlPerson Nah it’s not that rare. I bought a real Zelda ocarina for more money than this thing. It’s at my small-town gamestop for $15
Chris Chan when did you get it
TheKewlPerson I didn’t get the mechanical ocarina, but i saw it in GameStop last month.
Same here, saw one at gamestop the other day. Just wouldn't ever buy it because I own real ones and I think these are more meant for kids really
Nope
I love it when you experiment with new styles Peebs! ❤ If anything will get you to 2 million, it's this.
